Jessie has a rare gift: she makes you feel seen before she ever picks up the camera…read more I came to Luminous Space for personal branding photography, not entirely sure how to show up or what I wanted the images to say about me. Jessie held the whole thing with such steady presence that the uncertainty dissolved quickly. She asked the right questions, created real ease in the space, and then got out of the way and let the session breathe. The editing is exceptional. The final images are honest and alive, not overproduced. They look like me on my best day, which is exactly what this kind of work requires. If you are a founder, practitioner, or creative who needs photographs that actually carry your essence, Jessie is the real thing.

Buyer beware. The shoot went fine, but the photo I got out of it was not…read more First of all, note that she only releases *one* photo to you--one raw and one edited version! This is not at all clear from the website marketing, which states: * Photos Taken: 30-50 images * Retouched Images: 1 professionally edited photo (selected on-site) Apparently you also get only 1 raw image, though this is not stated. You have to immediately go through a lengthy three-phase process to choose that photo --no consulting with friends/partners. Okay, so maybe I should have found the fine print, but it turns out "professionally edited" means "created by AI." It generated an image that looks like a 25-year-old digital avatar of me, quite different from the original photo. The website also claims that "We offer 2 rounds of free revisions," but I have not received a response a week after asking for one. So, I'm using the raw image, which is fine.

She was able to accommodate us at the last minute, which we truly appreciated, and she came to our home making the session incredibly comfortable and stress-free for our daughter and us! Michelle handled our baby with extreme care and patience, and she managed to keep her calm and content throughout the entire session. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful and captured our daughter so perfectly. Michelle is truly a baby whisperer as well as an excellent photographer. We would highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for newborn photography

With her seven years of experience, I could tell my newborn was in good hands right away. Her patience and ability to work with newborn babies is truly a talent! Prior to meeting, I had communicated with Michelle on Yelp and inquired her different packages, then signed a contract and paid a $50 deposit. Everything was pretty smooth and easy. The three packages are on her website, either basic, signature, or premium, and we went with the middle package - the signature, which was perfect for us. The middle package had 4 poses, swaddled, family included, and we received 50 photos! Fast forward to photoshoot morning - we followed directions to have baby fed and changed into a diaper by the time of her arrival. My son was 13 days old when she took photos in our home. She came with her props, accessories, and baskets all prepared! Michelle also brought a sound machine that had white noise playing to soothe the baby. She swaddled my son and every photo pose/ setup increased in difficulty but she was really patient and worked with my son who almost was so fussy he'd wake! I enjoyed that she brought different colors for swaddles and blankets and various types of hats for us to choose from. Furthermore, if you're like me and your home is a mess, don't worry! Michelle will make it work and she will decide which room has the best lighting for her photos. She'll need about 5ftx5ft of space at least! Michelle delivered our gallery in a blink of an eye. Literally got an email about images being ready within 3 days of the shoot. I loved every image!! My son had baby acne and dry skin peeling at the time and she let me know that if I chose 10 photos, she would retouch them and she did! Overall my husband and I are loving our photos and highly recommend Michelle. You will NOT be disappointed. I'm so thrilled I have beautiful images of my son captured when he was only two weeks old. Memories to last a lifetime! Thanks Michelle!

She got smiles galore out of our little one, had an eye for capturing perfect shots, and was really creative. (My son couldn't sit up yet when the picture was taken, but she managed to snap that photo as he made a game of flopping over after we arranged him in a "tripod" position.) She knows how to make the best of natural light -- even if it means rearranging the furniture a little! In our session, we got photos in our home as well as outside, photos of the baby by himself and a few of the three of us together and of the baby with each parent individually. When I got the proofs, I actually squealed my way through them I was so delighted. We ordered pictures for our friends and family (including the one shown in the examples here), who loved them and admire our family portrait, which is so natural and captures our family perfectly. The price for the session is phenomenally good and the picture prices are good as well -- when I've heard what other parents have spent on photos that were pretty good but not oh-my-gosh-she-can-photograph-our-souls good, I just shake my head. I'm glad Yelp sent me Christine's way. As other reviewers have said, she is an artist. We've booked Christine again to take our little one's first birthday photos (time flies!) this coming Sunday, and I'm looking forward to it.

We signed up for a one year package for pictures of our first son at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months and just finished the second sitting. The pictures are incredible and we have received so many compliments from friends and family. We went to a nearby lake and also did shots in our house. We've been told the first year goes by so fast and we really wanted to capture our son in these different stages. Christine keeps things very simple and goes with the flow. If you're looking for a talented, fun and professional photographer, check out Christine!
