The Alchemist is a fantastic time. My party of four wandered in not long before close, spent an age poring over and playing with the gorgeous menu, and were served with panache. Even before the fizzy, smoky, magical components were added to our drinks, the charming bartender put on a show, flipping cups and bottles around with joyful flair and making easy conversation.
Some of the drinks, like the promising Bath Bomb, were too sweet for my taste, and some like Taste The Rainbow too bitter for my friends, but we ended up stealing each other's drinks and had a blast exploring the menu. If you're a printing nerd like me, or, like, if you have eyes, you'll fall in love with the tastefully decadent menu design. Translucent metallic constellations overlayed juuuust visible over beautiful illustrations of the night sky, oh /my./ From the faux woodcuts to the gold leaf on the wall, The Alchemist is the first place I've found that pulls off spooky occult 1800s vibe with *taste.*
