Europe 2023 - Bath Time to start slowing down and enjoying…read moresome morning breakfast cafes. FAST Food: trying to find a proper English breakfast and I think we got one here. we got the eggs Benedict and the Wild Breakfast. The Wild Breakfast has just about everything, sausage was great, poached egg, which I don't normally like was done right, beans, slice of bacon and a white thing and a black thing, not sure what they were but I ate them. The Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly. The coffee however was amazing! Atmosphere: we sat outside by the road and watched people and cars navigate the tight road. Admire how old everything is. Service: great service, we got our food quickly and had a nice chat with the young lady from Moldova. Tip: enjoy a second cup of coffee or tea and soak in the area.

Wild Cafe is a must for breakfast in Bath! Someone in our group recommended we come here and it…read moredidn't disappoint! We arrived in the morning on a quiet weekend. The cafe is a hole in the wall with communal seating and a few other tables inside and some outside. It's a bit packed inside but still quite charming with all the mismatched colorful decor. The service was sweet and efficient. Once seated, we were provided the menus and had our orders taken. The food came out fast and we paid at the front. I don't normally eat breakfast and got the Granola. It was fine--your typical yogurt, granola, and berries. It was tart, crunchy, and sweet--they provide a side of honey. I had half and gave the rest away because I wasn't hungry. Also ordered were the Bubble and Squeak and Fruit Pancakes. Oh my gosh, I had multiple bites of the Bubble and Squeak because it was so good! If I were hungrier I'd order this for myself. It's a delicious harmony of savory filling goodness. Loved the mashed potatoes and all the proteins. Highly recommend! Wild Cafe is an affordably delicious spot for all-day breakfast and brunch. Found on a corner in Bath off Queen Street, it's a must for yummy food!

Lady Marmalade I…read morewill start by saying that The Marmalade café is my favourite café in Bristol. Obviously it helps being just around the corner from home but at the same time the quality of food and friendly service are both excellent. Any good café can be judged by its breakfast and The Marmalade Café comes up trumps with high quality ingredients, cooked well for a cheap price. What more could you ask for? If you do order the cooked breakfast make sure you also ask for the veggie option of home made bubble and squeak to be added. This elevates the breakfast to another level. I now can't imagine ordering a breakfast without it. Apart form the breakfast the food is all great with interesting daily specials and cakes always available. Including homemade Marmalade of course. There is also a nice resident puppy called Doris who if you are lucky will say hello. Easily the best café in the Blackboy Hill area and I urge you to visit.

1 year later, this place is still awesome…read more Definitely hands-down the best breakfast place in Clifton. Their homemade marmalade is so good, I think about it throughout the year while I'm not in the UK. I'm not sure where they get their bacon, but it's absolutely killer. The anytime breakfast with a side of crumpets/marmalade with tea is about £8. You can't get a better deal than that for fresh, made-to-order food that's not greasy. I'm so glad this place has survived in an address that's historically had quite a bit of turnover.
