We were told numerous times that as long as we made 3x the rent and had great rental history, the credit wouldnt matter. That was a lie. We received an IMMEDIATE disqualification after sending them $200 for 2 people. We asked why the automatic denial and they just said that we had credit issues. They acted like we blindsided them. We even asked about getting a co-signer to help alleviate the risk. They said "it's a hard no". Wtf is that? We're not delusional...we know the credit problems make us a risk. But to just steal money like that is really terrible business. What do these landlords think we're doing? CHOOSING to rent? If our credit was good...we would just buy the house. We're renting because we're working on our credit. You guys have lost your minds.

After I caught my ex cheating on me he decided to buddy up with Judy the lovely Manager back stabbed and throw me out but fortunately for me I had already planned to move anyway and escape that terrible complex! Judy was the worst back stabbed. She was constantly causing problems between the residents and not getting rid of the true problem residents. The front units next to heights blvd flooded inside the apartments on several occasions and my neighbor even broke her lease and moved out early because she kept having sewer back up into her apartment onto her floors and they would not fix it. I loved living in the heights but I was certainly glad when I chose to leave those Light Hill Apartments at 835 heights blvd and evening happier to leave Judy's terrible management skills and the lack of any help from the owners when I brought it to their attention either.

I would highly recommend 214 W. 17th St. to someone looking for a reasonable place in the Heights. Rather than a huge condominium setting, it is a wonderful community that is much quieter and more peaceful. Plus, for dog owners, there are two empty lots next door to play in! All of the residents are so friendly, and there certainly is a great sense of community- right in the heart of the Heights. A++

I didn't it advertise on Nino Properties. I made sure everything was in order before I left my home since I didn't get from church until 1:15 . While coming from church I didn't see any advertising for my open house. When I pull in my drive way , came in and waited until 2:00 , I text Darrell and found out that he had cancel the open house without letting me know or better yet making an revision of the cancellation on the media web sites. A few minutes after the open house was schedule some peoples came to see the house from the ad on Har.com, Since I was home they ask if they could see my home. It was embarrass that Darrell Anderson was so unprofessional . The potentials buyers frown at Nino Properties behavior. One of the families whom came out had left message for Darrell Anderson, and Darrell Anderson return their call while they were in my home, and they informed him that I the home owner will give them a tour. They could tell why I was upset and embarrass by Darrell Anderson. I inform the potentials buyers that Nino Properties doesn't do open houses well, it is clearly this was the case since Darrell Anderson didn't think of no one but himself, spending Sunday afternoon with his family and left me to do my own open house. These peoples are lazy they don't put in the preparation, or time in selling a home in this competitive market. I wouldn't never recommend them to anyone. Gloria sent me a text to informed me she was adding Darrell Anderson name on my yard sign, however the original contract has Monica Singular on it, which looks like something not right. I contacted the Texas Real Estate Commission and found out the broker for Nino Properties is Frank Monacelli whom is Gloria husband. He's the broker, but she sign the contract, her name is not listed with the Texas Real Estate Commission as the broker. I have not heard not one word from Gloria, she's just trying to ride the contract out and hope someone else do some real work. This has been an bad experience for me, and I wouldn't never recommend them, she will fool you.
