Wow! These guys made an ex-smoker out of me. Their customer service is excellent. They all know what they're doing with these little e-cigarette things. They've mainly been a mystery to me, but they know how to strip 'em down, service them up, and get them glowing in no time. They offer a huge variety of different flavors to choose from, and you can spend all day going through the different flavors they have. They have all the different flavors made from different types of vaping material. They have the vegetable glycol and the propylene glycol varieties to choose from, for different cloud densities, and how hard it hits, and different nicotine levels. Their prices are quite reasonable. I did some research before I first went in, and their prices are quite similar to what you'd find online. They've always been quite helpful with servicing my e-cig, and have always been really nice about getting it going, and answering my hundreds of questions. read more

The service is awesome and they always are in stock for my coils. Their selection is great and the value and price is the best around!

My new source for vaping supplies!! I love this store. A nice selection of e-cigarettes as well as e liquids. The employees are so extremely helpful, I was having problems with an e-cigarette that I had purchased from one of their competitors. The coil was burning out way to quickly on me. Like two days use most and they should last 3 weeks. Seeing what I was using it was suggested that i just get a different tank that has replaceable coils instead of replacing everything. This has been working great for me. I'm glad I went here and was offered this option. I also got a bottle of e-liquid, Cafe Mocha. I was glad I was able to try it first before buying. That is a big help. I will be back and try some of the other flavors that are offered. read more

If I could give more stars I totally would!! I honestly couldn't say enough wonderful things about this place. Fist off I had been a smoker for about 6 years. I had quit only while pregnant and then started right back up again. I never really wanted to quite. My boyfriend had tried those blu cigs before but I never liked them myself. He showed up one day with this badass looking vaporizer that looked more like a space age pipe than an ecig. I was hesitant but I tried it. The flavor was amazing and smoking his vape actually didn't feel as awkward as it looked like it would and I haven't smoked a cigarette since!! We went that day to Thanks for Vaping and they showed me the different batteries, tanks ect. I was able to pick up a variable voltage battery, tank, charger, drip tip- the entire think for around $60!! They have a TON of flavored juices and even have a lil table to sit and try them out before you buy them. They have a couple couches... This place is just very laid back and the employees are so helpful in taking their time to explain everything to you and answer any questions you have. My lil extras... -if your trying to stop smoking or looking for a healthier alternative to smoking vaping truly does work!! Even if your a heavy smoker or a chain smoker like I was. -you may cough the first time you vape. Don't feel awkward or discouraged. Your throat is use to cigarettes and the 4000 chemicals in them and vaping is something new to your body. You won't cough up a lung don't worry!! - for an intense menthol I suggest sub zero. For a sweet cookie type flavor I suggest snicker doodle. For an all around amazing flavor there's tigers blood (taste like snow cone) and my newest flavor is sour watermelon. -get an app (or do your own math) to help you figure out how many cigarettes you haven't smoked and how much money you've saved stopping smoking. I've been vaping for 12 days and I've already surpassed breaking even money wise and I feel much much healthier. This place treats you like family... Worth going in an seeing for yourself!! read more

Alex provided excellent service and should get a raise I recommend this spot to shop from.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and the ONLY store in San Antonio that carries my favorite brand, 5 Pawns Castle Long. A great selection of juice as well. read more

Sold me expired juice with zero flavor left and refused to exchange it. Terrible business. Lost my business for good.

*wont be coming back* I drive from the other side of San Antonio just to get the custard monster butterscotch juice here. This past Friday I purchased this same juice I always buy & the First time I put it in my vape it had a HORRIBLE taste to it & just one hit from my vape and it was hurting my throat. I had to empty my vape & I assumed it was expired or something and when I came Monday to try and exchange it atleast, the owner/boss was called and said it wouldn't be expired & gave no options to exchange it for another or a different flavor either. I explained to the sales guy I can tell there's something wrong with it just by putting a drop on my finger and licking it. So I will definitely not be purchasing anything else from here again. I get the rule they all seem to have once you leave you can't bring it back but there's no way to know it's bad until you use it. And I'm sorry but $$ doesn't grow on trees for me so I'll spend it somewhere I won't get a juice that's OBVIOUSLY got something wrong with it. I realize there's ppl that could lie about this but flip side this is a great way from vape shops to make easy money selling bad juices knowing we will have to buy more. Well not from here I won't spend another dime! read more

They have no idea what they're talking about sold me a 50-50 blend and I have a sub home tank and they knew it, also the juice is more than a year expired and they charge me $25 for a 30 mill of juice, do not shop for Vape gear here or juice there are better options out there, also they did not charge me for tester so I think the FDA look into this read more

I've been to other vape stores, that have messed up on selling me batteries that were used.. But this store was a whole different feel and the person that helped me today was very helpful when it came to a juice selection and coil sale. Even bought some batteries from here that were FULLY charged and NEW. I will definitely be back to buy from this store! read more

I used to love this place. I had been going there since 2016. Over the last few years the customer service has taken a nose dive. While the staff seem quasi knowledgeable it is nowhere near what it used to be. Not to mention that most of the staff now seem quite unfriendly and unwilling to assist their customers. And over the years they have gotten more and more outrageous with their cost. They are way overpriced. I can buy the same ejuice and accessories online for a fraction of the cost if I am willing to wait a few days. And within the last year they even lowered their military discount. Just not worth it for the cost and service you receive. A lot of better places in the city to take your business. read more

The vaping trend is in full-force in San Antonio and these little shops are popping up everywhere. My husband is giving it a go to curb his pack-a-day habit and after a few recommendations from fellow Yelpers, I pointed him towards Thanks for Vaping 2. At first glance, these little machines are daunting but worry not, the employees here explain everything fully and you leave feeling like you're in-the-know. Tons of flavors to choose from and they're willing to let you sample as many as you'd like. To give you an idea on just how patient these guys are, an anecdote: Lady who looks like she could easily be on Desperate Housewives:Stone Oak walks in and yells, where are the ones with the Swarovski crystals?! The employee points her towards the tacky section and pulls out various options. She goes on to bi- I mean complain that they aren't shiny enough. Employee offers her a god-awful lanyard. Lady is happy AND the employee never rolled his eyes. Boom. So if you're tired of paying a shload of money on cigarettes, stinking up the joint with your smoky smell and balking about not being able to smoke indoors, check out Thanks for Vaping 2 and be prepared to taste food again! read more

This place has all your supplies, just like every other vale store in town. The distinguishing feature of this vape shop is the fantastic employees. They always take the time to educate and listen to your needs. Recently they've helped me with my new mod without making me feel like a moron. The vape world can be intimidating and it's nice to have someone to dumb it down for me. They've also fixed my mod when I've dropped it and it came apart. They give great customer service and I'm happy to be a repeat customer here. read more

I've only visited the store once. They have a good selection of e-liquids and I was pleased to find a taste testing table for those who are looking for new flavors. They also have a descent selection of devices and equipment. The only problem I had was I was sold the wrong atomizers for my device which was a bit of an inconvenience due to the driving distance to the store from my home. I might visit this store for future purchases. The prices are equal to prices I've found on various vaping websites. UPDATE: I decided to use the atomizers with the correct clearomizer and they both died within a couple of days of use. read more

This place was awesome today! Went in hoping they still had a juice that was discontinued and they did. To get it to the level I needed they used a Bogo sale and combined two into a mother bottle and even had a much better drip tip I was looking for! All of that was less than what 1 bottle would have normally cost! THANK YOU read more

Bought two Spinner II last week with one not working at all and the other only staying charged for 3 hr! Went to return items and get something different. Even though I had receipt they wouldn't return because the one was not in a box! Ridiculous. Too many vaping options to deal with this. Thanks for Vaping has lost a 4 yr customer! read more

Hands down the best vape store in town. It's like a 2nd home. I love the people, and they take care of you

First time in this location. I must say the variety is definitely up to date but what makes it better is the staff. They had a great deal of knowledge and took into consideration that I was trying to quit smoking. They didn't push upgraded products or products I didn't need. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Thanks for vaping on San pedro is the best place to find RDAs RTAs and juices. The friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you with anything from different gauge wires to helping you build coils and explaining the difference between PG and Vg. Thanks for vaping has their own line of juices that cover a wide variety of flavors such as rich tobacco flavors to fruity flavors like tigers blood. I've been to many other vape shops in San Antonio but I can honestly say that thanks for vaping is the best. read more

Thanks For Vaping - Epic - Vape Shops Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

My mother has been going to Thanks for Vaping for several years at least once to twice a week. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and would greet her at the door this week she went in and was not greeted as she opened the door. she went up to the counter and still was not greeted. she requested what she wanted and it was handed to her without the employee speaking at all. She asked a question and was advised that staff is not allowed to have a conversation with any customer. The questions she was asking was related to her Vape. The employee would only look at her she finally told him that if she asked a specific question that he should answer her and that he should not be fired for asking a question it is ridiculous for staff to treat someone in this manner. My mother has stated that if this is the type of service she will be receiving she will no longer be shopping from this store. read more

Had a broken tank and needed a new coil... a guy and girl staff was very helpful and friendly. Even got some good advice on priming and not filling tank more than halfway. Thanks! read more

If a person hasn't ever been to a Vape Shop that has great prices, atmosphere, and service Thanks For Vaping will seem ok. I've been vaping for a long time, and was made to feel like I was bothering the sales person when I asked questions. Many of their samples were empty, too. Again, the salesman huffed when I told him I'd like to sample something that needed filling. Texas is a friendly city, but the vaping lounge had a cold, hurry up and leave feel. But the prices are outrageous! I can buy two 30ml bottles of Ejuice and a box of coils elsewhere for what they ask for just one bottle of Ejuice. They are constantly out of stock on many items, and I won't go back. They aren't the only game in town anymore, and people will see their ridiculous prices compared to Vapalicious. I buy online now and pay a fraction of what Thanks for Vaping charges. Their Ejuice line is very average, too. read more

Visited Thanks for Vaping 2 with the intention to stop drawing on the old coffin nail after 17 years! I was completely surprised by the professionalism and knowledge of staff! After briefly explaining that I was a complete newbie to vaping I was given a full description of my options...but not only with devices I can use to help with cravings but also the endless amounts of flavors I could choose from. After testing 7 similar flavors I decided to stick with 1. After walking out of the shop I have been smoke-free for 4 full weeks. I'm so delighted with my decision and finding Thanks for Vaping 2. You guys rock! read more

Krystal was very helpful she took her time to explain any questions I had and even gave us plenty of options for a great deal. Ask for Krystal and you'll be helped right away and with professionalism. read more

This place is alright. I always felt like they could be a tad more welcoming to brand new vapers. I asked a ton of dumb questions at another vape shop on Embassy Oaks (Monster Vape) when I first started vaping and the girls there were super helpful, patient and informative. They were up for creating new vapers in the world. You'd assume a place that is called Thanks For Vaping would be all about furthering the non-smoking/vaping community--I have talked to other people who felt this way too about this shop. read more

Like the previous reviewer, I wish I had the option to give more than 5 stars! I've referred several friends to TFV. Their customer service can't be beat. If you're new to vaping, or just considering it, don't go anywhere else! The staff at TFV will treat you well, teach you what you need to know, never engage in hard-sell tactics, never make you feel like an idiot...could go on & on but won't. Thank you, Thanks for Vaping, for making up for how other local e-cig stores have treated me :) read more

A coworker recommended I try vaping with high praise of this particular store. When I first visited, I was surprised of the professionalism and the fact that anyone can "taste test" from countless of e-juices. Don't know what your looking for? Ask and they'll make accurate recommendations based on your questions. Now, I vape and only shop at Thanks for Vaping. My favorite tank is the CC 2.4 Clearo ($6). My favorite e-juices are Siberian Fireball ($20) and Cosmonaut ($22). Very fair prices (compared to the local competitors that charge double) read more

I've been to several vape stores in San Antonio recently. They were all so-so. This store was AWESOME! I recommend this store to both the experienced and newbie e-cig people. I had a great customer experience and was welcomed with no judgement. I had my e-cig I bought elsewhere but was not pressed to buy anything from them...they simply had easy mod recommendations to make what I had function better! They have a HUGE selection of e-liquid and I even found one in a lower mg than I use that was way more satisfying! Please stop by and see these guys! They rock! read more

It's still there!!!! After being gone for almost 2 years it was so awesome to go in and be greeted by the most awesome Zach with a hug!!! I am very impressed with this store. They have taken me from vaping novice to drip mod professional. They are incredibly nice and will answer any questions you have. I went in to buy a drip mod set-up yesterday and they were honest about the quality, never trying to upsell me. They sold me exactly what was needed. Then, He customized my mod by drilling a whole to increase vapor, and sat me down and showed me how to build a coil at no additional charge for either service. This is a store full of great people who's only goal is to make their customers happy. I wish there were more businesses with this philosophy out there. Their prices and selection are the best in town. If you want an awesome experience with honest, knowledgeable employees and great selection, This is the place for you! Keep up the great work Thanks For Vaping! read more
