Long overdue on a long review (our wedding was in June haha), but wanted to share about our experience with Pure Devotion. The team, Eric and Connie, is great - they're super sweet and passionate people. They offer a broad selection of services for you to mix and match depending on your needs, so if you are an overwhelmed couple like we were, then this is perfect for you :) We used them for videography, flowers and props, lighting, and photobooth. Videography: Eric handles all the videography and photography, and he's very knowledgeable about his craft. We were a little on the fence when we first started looking for a videographer (we didn't know if we could justify spending thousands of dollars for a short video), but Eric was very no pressure and just happily showed us samples of his work. He patiently made sure he understood what we were looking for, we ended up going with the "cinematic" style 4K highlight video (~3 minutes long). On the wedding day he showed up with 3 assistants and a drone to capture all the footage. It took roughly 3 months to get the video link and he mails a USB with the remaining raw footage. He went the extra mile and helped us edit the raw footage as well so that it was watchable and not a jumble of clips. Flowers: Connie did an amazing job with the flowers. I just sent her pictures of what I wanted, we discussed which flowers were important to have, and she delivered beautiful bouquets, aisle pedestals, guest table decor, and the dining centerpieces. I actually wanted taller centerpiece vases than what she had in inventory and she went out and got some! Flowers looked fresh and great through the night. We also had her help us with draping background for our garden setting. She went out to the site to make sure the draping would work and checked in with me before making adjustments day of. She kindly stayed through the ceremony to help move the flowers to the reception area afterwards. She has a ton of props in the studio, so don't forget to ask her what you want to rent! Lighting: We rented uplights to put up around the room. They also have pin lights and other fancy lights. The uplights were technically fine but I think we had missed communication on the color, so check beforehand :( Photobooth: Unfortunately can't recommend this service. Supposed to be backdrop with props manned by an attendant that prints out the photos. Camera ended up being unattended, photos mostly blurry/out of focus. Thank you, team! Connie and Eric did a phenomenal job at our wedding; they were a "one stop shop" for us. They had beautiful decorations/lighting and backdrops at our banquet, great floral arrangements and bouquets, a great DJ, and a great photo booth. They were very responsive to our e-mails and texts and went over and beyond to ensure a smooth wedding! Eric was very flexible to our last minute requests on backdrop design and photo booth strips. Our Wedding took place mid Nov this year. We went with Eric the brilliant photographer and his team for both pre-wedding photo session and wedding day photos. We also worked with Connie on outfits rental and decorations. Every encounter with them are warm and professional. Eric and his team are very experienced wedding photographers and they are in the business to make every shot perfect. The finished photo results were also delivered to us on schedule, giving us ample time to make slide shows and order prints for displays. Connie was very patient through the entire dressing picking and fitting process. Everything she set up for us was gorgeous, from backdrop setting, to reception desk decor, to main table setting. Our wedding took place 3 months ago. Our wedding video turns out just stunning. Everyone loves it!! A lot of my friends said it was the best wedding video they've ever seen. Our 1st Yelp review! Had to give this business a glowing recommendation b/c of the wonderful job they did with our wedding. We were referred to Eric by our friends, whose wedding he also photographed. After getting in touch, we found out that Eric works with a bunch of people who do flowers, decor, dress rentals, makeup/hair, etc. I wish we had found them earlier, to save us all that time talking with different vendors. Eric gave us a very reasonable quote for shooting our wedding (it was a 12-hour day, I imagine his arm must've been falling off toward the end). And he also brought along an assistant to second shoot. We got the pictures back within 2 weeks and had such a good time looking thru them. The two photographers not only did a spectacular job shooting portraits and us with our guests, they also captured a lot of in-the-moment shots and detailed shots that we weren't able to see on that day. Almost like reliving the day thru the photographer's eyes. Connie did our wedding flowers, and they turned out even better than I imagined (and I'm quite hard to please when it comes to wedding details-- just ask my husband). She attentively listens to what you want, and was very good about communicating and sending pictures to see what you like. And she was flexible even to our day-before requests. So many of our guests complimented the arrangements, my bouquet, everything. Connie and her assistant worked tirelessly to set up, freshen up the flowers, and move the arrangements to our reception venue. It was about 100 degrees in the sun, but they got everything done quickly on their own. She's the best kind of wedding vendor-- because she asks all the necessary questions beforehand, then on that day, you hardly even see her, she already knows exactly what to do. Pure Devotion gets a 5-star review from us because they not only did a good job on our wedding, they spent time to get to know us, chatted with us, offered advice & encouragement along the way. I was looking for a photo booth to be a part of my daughter's 1st birthday party. I've been to many weddings with a photo booth and thought the kids would enjoy it at the birthday party. I looked at pricing for many wedding vendors and they were all out of my budget. My friend recommended that I inquire with Pure Devotion. Their price was very reasonable and so I decided to hire them. We rented a rec hall. When time came to decorating for the party, I was told that we can't tape anything on the walls. WTH?!? My friend made a banner and everything! Pure Devotion was kind enough to let us use their back drop to hang the birthday banner. So glad that they were so equipped! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the photo booth with lots of props. The booth was automated; photos were great quality and printed quickly. Eric was very responsive by email and phone and SO thoughtful in getting to know us and making a video that reflected our style! He and Connie drove a long way to meet with my partner and me. They asked about how we met, what music we like, what we value, what style we like. It was so fun meeting with them. They are both very personable, warm and engaging. On the day of the event, Eric was joined by Jeff, who was also super sweet. They were fantastic! They had this way of being in all the right places at the right time and capturing the important moments on film but never getting in the way or being distracting. We loved all their angles and artistic styling (like shifting the focus from foreground to background and vice versa in certain shots). They are definitely pros! They also used the drone which gave the video a lovely cinematic feel and was just so fun! The highlight video moved us to tears and we watched it about 10+ times in the first day. It captured so many of our favorite moments from our wedding day and was edited together so beautifully. We be came friend in no time, he has a artistic spirit, he can always capture moments in a way that other ppl can't think abt. Eric and Connie were referred to me by my friend who had them as their photographer. They were extremely friendly and helpful! I had a very limited budget and they did their best to help me out. I was unable to use Connie as my florist but I really loved the designs that she came up with for my wedding. We had Eric as the videographer and Eric Fok as our photographer. We also did our engagement pictures with them and they were great! As we only had a few weeks left before our wedding, Eric rushed to get the pictures ready and got enlarged photos for us as well. We had Eric as our videographer and it was an excellent choice for our wedding! Eric is very professional and knows what he is doing. He has a background in TV productions, so he knows how to use the best techniques to shoot the best videos. He is also very friendly and makes it a very fun environment even when they are cameras in your face. He brought along an assistant and both were very patient and detailed. Eric shot our entire day from the early morning tea ceremony to the last dance. He even helped us take some photos too! Eric was able to deliver a highlight video to us within a month! I am writing this and it is only day 2 after my wedding! I met Connie just 6-7 weeks before the wedding and wanted her to be the day of wedding coordinator, she helped me through out the weeks before the wedding with everything I needed. She was always willing to help even with last minute things. Connie also did the back drape and the up lights for my wedding which were amazing and I was so happy with, I just wish I had a picture at this time to go with my review but this is an early review. Beside her amazing job comes her calm personality that made me feel there is some one in control and I don't have to be nervous as a bride if anything goes wrong. Another super important thing to point out that her prices are very reasonable comparing to what others offered, weddings are expansive so this is what adds to my experience with Pure Devotion ladies Connie and Eunice. During my reception, they were always there trying to see if I needed anything, help with the dress and making sure everyone was happy, they solved issues that came up last minutes before I learn about them. I highly recommend Pure Devotion, I honesty don't think I would be able to do it without their help.
