My home was just sold last month. To put in context, I reached out to Kayla last year and told her of my intentions. This was not a "let's sell now" situation. I was never pressured or pushed. We also had some hickups with buyers and it did not phase this Team at all. Thank you Kayla to you and your Team for taking direct care of me and immediately responding whenever I texted or called (which I know I did a lot) I will be doing repeat business with you into the future. We were upfront from the beginning that we had credit issues before we ever put in our application…read morefor a home. We were told numerous times that as long as we made 3x the rent and had great rental history, the credit wouldnt matter. That was a lie. We received an IMMEDIATE disqualification after sending them $200 for 2 people. We asked why the automatic denial and they just said that we had credit issues. They acted like we blindsided them. We even asked about getting a co-signer to help alleviate the risk. They said "it's a hard no". Wtf is that? We're not delusional...we know the credit problems make us a risk. But to just steal money like that is really terrible business. What do these landlords think we're doing? CHOOSING to rent? If our credit was good...we would just buy the house. We're renting because we're working on our credit. You guys have lost your minds.

I purchased my home from Riverway Homes about a year ago. Overall, the home has been solid, but…read moreI've encountered a recurring roof issue that has been difficult to resolve due to lack of follow-up. When I reported an active leak, a representative was sent out, but the inspection was limited to the attic and concluded the issue was "condensation." Based on the location (directly beneath a roof vent in a laundry room) and the volume of water, that explanation did not align with the conditions observed. To move things forward, I hired a licensed roofer, who identified clear installation defects: deteriorated/aged vents and unsealed nails. The roofer completed repairs and documented the issues with photos and an invoice. Since then, I have made multiple attempts over several weeks to contact Riverway regarding reimbursement for what appears to be a construction-related defect, but I have not received a response. I would strongly prefer to resolve this directly and update this review accordingly. I'm happy to provide the roofer's report, photos, and invoice upon request. At this point, I am simply asking for communication and a good-faith review of reimbursement for the repair.

I know it's better to keep these short and sweet, but I must say I would be doing Apex Homebuyers and our rep who is the Manager, Mr. Geo Gondzur a disservice by not elaborating. First, I thought when my family and I inherited this home that it was a great thing. Until I find out that we are literally just about to watch my father's life's work get auctioned off on the steps of the county courthouse. Then the lawyers start calling. So I start looking everywhere did my due diligence and I found Geo with Apex homebuyers. In the interest of not turning this post into a novel... Geo does his research and finds that there's a veritable fortune in unpaid taxes dating back to 1992!!! And a whole plethora of other liens, (irs, county, city, private, and business debt) and it was six figures. But Geo being Geo he found a way to keep his word and help my sister and I. When it came down to (tomorrow is THE LAST DAY) Geo literally stopped it in its tracks. He paid all of these creditors and local and federal agencies, and did so in my father's name. You see that saved my father's name at least on paper. I cannot convey to you the rapport I felt with Geo having risking this much money, and again saving my father's overall good name by paying all these bills. After everything was said and done Geo had turned this dilapidated home (albeit with good bones) he did a top to bottom overhaul remodel. I mean this house was in visibility terrible condition, and if you walked into it today you'd swear you were in a newly built home. Furthermore after Geo saved us from the auction block humiliation. HE EVEN KEPT HIS WORD FROM THAT DAY WE 1ST MET AND PAID MY SISTER AND I EVERY PENNY HE PROMISED. (MY FATHER RAISED ME TO BE A MAN OF MY WORD, THAT MY WORD IS MY BOND) So I can say to you now that both Geo Gondzur and Apex Homebuyers are the kind of people you want on your side looking out for your interests, and KEEPING THERE WORD. THANK YOU GEO! THANK YOU APEX! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF THE GOOD FOLKS AT APEX HOMEBUYERS.
