Alex was our server and took great care of Pat and me. The staff was incredibly skilled, attentive, and very friendly. They told us about the history of this historic building, which you can read about on the website. The patio is shaded, comfortable, and perfect for sitting while sipping your beverage of choice and relaxing. This gem has so many special places to hang out on one property. The seating is fantastic inside and out, designed for solo patrons, intimate conversations, or group gatherings. If you are looking for quiet, working, or socializing, you can find the perfect spot. I arrived a little early for check-in and right when you enter, there is a tiny waiting room with an elevator. They had a sign that said between certain hours, you can actually head up the elevators to the next floor to check-in on an Ipad. I ended up trying that, but it didn't work haha, which honestly is because I booked the hotel through a website for work so I'm assuming that's why. I waited another ten minutes in the lobby area and when 3pm hit, they opened the doors to the hotel lobby/restaurant area. Also, I need to mention how incredible it smelled in the lobby. Seriously. This entire place thought of everything, even down to the smell. I loved it. Omg how dreamy and beautiful it is!! I was able to check-in with one of the girls in the lobby and it was seamless. She told me all about how the hotel worked. Typically, they don't have anyone there after 7pm but they have numbers in the hotel room if it's an emergency and you need something. They also sadly had a buyout for the restaurant so I didn't get to experience it, but definitely will come back and check it out next time I'm in Denver. Okay now for my room. HOLY WOW! I was on the third floor and the ceilings were soooo high. I've never had a room like that before. These rooms are so clean and beautiful. I felt more like I was staying at a friends cozy guest room than a hotel, which was amazing. They also came by the next day and made my bed and freshened up my room, too, which was so nice. The bed was also super comfy, too, which I appreciated. The location of this hotel is also super ideal. There is a restaurant across the street and a couple steps further is a coffee shop. Seriously such a great spot to stay within walking distance of some cool spots. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel!

We showed up late around 10:30pm from our flight and they have no front desk just an IPad to check in! I am with my 19 month old baby and husband and just wanted to check in and got to sleep. I kept putting in my information and it kept rejecting it... again no person or phone number to contact. Finally another guest who stays there a lot reached out to the manager and he said we were a NO Show even though we had booked two nights and THEY GAVE OUR ROOM AWAY AND TOOK OUR MONEY WITH NO COMMUNICATION. When we tried to explain to the hostess who I guess also runs the after hours, she was so rude and asked why we didn't call them!!! We are the customer and they took our money and also booked it out!!! The team was absolutely rude and snappy! THEY SOLD OUR ROOM AND TOOK OUR MONEY!! HORRIBLE customer service! We ended up having to book another hotel - the Brown Palace and they were beyond gracious and understanding!

Lisa and Tommy, who manage things together, were gracious, thoughtful, and welcoming from check-in to check-out three days later. They'd spruced up the grounds quite a bit since taking over the property, and we thought everything looked beautiful. We loved the pergola out front, the rock and water landscaping, the decks, the mountain-y decor in the rooms, the hot tub, and of course the beautiful pines and rocks all around the property. Just the sort of casual-but-very nice atmosphere we were hoping for. Our wedding party took up the whole B&B for the weekend, and Lisa and Tommy helped us so much in setting up and making everyone feel comfortable, from thinking through the best way to set up chairs to showing everyone around the property to helping control the parking lot as guests arrived. We loved meeting their small flock of friendly, happy chickens. Lisa made everyone feel right at home, and Tommy was kind enough to share some spectacular pictures afterward. The cabins were plenty comfortable and private for a couple staying in Evergreen for a weekend, and at the same time we couldn't have picked a nicer place for our whole group. Next time my husband and I are in the front range of the Rockies, we'll be staying at the Chalet for sure.

If you're rude to people to everyone except guests, would they ever make the choice to spend money at your establishment? Maybe a sign would help avoid this seemingly common and offensive occurrence of people in your parking lot and using your trash can, if you're that sensitive about it? (Note: the respondent was not present during the interaction and thus the response inaccurately portrays their behavior as professional and reasonable, which as multiple passengers can attest it was not.) -- Yikes, don't make the mistake of getting lost and turning around in their parking lot, the owner will come charging out and demand to know what you're doing with her trash bin and throw a fit that you threw away a dog waste bag in the "Dog Waste Here" bin since she "pays for her trash to be picked up" (as everyone does) and then when you apologize and remove the bag from the bin, she tells you angrily that you're trespassing. I get that 2020 has been rough for small business owners, but the owner seems to have a weird attitude for someone who works in hospitality.

The appetizers were excellent, while the main courses were just okay. I was particularly impressed with their selection of non-alcoholic cocktails, and there were plenty of creative options to choose from. Overall, I'd definitely consider staying here again, especially for business trips to the Anschutz campus.

Maintenance came up pretty quickly to fix the issue. Somehow my room did not have the correct remote for the TV. Luckily they were able to find a remote that did work with the TV so that was a relief. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. It had a microwave, mini fridge, and a little coffee bar. The food was mediocre, but I did appreciate the fact that they had a good amount of offerings like eggs, ham, pastries, cereal, and yogurt. The decor is quite elevated and really beautifully done; it really shows the luxurious side of hospitality. The pool scene was a whole vibe. High marks for every staff person that worked there, especially Joe and Tyler for their kindness both in checking me in and for all of the hospitality in the hotel. The American breakfast platter was sensational, and the lite bites(pizza, burgers, etc.) I had at the party I attended were also great!! The few deductions was for the young lady on the late night service who was quite a bit delayed in coming to help me check out (and didn't apologize for my substantial wait) and the lack of hot water in the shower, which feels like it's a small thing, but nothing beats a hot shower and when you can't quite take one, it's disappointing. Additional details to just check on were the restrooms on the second floor took a bit of magic to turn off, a pretty inconsistent mattress and one of the face towels was not completely clean to use.
