Stay far away from this company. They are simply not in it to win it. They are unmotivated. I found this company on Yelp and filled out a questionnaire on what I was looking for in an apartment. Then, I got an auto reply by someone named "Melanie". I tried responding back via text and calling but I don't think she is a real person because she simply would never respond back. So, I kept calling the main number and her number several times. I also sent texts to "Melanie". They simply would not pickup the phone or answer my messages. I am in the process of relocating from Chicago to Houston. So, I decided to give an apartment finding company a chance. In Chicago, there are a ton of these services. They actually will pick up the phone on the first ring and meet with you within days (usually the same day). This company not so much. I did end up finding an apartment on my own. It was tough but I did it with no help what so ever. read more

Could not be more impressed with Fredell. Without her I would have been in a huge mess. I arrived in Houston on Sunday night and realized I had booked a bunch of 1-stars off of apartment.com Started to panic as I realized I had no idea where the value in the city was. Called Fredell at 8 pm on a Sunday and she answered immediately, got a feel for my situation and started setting up bookings with quality apartments - that night. Next day was easy, she told me where to go and lined up the appointments and even thought about lunch. I was able to find my apartment in less than 24 hours and it's all because of her. Could not speak more highly of Fredell and the work she did. 11/10 would highly recommend and would repeat. read more

When we first moved in the hallways and parking lot where a lot cleaner. All of the exit doors are left open. They always used to be kept closed and where when we first moved in years ago. Exit doors. I am certain that corporate is not aware. I called the firemarshall and was advised that they should be kept closed. Letting 100 degree winds from highway 59 and the noise is horrible. Guess the science of shade being 10 degrees cooler is something that management doesn't get. Decent property. They never replaced the palm trees so the pool is bland now. Frustrating as this property has potential to be pleasant. The staff are awesome and maintenance is great. read more

I worked with Fredell and could not be happier. She assisted me in finding the corres y fit for my needs. Due to my location and travel restrictions it was difficult to go apt shopping. Fredell took my requirements and found a few apts for me to look at. She set up the appt and I was able do the virtual tour. Fredell didn't stop there. She walked me through the Houstons way of doing utilities and explained other things I might not be aware of when it came to Houston's norms. I would highly recommend appt insiders and Fredell as a rep. read more

This is our second stay in Houston to see Dr, Dong Kim while visiting the Houston Medical Center. Deborah and her lovely staff, Doug, Michelle, and Sally, have been amazing both times. They go above and beyond to make your stay easy to book, have everything ready upon arrival. And once you are in the apartment, they answer the phone asap and take care of any issues. This time, they had this beautiful wool rug. Very high end. My husband was allergic and it made his feet itchy and red. They had a synthetic one here the next day. I highly recommend. read more

Fredell A++. I'm considering relocating form Seattle to Houston. I knew I would be in town and anticipated apartment searching. Fredell was extremely helpful with providing over 50 apts options based on the criteria I gave her including: location, size, price, and convenience. In addition to providing me listings so quickly she stayed in touch, answered questions and overall was really helpful and sweet. Not being too familiar with Houston I found her to be a great help. I even requested alternative areas from my initial search and she just rolled with it providing more properties and leasing agents to touch base with. She made it really easy and comfortable. She's very reliable and was easy to connect with. I found 4 places I'm really excited about. I would be happy in any of them. read more

I recently relocated to Houston from the metro Chicago area and was completely unfamiliar with the city. Due to business travel, other work commitments, and the transition moving from one big city to another in 3 weeks was overwhelming. I performed an online search and was pleased to find Houston Apartment Insiders. I received an email from an agent, Ellen R., asking my price point, amenities, areas of interest, potential move-in date, etc. She replied back with a detailed list of apartments that peaked my interest. Ellen made my search easy and was a pleasure to work with during the whole process. I will recommend Houston Apartment Insiders to anyone. read more

If you are looking at Apartments, I would definitely suggest starting off with Houston Apartment Insiders. I worked with Jennifer Lerner in regards to my search. The whole process starts off with a questionnaire, which she will in in turn, give you a list of apartments that meet your criteria. After that, she will work with you and the apartment complex towards finalizing prices/availability for the specific floor plans that you are interested in. Would definitely recommend. read more

If you're relocating and aren't too familiar with the Houston area, I'd highly recommend working with Fredell to help facilitate your move. Being in the industry for 30+ yrs, she is extremely knowledgeable of all the apartment complexes/condos in the area and tailors her search to your exact specifications/needs. Moving from out-of-state, I didn't know where to start looking for an apartment but Fredell made everything so streamline and manageable. She is extremely thorough, organized, quick to respond, and has a wealth of knowledge to advise you on which neighborhoods to live in depending on your job's location/what commute times you're comfortable with. She also has direct contacts with management from almost all leasing offices in the Houston area. This was especially helpful in expediting things when I ran into delays with my out-of-state application screenings/background check (bc of COVID business hours). Overall, Fredell is a rock star and I would look no further if you want elite and impeccable service! read more

This place makes you sign a lease on a unit that's been upgraded superficially until you start living day in and out in it. it falls apart! This is a money pit! Whatever could go wrong will go wrong. read more

Fredell made the move to Houston so much easier than I imagined it would be! I was able to get everything I wanted in an apartment, and she walked me through setting up electricity. I don't know where I would have started looking for a new place to live without Fredell! read more

Moving from NYC to Houston would have been so much more difficult without the help of Fredell at Houston Apartment Insiders. First and foremost, their level of professionalism is second to none. She not only told me about the various areas of the city, but gave a lot of helpful recommendations regarding neighborhoods, commute, pros and cons and things to steer clear of. She had thorough knowledge of all the different complexes and put together a great list for us to look through. When it finally came time to choose, all her information helped us save another costly trip to Houston and I would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone moving there. Thanks again! read more

I was house hunting from NY and Fridell was great! I told her generally what I was looking for and she provided me with not only a list of buildings but a general sense of what each area was like. Then when it came to flying in to see the properties myself, she helped narrow it down and organized everything so that I could manage it all in one day. I would definitely recommend her to anyone! read more

They will definitely help you find the areas in which you want to live in. I worked with Jennifer Lerner who was very pleasant and patient. She called all the apartments the day before I went to search for them to get me updated prices. I recommend working with her! This is great if you are new to Houston and don't know much about the areas. Don't rush your search take your time this company will be patient with you. read more

I got lucky when I chose to call these guys first to find an apartment in the city. Fredell is (like the other reviews say) very helpful and patient, and extremely responsive. If you want to feel like you have a friend helping you find the perfect place, instead of a robot generating a list, I would definitely recommend this business! read more

Colony Lakes Preserve, Stafford TX - Apartment Management has a contract with a towing company to tow your car without any notice or contacting the leasing office for approval to tow your car.   My lease car was towed within minutes of returning to my apartment after dropping my car off at a body shop. The leasing office was closed and could not obtaining a parking sticker until the next day. There is not a problem with residents having adequate parking spaces. There is adequate handicap parking spaces,  is only one handicap parking for about 50 apartments. I am presenting using crutches for a knee injury and would have parked in a handicap space if available with a handicap parking pass. The Leasing Management had no interest in responding to my complaint of being towed just days before Christmas and the fact that there is not adequate  handicap parking spaces. I strongly recommend you consider that the towing company will tow your car without any notice and will not contact the leasing office for approval to tow your car. Your friends and relatives may have there car towed when visiting you or picking you up and dropping you off. read more

Houston Apartment Insiders and Fredell helped us find a great apartment even though we were searching all the way from NYC. Unlike in New York, you do not have to pay for the service yourself which made this a total win/win situation! Fredell helped us make the most of our one-weekend visit down here before the move and we found the perfect apartment at a great price. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone, particularly someone trying to move from a faraway location. read more

Fredell works very hard on your behalf. And is very patient. I was very indecisive for 3 months but she never expressed any ounce of frustration. She's very soothing. If you want a combination of immaculate service, efficiency, and peace of mind.. Please let Fredell take care of you. read more

These guys are, without a doubt, TOP NOTCH! I'm actually an apartment locator in the Austin area and would only send my clients to the best of the best. Melanie and Fredell are 2 of Houston's finest locators. I've worked professionally with them in Apartments Across America Association, which spurred our introduction. Since meeting them, I have referred numerous clients to them and received only glowing reviews. When sending a referral, of course, I'd only choose the best as it's a reflection of my service, and these 2 ladies are it. Call them to start your apartment search, I'm confident you won't be disappointed. read more

I was remotely looking for an apartment in Houston, and it was so easy to use Houston Apartment Insiders! Ellen Roberts was super friendly, provided great service, and listened really well to what I wanted for my future home. Fredell is the best! My daughter is moving from Pittsburgh to Houston and she helped us do it from Pittsburgh. I called Fredell and within 2 hours she had an apartment for her. She was very conscientious about the area we wanted to be in and also her safety. And she got her everything she wanted in an apartment. Very professional and extremely knowledgeable. She helped us with the renters insurance and the electric. If you are trying to this from out of town she will make your life so much easier and less stressful! Fredell was much easier to get a hold of and more helpful than the sales office of the complex. I just can't say enough about how great she is. read more

My boyfriend found the Houston Apartment Insider website through an online search and am so glad I did! Fredell was so great to work with, very patient with me constantly calling and emailing and very knowledgeable of all the great apartments here in Houston. I was moving from out of town and had no idea what areas were good, just that I needed to be close to work and wanted a pet friendly apartment. She sent me a list of apartments to review online so I was able to narrow down my search the weekend I came down to tour. She talked me through all of my questions and indecisiveness and in the end I think I ended up with the best apartment for me! read more

Found them online last summer, had a specific list and a short amount of time to find a place. Fredell asked me exactly what I liked and didn't send me to a load of places that weren't what I wanted unlike other realtors. Four places later and my lease was signed. Will be using her again this year, as in need to move to be close to new job. Absolutely loved the place she found for me! Still do wish I did not have to move! Don't waist any time on other places just ask for her. read more

I was referred to Fredell Belasco through a friend that she had previously helped. For someone like me with no prior knowledge of the Houston area, Fredell greatly simplified the process of finding an affordable apartment in the area my wife and I wanted to live in. She even went the extra mile after we found our apartment and gave advice on selecting utilities providers and kept us updated on the Houston flooding conditions while we were attempting to move from west Texas. Her commitment to customer satisfaction quickly becomes evident when working with her. She is an excellent representative of the company. Thank you Fredell and Houston Apartment Insiders! read more

Fredell was very attentive and somehow knew just what I was looking for. Yes, you could do some research on your own, BUT, why in the world would you want to??? There are hundreds and hundreds of Houston apartments! Plus, the one she found (that I love) I had not seen in any other search I did on my own so I absolutely would NOT have found it if I hadn't used Houston Apartment Insiders. Thanks for your help and a job very well done! read more

Houston Apartment Insiders is a genius idea. I don't know why every city doesn't have a business like this. Fredell is amazing. I was trying to coordinate leasing an apartment and had no idea where to start besides trying to google names of apartments (which is not as fruitful as it sounds). She offered me a detailed list of apartments with corresponding apartment details and pricing. She even took me around to look at places when I was visiting! She really advocates on your behalf when dealing with the leasing offices and listens when you have a certain price range or preference in mind. There is no way I would have been able to find an apartment on my own, especially being in another state when needing to official sign for an apartment. She even negotiated pricing on my behalf when I applied for the apartment. This is by far the best way to look for an apartment in Houston. I would recommend to anyone moving to the area. read more
