We were upfront from the beginning that we had credit issues before we ever put in our application for a home. We were told numerous times that as long as we made 3x the rent and had great rental history, the credit wouldnt matter. That was a lie. We received an IMMEDIATE disqualification after sending them $200 for 2 people. We asked why the automatic denial and they just said that we had credit issues. They acted like we blindsided them. We even asked about getting a co-signer to help alleviate the risk. They said "it's a hard no". Wtf is that? We're not delusional...we know the credit problems make us a risk. But to just steal money like that is really terrible business. What do these landlords think we're doing? CHOOSING to rent? If our credit was good...we would just buy the house. We're renting because we're working on our credit. You guys have lost your minds. read more

We have bought two properties through Mary's guidance and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. She is a true professional and helped keep us organized through the twists and turns of a very competitive housing market. Our minds were at ease knowing that someone who is knowledgeable and CARES about her client's well-being is helping our family during what could be one of the most stressful purchases in one's life. Thank you Mary! read more

Mary was absolutely the most helpful when trying to find somewhere to live. She helped me view places when the current people would not get a showing or were unresponsive. She worked hard to help me get moved in on a tight deadline and made sure everything was what I wanted. Shes the best and I definitely will be using her in the future. read more

I have had the opportunity to have Mary with Living Quarters as my agent on several occasions from rentals to owning two homes. I have dealt with some other major real estate firms in the past but once I worked with Living Quarters, it quickly developed into a long lasting relationship as she is personable and is passionate in what she does to ensure you find the home you are happy with. She is extremely knowledgeable in the market and clearly explains the process and answers questions in a timely manner. She also can refer you to mortgage brokers if you are needing a loan. Overall she diligently works with you from start to finish and is not about just throwing a sale at you but making sure you are happy with the final product whether it be a home or investment property. I definitely would recommend. Living Quarters is also great at helping you sell your home. They provide professional photos and offer suggestions on the presentation of the home. Also love the third party service they use for appointment showings. No waiting on Realtors to respond. read more

I never thought that buying my FIRST home would happen as SOON as it did. If it wasn't for Mary Nguyen's professionalism and keen sense of real estate, I probably wouldn't be the happy first time home owner I am today. I was impressed from day one and I would say up until closing, but Mary Nguyen goes beyond the call of duty and continues to keep me in the loop with everything I need to know (taxes, home security, insurance, etc.) even after closing. I cannot begin to describe how much her guidance kept me (and my partner) sane! She was amazingly patient throughout the entire process; communicating every bit of detail I needed to make sure I was making the best decision. Mary Nguyen always had my best interest in mind when it's difficult to find that genuine integrity in Houston's hot housing market. I'm truly grateful that I found her as a realtor, and I would recommend her to anyone. I ended up paying below listing price which allowed for some additional fun home renovation projects. If you want to work with a TRUE professional with REAL experience - Mary Nguyen is your realtor. We wouldn't be living the American dream without her - thank you Mary! You're the BEST! :D read more

Very disappointed in their communications. Had to call the manager just to get an answer for a home and once a repose was received I was blocked from asking further questions. Application was taken no refund or credit report was provided as it should be. Per the agent Susan it it not for them to handle and when assistance was requested she blocked me. End result was compliant to TREC unfortunately read more

I have been living in a house managed by Living Quarters LLC for 10 months after our home flooded during Harvey. I posted a positive review shortly after I moved in and would like to follow up after having been in their property this long. Throughout a stressful ordeal, the management professionals at Living Quarters LLC have been remarkable. They have been caring and concerned and responded to our every request quickly and efficiently. They kept the property in immaculate condition and I am very grateful that we were fortunate enough to have leased a property they managed. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for us during this difficult period. I see that others have agreed with me and rightly so. Thanks to all at Living Quarters LLC for making our rental house a home for the past months while our flooded house was being repaired. read more

As this was not my first real estate agent or second, I know a gem when I find one. I have used Mary on one of my home sells and never looked back since, its been many years now. For any real estate engagement, you can expect Mary to be professional throughout the whole process. She went far and beyond what any Jane Agent would do, and therefore was able to take a lot of the stress off the transaction. She would inform me of information I needed to know and kept the small stuff out of my hair so I can worry about the other things in life. On top of getting the deal closed quickly and above my expectations, she's a tough negotiator who knows how to play ball for you. Don't be sad to leave her after the transaction because she will always be there to help you afterwards if you need... perhaps get contacts for utilities or references for remodeling jobs, she won't rest until you are happy. I highly recommend her as an agent! read more

Finding a place to call home is one of life's most important decisions and Mary Nguyen is a trusted ally who can walk you through the whole process. Within minutes of mentioning that we were relocating back to Houston from Charleston, I had listings and correspondence in my email. She is very knowledgable of the area and knew the market price of the neighborhoods we were interested in. Mary gave us valuable advice when choosing our home and even money saving tips. She was always in contact with our builder and coordinated meetings and inspections to ensure the process was done correctly. She answered all our questions and even asked the builder things we didn't even think of asking. Mary made sure we had all our bases covered. When it came time to close, she thoroughly went over the closing documents to make sure our lender didn't leave anything out. And sure enough, she found out they did! Not only did we not have any closing fees, but we got all our earnest money back! And when our builder was being difficult, she stood up for us and voiced our concerns accordingly. Mary Nguyen is a great real estate agent, confidant, and good business person. She guided us every step of the way. Thank you Mary. We love our new home. read more
