Good shrimp tacos. Good chips and salsa. Friends live right next door. Small place. Good rice.

Tacos - Carnitas, Al Pastor, Carne Asada
Austin E.

A decent visit and I may come back, the jury is still out on that. For starters, they do not have menus, you scan a QR code to access their menu on your phone which is a big negative in my book. The waitress was great, took care of our party, and was working hard. Our food took 20-25 minutes to be prepared when there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. I ordered the Horchata which was very good, and I would order it again. The Tacos were good. The carnitas was the best, and I highly recommend ordering it. The 2nd best was the Al Pastor. The Tacos were good for Bloomington standards and rank in the top 5 for Mexican food on/near campus. It was a little pricey, you are most likely spending a minimum of $20 if you dine here. Outside of the long prep time for food, QR code menus, and prices, I enjoyed my visit.

Parking is very tight on the strip. Get the Parkmobile app for the meter. Friendly, laid back atmosphere with music. Service is attentive and helpful. The food is perfect! Their nachos are seasoned perfectly and their tacos are exquisite. Mexico is alive in Indiana!

Chimichanga Poblana Fresh and flavorful-not deep fried

There are 2 locations in Bloomington-this is for the restaurant on College Ave. We had dinner here on a Saturday night. While service was a bit slow, we had great company to occupy our time. It made up for the fact that the food was fantastic! The Cheese dip was a great appetizer-It was thick with great flavor, and the chips were lightly seasoned. For drinks we tried the White Sparking Sangria-which we all voted as the favorite. We also thought the Peach Margarita (frozen) was a solid choice. It was balanced, and not too sweet. For the main dish we tried: Tacos de Birria (we voted this the best dish. Amazing flavor, and texture. I can't wait to get this again). Tacos de Carne Asada (fresh and light, not heavy). Chimichanga Poblana (great option-tortilla is not deep fried, but maybe pressed on a flat top? Great flavor). I can't wait to bring my family here next time we visit.

Quesadilla lol

First off I feel like 4 starts is generous. But three seemed too harsh. If I could, I'd give it a 3.5 I'll start with the positives: vibes are nice when you're sitting outside. Can't speak for inside, but I'd guess the vibes are not quite up there. Quick service for the most part. Ok on to the negatives: when has anyone ever complained about there being too much cheese on a quesadilla?? Exactly that's not really a thing. So why would you give me two little sprinkles of cheese?? Like dawg I could've made a better one at home. But I wanted something better so that's the whole reason I ate out. Did you think I wouldn't open the dilla up to see such little cheese?? I wouldn't notice that half the time I was just eating tortilla??

Amazing carry out feast, all vegetarian

Alright guys, so this is the only Mexican restaurant in Bloomington (to my knowledge) that has vegetarian "beef," AND vegetarian "chik'n!!!!" This doesn't sound like much, but trust me, this is rare! As a vegetarian this makes them top notch! Everything we had was amazing and delicious, but the headliner/my all time fav that I will be reordering over and over again is the vegetarian nachos: they were a sweet potato base, which amped up the flavor so much, and came fully loaded! Cant wait to go back and try more off their menu, again so many opportunities for vegetarians!!!! *note we did carry out, not dine in*

Always a good atmosphere in 3 Amigos especially with some friends. The food is good along with the service, the margaritas are very good!

Food and service were both lackluster. Cost exorbitant considering both food and service were not great.

It tastes like they love me…read more very pretty interior, nice patio, tres leches, smoothies, cafe beautiful smiling staff

I'm not sure how I haven't reviewed VIvencia yet, but I looked and sure enough, I've been slacking!…read more After many trips, here is a quick summary of my most recent visit and some observations. TLDR: Love it. Visited today for breakfast with a friend, and it wasn't busy when I arrived, but was surprised at how many people arrived as we ate. It was a workday, and I thought there might be some breakfast meetings taking place, but the crowd trickled in a bit later as the morning lingered. Coffee options abound. As do smoothies and 'wellness shots' which aren't my thing but if you'd like a shot of healthy greens and a spice I've never heard of, enjoy! I had black coffee and it tasted better than most breakfast shots. They have a wide variety of lattes and other fancy custom options like the strawberry shortcake latte, etc. Ordered the breakfast burrito (sausage) and it was very good. I think I had the hangover burrito before (same thing but with gravy on top) and would opt for that one again next time. I had the strawberry banana pancakes at a prior visit as well, and remember them fondly. My dining companion had biscuits and gravy and said they were good. He is a man of few words. For dinner, they have a great menu that is 'latin flavors' as they say - everything from traditional Mexican food you'd find elsewhere to Argentinian options and more. They have great food. On a nice day, the patio is great other than the street traffic noise. This is a great option if you're wanting to get away from the other Mexican restaurants in town but still want something along those lines.
