My fam hosted a 20 person dinner party here on a Wednesday in October 2025. The ambiance and decor are lovely and spacious, especially the private area. Upscale, modern Greek design. Not many other parties were dining that night. All of the appetizers were great. My favorite was the Falafel -- the sauce has a bit of a kick to it. My mom's favorite is the Zucchini Chips. When asked for recs, the server reinforced the Chilean Sea Bass Risotto as the best dish. Several folks ordered this and said it was outstanding. Branzino also got rave reviews. HOWEVER. Both people who ordered the Red Snapper complained that it was overcooked and dry. Both people who ordered the Scallops said they were rubbery and so-so. I got the lamb chops which were just OK... I specified medium rare and there was zero pinkness :( Not sure we'll be back soon -- Greek Islands is another nearby spot with excellent options.

My family visited Ft Lauderdale on Thanksgiving and decided to have dinner. Beautiful clean light airy ambiance. Great service. Our server Valentino was friendly and efficient. We had a great family time!

Celebrated my hubby's milestone birthday at Thasos! We knew the food was good because we've ordered take out from them, but never dined in! The restaurant is so pretty inside! The décor & ambiance were just perfect! We went on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't busy & it was quiet! We could actually hear our own conversation! We had the lamb chops, with potatoes, & green beans, the zucchini chips, which came with tzatziki, & the spanakopita, which is a spinach pastry! Everything was so well seasoned, so no need to reach for the salt! Our server was attentive & gave good recommendations! We liked it so much, I inquired about holding an event there in one of their private rooms! Definitely check it out!

Long drive for me to meet up a friend for dinner, but she recommended it, so we gave it a swirl, and boy, did we pick well! Ambiance is a bit boxy, but you can't help it since the restaurant sits at an intersection and has its own parking lot, which is a plus. Inside is contemporary and well lit; however, it maintained a warm atmosphere. We sat at the bar for a drink, then had dinner at one of the booths. Bartender's mixology was on point and the food was really good. Food: The branzino was very special, and it really reminded me of home - I know this is a Greek restaurant and I am Italian, there are similarities. We also shared the roasted eggplant, very very good. Service was attentive and friendly - admittedly it seemed a slow night and it was a Wednesday so we had the staff's full attention. If in the area, I will definitely go back and try other menu items.

From the moment you pull up to the parking lot you know it must be pretty inside. Such a pretty place white and neutral colors with these beautiful wall size wood sculptures. You are greeted by George and his welcome is an introduction to a fabulous evening. The staff is so on point. These people don't miss a beat. We sat at the bar and the two bartenders were so attentive to us. Constant smiles were plentiful, the girls were delightful. As we sat there we watched them work as a team always taking care of the customers. They know their regulars and they were all treated as family. Sofia the owner is hands on. She was watching each plate as it went out and she made sure to say hello to her patrons. Lovely person. The food, OMG!!! We weren't sure what to expect as we have never been to a Greek restaurant. Everything we ate was so delicious our taste buds were awoken with the fabulous Mediterranean spices. The Greek Olive oil, so tasty. The Greek salad could have been my meal. I couldn't get enough of it. We had the braised short ribs and they didn't disappoint. I ate super slow. Make sure to leave room for dessert. We had the chocolate cake/mousse cake, fabulous. We will be back and plan to take friends. If you go on the weekend they have live music which adds to the entire experience. Absolutely a must visit. A new favorite. Thanks you guys for such a great dinning experience.

Like taking a trip to Santorini! The outside, the decor inside, all white and contemporary. There was live Greek music, the musician snuck in other middle eastern music, and their renditions of popular songs as well. We got the Zucchini chips, thinly sliced, battered, with an amazing garlic dip (may want to skip on kissing your significant other after that one, no regrets). The Greek salad was super fresh and my secret is the use the bread they bring on the table to soak up the juices of the Greek salad and eat it after. So good!! Also got the saganki, which came to the table on fire! Exciting presentation, and delicious. The main dish was branzino which came with lemon and capers. It could've used a bit more salt, but still tasty. And of course, I had to have their baklava for dessert! It was different, it had clove and cinnamon in it which gave it a nice spice. Came with a side of vanilla ice cream which complimented it nicely. The ambiance was fun, the service was great (attentive staff), and the food satisfied all my Greek cravings! Great for families, date night, friend outing, etc.

Calamari.

It's official, this place is amazing. My wife and I went back a second time last night. From the service to the drinks and their amazing food, once again everything was excellent. Started with a couple of their Cucumber Coolers and had the Octopus and Calamari as appetizers. The drink are so good. The Octopus just like last time was truly the best we ever had. The Calamari was perfectly cook. Tender with a light and flaky breading. The best part of everything so far is it tasted exactly like it did the first we went. There is nothing worse then going to a restaurant and expecting one thing and then the flavor is totally different. For dinner I had the Scallops and my wife had the Red Snapper. I will say my Scallop dish was so delicious. For my wife Red Snapper, hands down the best snapper dish we have ever tried. Super fresh and the seasonings they use and the how it's served is tremendous. We are already planning our next trip back. I'll say it again. By far the best Greek food we have had.

What a great atmosphere, loved the live music and the modern, relaxing decor. They have a great cocktail list. I had a blueberry bellini and my friend had an espresso martini, both were great. We did a lot of appetizers rather than entrees. They all were delicious! We had saganaki cheese, fresh bread with olive tapenade, green hummus with pita, brussel sprouts, grilled octopus. The service was good.

Variety of sweet treats!

Went there last night for dinner--what a great time! The vibe, decor, music and service were all great. Our party of 4 enjoyed some unique cocktails and a good bottle of Albariño. We shared some tasty small plates including grapes leaves, octopus fritters, keptedes & octopus salad. The only bland app was the calamari. We shared two entrees which were a very flavorful whole fish as well as lamp chops. The lamb chops were delicious. The blueberry yogurt cheesecake was great! We will be back.

For dinner, he got the honey chicken Sammy with sidewinder fries, and I went with the chimmichurri steak frites with curly fries... SO good. Everything came out piping hot, quickly, and you can tell the food and drinks are really thoughtfully crafted. What stood out most, though, was the customer service. The three main staff members Drew, Mel, and Darian (I think?) were incredible. Every single one of them went above and beyond for every guest the entire time. When we arrived, there were just a couple tables outside, but once it started raining, they seamlessly accommodated everyone inside without missing a beat. The vibe is such a cool mix, neighborhood spot meets speakeasy meets tiki with a slightly elevated feel, but still super comfortable. Everyone in the place seemed to know each other or quickly became friends. The music was great, and by 7:30 the live entertainment started, he was funny, engaging, and talented. We got there just in time to catch the tail end of happy hour for our first drink, and from there it just kept getting better. Drew, the bartender, even went out of his way to make me a specialty drink I had seen on Yelp that's no longer on the menu, such a thoughtful touch. By 7:30 on a Wednesday, the place was packed, which says everything. Exceptional service, amazing food, great drinks, and an all around fun, welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back.

The bar and restaurant itself has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I ordered the tuna appetizer, but unfortunately it just wasn't for me. To their credit, the staff handled it very professionally and took it back without any issue, which I appreciated. The rest of the table had a much better experience with their meals. The steak and salads especially got good reviews from everyone and looked very well prepared. Even though my dish missed the mark, the service and atmosphere were solid enough that I'd still consider giving eTwic another try in the future. Sometimes one item just doesn't hit, and there were definitely enough positives about the restaurant to make me curious to come back and try something different next time. Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. I can confidently say they delivered on one of those things, the experience. Unfortunately, the food felt like a failed attempt to escape... an escape room. Let's start with what absolutely works. The location is stunning. Truly breathtaking. The views are spectacular, the atmosphere is elegant, and the setting makes you feel like you have unlocked a premium level of Fort Lauderdale nightlife. The service is upscale and unhurried. No one rushes you, no one pressures you, and you are encouraged to linger and enjoy the moment. From a vibe perspective, you are winning. The drink menu is limited, but what they offer is top notch. Well crafted, balanced, and enjoyable. Think of the drinks as the first puzzle you solve successfully. Confidence is high at this point. Then the food arrives, and this is where the escape attempt starts to fall apart. We began with the bruschetta, which was absolutely dominated by balsamic. Not gently accented. Not thoughtfully drizzled. This was a full-scale balsamic ambush that completely overwhelmed the dish. Puzzle one failed. Next came the octopus. Perfectly cooked. Tender. Juicy. Textbook execution. Unfortunately, the flavor was nowhere to be found. Every bite was completely hijacked by the beans in the dish, leaving the octopus feeling like a background prop in its own plate. Puzzle two failed, morale dropping. Then came the calamari and mussels. Once again, the seafood was cooked properly, but flavor had clearly escaped through a hidden exit. Bland, forgettable, and confusing in how something prepared this well could taste like so little. Puzzle three failed, clock ticking. The fourth dish was the caprese salad, which somehow managed to swing in the opposite direction of the bruschetta. The tomatoes tasted like they were fresh from a grocery store shelf. The balsamic barely showed up this time, as if it had used up all its energy earlier. The mozzarella sat there watery and bland, contributing nothing and offering no clues. Final puzzle failed. Escape attempt unsuccessful. By the end of the meal, I felt like I had just spent two hours in an escape room where everything looked incredible, the staff was friendly, the room design was flawless, but none of the puzzles worked and you never actually escaped. Overall, Escape Rooftop Bar delivers breathtaking views, excellent service, and strong drinks. But the food turns the entire experience into a beautifully designed trap. When expectations are sky high and the kitchen cannot deliver, the disappointment hits harder. Two stars, awarded for the scenery, the cocktails, and the hope that one day the food finds the exit.
