We walked around the house and I pointed out that the aluminum siding was about 30 to 40 yrs old and I wasnt sure if me painting or siding would be my best option , but he assured me that he could make our home look new again by using the right preperation and materials & paint for the job. In my mind, there were only a few possibilities: the lines needed to be re-pitched, the ditch connection needed to be lowered, or the whole system was somehow hydraulically inadequate. I had this drainage system installed just last fall, so the idea that it could already be clogged seemed impossible. Enter A+ Gutters & Drains. They came out the very same day I called. After I walked them through my highly sophisticated theory of grades, elevations, pitch, and drainage design, we headed to the discharge point at the street ditch. The technician took one look and smiled. "There really shouldn't be a glued-on end cap with a tight grill on it. These tend to back up and clog." "No way. Not already," I replied. "Would you like me to check?" he asked. A few minutes later, after attempting to pry it off with a screwdriver, the cap ultimately had to be cut off with a Sawzall. What was waiting inside? Inches of roof shingle granules, debris, and enough gunk to completely prove my engineering theory wrong. In about five minutes, A+ solved the mystery that I had mentally escalated into a full-scale drainage reconstruction project. To their credit, they graciously cut off the other problematic caps as well and explained why they were destined to clog. No upsell. No unnecessary work. Just an honest diagnosis and a simple fix. As I stood there processing the fact that my "catastrophic drainage failure" was really just a blocked outlet, the technician smiled and said, "Bring on the rain." And with that, he was off. Was my ego slightly bruised? Absolutely. Did A+ save me from chasing an expensive problem that didn't actually exist? Also absolutely. I only wish I had called them first. From now on, A+ Gutters & Drains will be my first call for anything related to gutters, drainage, or water management. My gutter was backing up due to a downspout not being able to drain. This was a result of ground…read moresettling causing damage to the underground drain line where that downspout flowed. The estimator recommended replacing the existing gutters around the entire house with a larger size ($10-12K) - completely ignoring the root cause of the issue. As this expense was outside our budget, his recommendation was to call back in a few years when I had enough money saved to pay for it!!! An immediate fix was needed... he reluctantly agreed to provide an estimate to relieve the affected gutter by adding a new downspout in a different location to connect with the underground drain line where it was flowing properly. I contacted two other gutter & drain companies and amazingly their first advice was to do the latter (add a downspout)... and both quotes came in less than half the cost I was quoted from A+ Gutters & Drains. Providing a cost-effective resolution was not in their best interest. Be aware!

Finally got a text at the last minute to schedule . Two men came out and cleaned the gutters ( I guess they did a good job , I can't get up on a ladder and look). I asked for a leak repair , but they told me it couldn't be repaired , needed replaced .. which is fine . They charged me $275 for gutter cleaning ( kind of high , but ok since I couldn't do it myself) and then another $75 for repair, that was never done . Tried contacting them numerous times to get a refund of $75. No luck .

Our experience with this company has had its ups and downs. We love our new floors and feel that…read morethey were installed extremely well. The employees in our home were knowledgeable and did great, efficient work. However, some logistical issues and their handling of property damage have left us unwilling to use them for future home projects. A dumpster was left in our driveway during the project time, which we expected. However, we did not expect the dumpster to be left 4 days past the project completion date. Unfortunately, it was left over a long, rainy weekend which resulted in rust stains across our brand new driveway from where it was sitting and where it dripped as it was being pulled away. They did send a specialist out to address these stains but they weren't able to get most of them out after 6 hours of work. Jeremy offered to send a specialist out again to try another chemical on the concrete. This driveway is less than a year old, so we were not willing to add more chemicals and work to the driveway without working with the company who installed it. Jeremy insisted it would be fine and refused to compensate us for damage. He also claimed that not all of the rust stains were from them, which is simply not true. He has since stopped replying to our communication, so we are cutting our losses. We would have been a little more understanding if this damage occurred during the project time and/or if Jeremy was willing to discuss compensation rather than throwing more chemicals at it. While we love our new floors, unfortunately our driveway is now likely permanently stained due to them using our driveway as dumpster storage over a long rainy weekend. We were told that they'd come get it the day after the project was completed if their baseball games were cancelled, so it appears that these games took priority over moving their heavy equipment off our property. The interior work was amazing and we were hoping to use this company for some interior painting jobs in the future. However, their handling of this situation has us looking for another company to help with our painting.
