From the very start she was prompt in sharing options, stayed in constant communication, and truly went above and beyond to help me find the perfect spot. What impressed me most was how she continued to follow up even after my move in just to check that everything was going well, which is something you don't see often. The move in concierge service, which helps set up utilities and prep for move in, is also such a thoughtful perk even though I didn't end up needing it. I'm so grateful for her help and I hope many more people get the chance to work with Michelle. She makes the process smooth and stress free, and I'll be happy to refer her any time.

I met someone who used to live here they said it had changed for the better! The apartments have been painted bright colors! I saw a picture of the pool without the jasmine around it, big difference! The pool is well maintained! There are beautiful rose bushes all around the whole apartment complex, a magnolia tree right outside my front door! I really like that there are doggy stations all over with baggies and trash cans! There is even a small doggy park for my dog to run. When you call the office for maintenance, they are usually there within 2-3 hours, sometimes sooner, fixing the issue, most of the time within 5 minutes. He even asked an old client about his experience at a property I was considering. Kevin called every property I was interested to get information before I toured them with him about rent and square footage on their units in my price range. He took notes on all the properties he called and gave them to me so I would not feel overwhelmed with details. This allowed me to fully concentrate on what I thought about each property in order to decide if it was a right fit for me. You will be so glad you got Kevin's help!!! ULR seems to come highly praised however my personal experience has been quite annoying. I asked an…read moreagent over two years ago to help me look for an apartment within a specific price range. Once I no longer needed his service (I found my own place), he continued to spam my E-mail account with invitations to rental/homebuying events to promote his business. I had to ask him a few times with a call to the office to request this to stop. It started with LinkedIn, and then through other similar social media mediums, then E-mail. Finally the office took care of it and I had to take the extra step to block him. Then, two years later, another agent who connected with me through LinkedIn as well began to do the same practice. In no way did I ever ask to opt-in to any of these invitations. That means I'm on another distribution list that I never agreed to. She is sending Evites--without any opt-out buttons. I had to contact ULR again, and another agent profusely apologized to me. I'm not into this spamming marketing practice because quite honestly, it cheapens a business and creates a desperate image. Do some of these agents like getting cold calls from random numbers themselves and pressured into something they don't need? I don't think any of us do! So it would imply that with common sense, you shouldn't do what you don't enjoy yourself, to people who aren't clearly requesting your service. The agent who helped me get myself removed from a distribution list (again) says that she doesn't practice those methods herself and aren't exemplary of ULR as a whole, but no one seems to be encouraging or reminding other agents to stop the SPAM method. I never experience this when I contact an agent through HAR. Bottom line: I get it, it works once on a blue moon, but if you're about branding yourself as a high quality agent, this spam stuff is not a lot of people's cup of tea. Try this instead, reach out to a potential client directly and ask if they're currently interested in renting/buying or would like to remain in touch in the future if neither are currently an option. Don't force me into your impersonal mass distribution list against my will. Here's the Federal Trade Commmissin FAQ on SPAM stating you must include information on how to opt-out of receiving future E-mail and honor opt-out requests immediately: https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/blogs/business-blog/2015/08/candid-answers-can-spam-questions

I tried responding back via text and calling but I don't think she is a real person because she simply would never respond back. So, I kept calling the main number and her number several times. I also sent texts to "Melanie". They simply would not pickup the phone or answer my messages. I am in the process of relocating from Chicago to Houston. So, I decided to give an apartment finding company a chance. In Chicago, there are a ton of these services. They actually will pick up the phone on the first ring and meet with you within days (usually the same day). This company not so much. I did end up finding an apartment on my own. It was tough but I did it with no help what so ever.

We were told numerous times that as long as we made 3x the rent and had great rental history, the credit wouldnt matter. That was a lie. We received an IMMEDIATE disqualification after sending them $200 for 2 people. We asked why the automatic denial and they just said that we had credit issues. They acted like we blindsided them. We even asked about getting a co-signer to help alleviate the risk. They said "it's a hard no". Wtf is that? We're not delusional...we know the credit problems make us a risk. But to just steal money like that is really terrible business. What do these landlords think we're doing? CHOOSING to rent? If our credit was good...we would just buy the house. We're renting because we're working on our credit. You guys have lost your minds.
