For a small team, Mr. Junk Removal provided big results at great value…read more We were uncertain how we'd get rid of a very heavy wooden desk, an old AC unit, and even an old PC. Mr. Junk Removal took care of everything (to my surprise they recycle electronics too!) and were very polite, professional, and quick. The team happily accepted the facemasks I offered them without complaint, and were friendly and pleasant. They even managed to move a gigantic, old-fashioned, executive-style desk down a very narrow stairwell without doing any harm to the walls. And they did it all at a better rate than any other junk disposal service I found on Yelp. Need to get rid of some big, unwieldy items without spending--or injuring--and arm and a leg? Call Mr. Junk Removal!

The two hired movers arrived at 8:35AM (5 mins late but not a big deal to me) and my studio apartment move into a one bedroom was completed in a timely fashion. The two movers were professional and I would hire them again and recommend Home Run Movers to friends and family. A nice little bonus was that they collaborate with BungoBox so I got 10% off my BungoBox rentals. They took apart my bed and put it back together.. they also wrapped all fragile items and my shelf which is prone to getting scratched. Highly highly recommend this moving company!

We did an initial video estimate and then the week of the move Ty came personally to see where things were at to ensure he had what was needed to be ready for moving day. They showed up on time. Their system was well executed, and they had us loaded very quickly. Igor, Manny, Daniel and Christian were very friendly, and professional, and took extra care with our fragile items. Ty was there for the loading as well, to ensure we had everything we needed. At the new place the unload went just as seamlessly and when the truck was empty they even took the time to ask if there was anything we wanted help putting together, and if we wanted them to move anything into a particular spot while they were still there. We did ask them to move a couple of the heavier items which they did happily. Payment was easy; the estimate was exact to the invoice. E-transfer payment was quick and simple. They are definitely competitive price wise, if not a bit better value than some of the larger companies and way better service. All around great team, great people, and i would definitely recommend them.

I named a price in the middle of the range he was quoting me and we agreed on that price. With that I made a verbal promise not to call around and get more quotes and he agreed to show up. As soon as he arrived at my place he saw the couch- a Karlstad couch from Ikea- and said it was really heavy so he would need to charge me more money. I actually didn't even have more money to give but I managed to scrounge some up and pay him the extra. But I feel as if I was scammed by Inderjit (the business owner). I mean if you agree on a price so that you are both happy then you show up and ask me for $20 more on the spot- it puts me in a difficult situation since I was moving out that day and didn't have time to scramble for someone else and he knew it! I feel like someone in the moving business should know that Couches Are Heavy!! On top of that, he left scratches in my hardwood floor!!! I know they weren't there before because I had literally just cleaned the house top to bottom for my move out inspection and the property manager is Extremely Picky. I am being charged by the property manager btw. So in the end, hiring Inderjit put me at a major loss. There are so many other options, choose another well reviewed company for your removal needs.

These guys showed up with minimal supplies, parked their red Tesla, in my driveway, blocking in both me and my neighbor, despite there being ample parking directly in front of our house. It never crossed their minds, that blocking this communal driveway might be an inconvenience to the people who use it. How can a moving company arrive at a job underprepared, then bill the customer for procuring the very supplies they should have initially provided? Furthermore, we were charged by the hour for the two employees who went hunting for supplies. While two movers went supply hunting, and little to nothing was being done in our home, we were charged an hourly rate for 3 movers, because the moving company failed to bring necessary supplies, and by "supplies" I don't just mean boxes. I'm talking about the scissors, tape, tools, dolly, etc. We had been pleading with them for weeks to provide us with a detailed receipt because the charges for supplies were so inflated that we suspected an error. It required our assistant doggedly pursuing them day after day before they finally furnished us with an itemized receipt. This is not an honest company. It is poorly run, with poor leadership. If Yelp allows it, I am going to attach a copy of the invoice so everyone is able to take a look at exactly what this moving company sent us, the inaccuracies and inflated charges. Please keep in mind these charges are in CAD not USD.
