The shop stocks homemade and prepacked sandwiches, pastries, cakes and sausage rolls. All of these are hand made by the bakers in the morning and if you ask they will heat them up for you. The cakes are normally quite traditional with old favorites such as crumbles and swiss rolls. These come packaged up so you can keep them fresh at home for a few days. The staff are always friendly and the prices are very resonably for such good quality produce.

Then one morning I happended to be there quite early when they were baking that days cakes and breads and quiches and I have never smelt anything so good. Unless I had seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have beleived that such a small place would make everything from scratch! We now make sure we always get a cake when we pick up our coffee! They do takeaways but there is aslso a small seating area downstairs as well as upstairs. I had a chocolate rocky road sort of cake the other day and it was fab, it had almonds loads of chocolate and amaretto biscuits, mmmm, and it was huge! Bought a Farmhouse loaf, but did not try as it was the day before going home, a couple of Gingerbread Men for the kids of friends who where looking after the cats. I did try the shortcake, jam filled biscuits which were okay. Having said that will try next time visiting Relatives.
