CUSTOMERS BEWARE!
I was a customer of Thay's for years-long before her ego got the best of her! Her business practices were always a turn off to me, but I tolerated them, because of the good work she did.
-In the beginning, you couldn't make appointments over the phone, like other service providers do. Appts were released on a particular day of the month, and you needed to set alarm to make sure you booked the minute the appts were released- because within minutes, all appts would be gone. It took years for her to have an appt system that matched others in the industry.
-Each time you would book an appt, you were forced to sign legal paperwork that seemed as long and detailed as closing documents to a house! Again, I had no choice to accept this nonsense.
-She takes prepayment for your upcoming appt, once you book it. What other business does that?
-I recommended a friend, for an $800 procedure, and in any other business, a recommendation usually provides some discount for the person who referred. I asked about it when I came for my next service, and she provided no discount to me, whatsoever! She said she doesn't do that.
-She has zero tolerance and strict policy about lateness and requires 72 hour cancellation, or you're charged. Life presents situations we cant control, that can affect appointment times. Even doctors who say they charge for missed appts, rarely ever implement that charge. I work for a medical practice and doctor was running late with a patient and I wouldn't be able to get to my appointment on time. I've never had to cancel like that, in all these years! I was immediately told that I would be charged $50 for the appointment. I told the assistant on the phone that if that's the case, she would lose me AND my friend as customers. I never heard from Thay, personally, and even when I texted her how disappointed I was- she never even had the courtesy to respond.
THAY HAS NO LOYALTY TO HER CUSTOMERS AND LACKS ANY KIND OF PROFESSIONALISM. GO ELSEWHERE! read more
