Food quality / price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is Irish pub and restaurant. This was our first time here. The food was excellent, and the prices for food and drinks were very reasonable. The memu is quite varied, and is not limited to Irish dishes. They also had a good number of specials. I had the Branzino - Mediterranean Sea Bass with sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and black olives over mashed potatoes with a superior and unique citrus wine sauce - excellent! The wife had the Beef Stew, and it had a wonderful unique flavor. The portion was on the small side, however. They offer a limited, but well chosen, draught beer list. The bar is large with plenty of screens for sports, separated from the dining room by a large glass wall. We'll definitely come back!

Another great meal last night at The Abbey. I enjoyed a spinach salad that had the perfect blend of sliced eggs, bacon and dressing on top of the bed of spinach leaves. A wonderful light meal for a summer night. The wait staff was attentive and the meal was served quickly. We ate inside to enjoy the A/C on a humid night and it was quite comfortable.

Clean, open, and fun place for dinner. I love that they give you complimentary bread and they had some fun drink specials for St. Patrick's day. The nachos were definitely loaded. I would prefer the guac to come on the side not already put on top as the extras I took home didn't last well. The shepherds pie was very tasty!

My wife and I have wanted to try here for many months now. Wish we didn't waste time. It was fantastic. We went here for the Sunday brunch special. You get a starter, entrée, and dessert. You can also do bottomless alcohol choice of mimosa, screw driver, or Bloody Mary for a small additional fee. Lots of parking in the lot. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They consistently checked in on us which was very nice considering how busy they were. Multiple TVs which had different football games when we were there. We didn't sit at the bar area, but it looked fun. Lots of great decor and a great atmosphere inside. As usual, we got to items and shared. I ordered a steak sandwich with fries. She got the brunch special which consisted of steak fritti, stuffed potatoes, and a piece of red velvet cake. The stuffed potatoes were good. Creamy on the top, bacon and cheese in the middle. The steak sandwich was amazing. I asked for it medium rare. They cooked it exactly how I wanted. It was so tender I couldn't believe it. The fries were a great side. To complement my steak sandwich, I had some steak fritti. Cooked perfectly and definitely worth the money. The eggs went along nicely with it. The Red velvet cake was good, but not great. The frosting and cream delicious, but the cake was a little dry. Considering how the rest of the meal was, didn't bother me. Looking forward to going back for Sunday brunch soon. Five stars!

Ok... decided to try Door Dash. The delivery experience was good and I gave that a 4*. In all my reviews I have never given a 1, until now. the Abbey food was sub par at best. Check out the "burnt" nachos which was chips and melted cheese. That's it. No other items like jalapeños, onions, olives - NADA. Just burnt chips and melted cheese. Came with a small guacamole, salsa and even smaller (maybe 2 tablespoons at most of Sour Cream. I ordered 2 orders of wings and asked for all "flats" and BBQ. I got Buffalo wings (check the picture attached). Not much more to report. The sautéed spinach was good and the Southwest eggrolls were over cooked and dry. Not much else to say. Hence the 1*.

Stopped in for brunch to give it a try (first time here). They have a prix fixe for bottomless brunch. It was $37 and includes unlimited mimosas, screwdrivers and bloody marys. You also get to pick an appetizer, entree and dessert. It's a great deal. The salad appetizers were good (got the tomato burrata and Caesar salad). For entrees we got steak and eggs and Atlantic salmon. Also pretty good. For dessert we got cheesecake and chocolate cake. The cheesecake was great, chocolate cake was too sweet and heavy for my liking. The mimosas were enjoyable. We had a good time.

Corned Beef on Rye Sandwich

Great lunch spot in New Milford. They have separate dining and bar areas, with music and a helpful staff. The Kobe burger is amazing (previous visit) but today I had the corned beef sandwich. It was delicious. Not your typical sliced meat sandwich... this was actually thick corned beef cut thick. French fries are thick and crispy. Definitely worth a visit.

Food (4.4) Service (4.4) Ambiance (4.6)…read more First visit since New owner and menu improved from what we already enjoyed. Prices are average-high but worth the money and portions are large. The calamari app was very "good" as was the tuna app. I had the panko crusted Drunken Chicken which comes over mashed potatoes and VERY fresh and delicious vegetables, Massive and VERY good! Wife had the Sea Bass which she liked, but the risotto it sat on was bland. The Burgers are massive and my son rated it "very good" but had better. See the slab of bacon on top in pic. Yes the Out of This World Mac and Cheese was delicious even if not my style... They still carry a fine wine and craft beer selection including many locals. The service was good yet they sent us away because no reservation, said over an hour wait. Left phone anyway and they called 10 min later. Water with hummus dip came quickly, yet waitress was slammed. She was very pleasant and delays were acceptable being they were packed at 7PM on weekend. Ambiance had not changed from the traditional pub style with a large happy bar. Very clean with good energy all around. Will add this back onto our regular list. Keep up the good work!

Everything was cooked to perfection, with the steak being cooked medium rare. I also ordered passion fruit martinis since it was a seasonal featured drink for summer and they didn't disappoint. It was delicious, refreshing and packed a punch and I had two since I wasn't driving lol. The service was exceptional as it was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Definitely worth every ounce and I plan on returning soon.

The food is served as buffet style so you can try everything and just pay by the pound. They had lots of steaks and meats on the BBQ skewers. The staff was friendly spoke England and Portuguese of course the native language of Brazil. As a Brazilian myself I was impressed by the decorations of our country and the food itself brings me back memories of being back in Rio. On the salad bar side: the rice was warm, the beans were cold, the Pao de Queijo were rock hard. On the meat side: the sausage had to have been cooked the day before it was so hard, one of the meats I had (?) was a bit fatty, but the chicken and the wings were excellent as was something else put on top. Not sure if I could have gone back up for more but wasn't planning to stay as nothing was 'that' good. I was stared at like they've never seen a gringo before yet I know Brazilian (Portuguese) food equal to most Brazilians! I believe they had Brigadeiro in the display case but I had already spent a few dollars on a subpar dinner by this point. They're open for breakfast, but I wouldn't dare.

Everyone working there was so nice and helpful. We had never been there before, so we had many questions. They were so patient. At one point, "Momma" came out to talk to us. (I wish that I remembered her name. Ugh!) She was so kind and genuinely concerned that everything was perfect. The restaurant itself was very clean and well decorated. With large windows, there is plenty of natural light. The various songs playing in the background made us feel like we'd been transported to Mexico City, Momma's hometown. Lots of great choices made fresh right in the kitchen. The order took a little longer than expected, but it was a Saturday night and they were busy. They have takeout, dining, outside dining, and work with Uber and other vendors for delivery. The items were cheaper than I thought they would be. We got a few things to try. We tried the pork and beef empanadas. The beef was better than the pork. Both were cooked great. They were crispy in the middle, but soft on the end. I've had many empanadas where they are too hard to eat the ends. Not here. We got a steak quesadilla which was great. Sour cream, fresh guacamole, and pico de Gallo on the side. We also got chorizo and enchiladas. The chorizo and sauce was very good. However, it was not rolled and a little hard to cut through. Probably will not order that again. Overall great experience. Will definitely be coming back to try the Mexican street corn and nachos.
