I happened upon this place because I had a Groupon. My only real issue was the scheduling. It seems that the lady who accepts Groupons here is Demi and she's definitely the only one there Sundays. Weekend appointments are really hard to get, I had to book 3-4 weeks out. When I arrived, Demi was finishing up a pedicure client, so I waited an additional 20 minutes or so. I wasn't in a huge rush, but I can see that might be an issue if you're on your way to another appointment. She did a very quick, yet thorough job on my nail dip set, so I am very happy. Her technique was a tad rough as I felt my cuticles hurt a bit afterwards. All in all, the pricing is right and I would return. read more

Came in for the first time today for a highlight and haircut with Amanda. The salon is easy to find in Rocklin, right next to the Safeway. Lots of parking. Bright and cheerful salon. It's always hard to go to a new hairdresser.... But Amanda went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I got chunky high/low lights and a soft bob haircut. She styled it perfectly too. In and out in two hours - which is a bonus. She was easy to talk to and made the experience fun while being very professional. She is a great stylist and LISTENED to exactly what I wanted. Came for a mani/pedi. First impression was this is a hair salon and nails are not their specialty. I was greeted by a woman who let the other specialist know I was here, she came out with a 'you're lucky I'm here' attitude, no smiling at all - very awkward. No greeting at all. This place is worse than Round Table with all of their little hidden charges. Charged a fee to remove my polish. Attempted to charge an extra fee a color I wanted, for not even a premium color. I was looking for a new salon and genuinely happy to have found this place but won't be back as any woman knows there is no greater relaxing time like getting your nails done but this was stressful. We literally didn't say one word to each other the whole time, I just wanted to get out of there. The pedi was also super weird, it appears they have a black bucket on top of a little crate, unconventional but willing to try anything once, at least it vibrated. The quality of both mani and pedi was excellent, but the rapport just wasn't there. The water in the pedicure did get cold quickly not even halfway through the procedure. While she did offer to add more hot water, the black bucket was not appealing to me. Since the black bucket was not connected to the chair and I'm 6 months pregnant with super human strength I kept pushing her chair accidentally to where she would scoot back. I had to pretty much hold pressure off my feet to not move the crate pushing her chair backwards :/ read more

Purchased a gel manicure and pedicure from Groupon for this place. Before starting, the nail tech told me there was a $5 up charge for the gel...? I went along with it and then she tried to sell me a dip at another $15 over the gel, which I declined. While her polish is good, I only received a minimal hand massage. The pedicure is done in a separate bucket and is not as nice as most salons. I cannot recommend this place based on the upcharges. Her normal price for a gel pedicure is $30, unless you get upcharged! read more

I have been to this salon twice now, seeing Taylor. The first appointment was at 10am and I was her first client-she walked in late, said she's be right there and told me to take a seat and then didn't start until 10:30!! Then finally she comes out and starts with a YOGURT in her hand, eating while she does my hair. I told her that I wanted to do the promotional trim and highlights that was on THEIR website. So half way through doing my hair she says that with Groupon deals you only so many foils...and I said I'm not doing Groupon, I'm doing THE COMPANY'S promotion- it was on your website. Then she talked to the owner and was like oh are we doing this. And the owner was like, well it's the STARTING price. At this point I was like what ever. I'm already half way into this. So the rest of the appointment went as expected until the end when some of my hair came out with an orange tint and she missed a whole chunk of hair on the back of my head!! I decided to go back and have her fix it along with a root touch up a few months later. At this second appointment she AGAIN STARTED 40 MINUTES LATE!!! And I told her this time that it had to be quick because I have other responsibilities, I can't be at the salon for 4 hours. Still, didn't mater...she was just chatting away in the back, always on her phone throughout the whole appointment. So half way through this appointment she orders In-N-Out and when it arrives she says she needs to mix more bleach and goes to the back and starts eating her mustard covered burger and pickled covered fries! I had to get one of her co workers to get her to finish my hair!!!!! Then for the rest of that appointment I'm smelling pickles and mustard so since she took SO LONG she didn't even get to tone my hair long enough and the colors didn't turn out right. She said I could come back and have her fix anything I was unhappy with----sorry I don't have time for that. Never again will I go here! read more

Just went here for my back to school maintenance Paige did an incredible job with my hair. My highlights look so natural, not chunky like some places. My haircut was perfect and she even made a suggestion to add more volume to my hair which really helped. Shanel gave me an amazing facial. The room was so luxurious and relaxing. NO..NO..NO.. Went in for a Brazilian blowout on 2/7/20. They had a special on their website. Peggy was the one who had did my hair. Everything seemed to go ok. I was surprised that it didn't take very long and that the usual blowout smell and watering of the eyes didn't happen. I have a Brazilian blowout once every year. My hair is thick and long so it usually takes awhile to do the whole process. I usually have to pay extra for the length of my hair as well so I was happy I didn't have to. I even mentioned to her how surprised I was that none of those seemed to be an issue. Well once I washed my hair 3 days later I noticed my hair didn't take at all. It was still really frizzy, fluffy. The reason I get the Brazilian blowouts in the first place. I called to let Peggy know what happened. Didn't get any response. I called several times for the next few weeks and still no reply from Peggy. Finally I got ahold of someone else from the salon and they gave me her direct # which I called right away. No response. After another week and a half goes by of leaving messages finally Peggy texts me saying she has been out of town and that she can look at my hair and scheduled an appt. on 3/12/20. Before the appt. I was called by someone at the salon to reschedule because Peggy wasn't available on that day. Once more I tried and tried to get ahold of someone to reschedule. Finally someone after another week called to say that no appts. were being made at that time because of covid-19. In the meantime not once did I get a message from Peggy or anyone saying they would correct the issue. *Update... I get a phone call end of May saying the salon will be open June 1st and that if I wanted to get a Brazilian blowout they are taking appts. Soooo I call thinking cool they didn't forget about this issue... Nope no such luck. I explained about what happened and i that it was never fixed and I had never even gotten a call to discuss the issue. I was given Peggy's # once more to talk to her about it. Again nothing.. I finally called the office and left a message telling them that this was very unprofessional and I was pretty upset about how it was handled. No response. 2 weeks later I get a text message from Peggy saying she has been messaging the wrong # and that she just got back from out of town. Asking if either July 10th or 11th would be a good day. This message was on 6/22/20. I responded back telling her either of those days would be fine and that it was for the Brazilian blowout that didn't take on 2/7/20. I still havn't gotten a reply. Basically I wasted a whole lot of time and money with this place. I will never go back and no one should have to call this many times to have a issue resolved. If Peggy was out of town then the salon should have had someone else look at my hair and see if something could have been done. It is ridiculous that it takes this long to have anyone return a phone call. Not one person called directly to address the issue. Poor service, Communication, and Quality. I would have given it less than one star if I could. read more

I purchased a groupon for a Gel Manicure AND Pedicure. I made my appointment and was excited to go in. The Salon is clean and decorated well. Demi the nail technician was very friendly . Upon arrival I gave her the groupon and she tells me that "they" changed it and my purchase was not good for a gel manicure and pedicure. Only a gel manicure and a classic pedicure. Hmmmmm. Not what I purchased. But for an additional 15.00 I can get a gel pedicure. Demi did a great job on my hands. Great manicure. While she was working on my hands I was looking around and do not see any kind of pedicure chair. Again, hmmmmm. When it was time for the pedicure I was directed to a chair to sit in. The back did not set up fully. I had to have a pillow behind me. Then the nail tech brought out a bucket/pan of water ! Lukewarm to say the least. This was then set on some sort of vibrating type block. Just weird. Demi did a good pedicure. I was disappointed as my groupon was not honored as purchased. Not comfy like most nail salons. Prices were higher too than neighboring salons. Probably will not return. read more

The salon is beautiful. The location is perfect for access and parking. And my stylist Amy was absolutely the best! She gave me the Brazilian Blowout and was extremely meticulous and caring. She did not rush through it and had her job cut out for her with my long frizzy hair. The result was amazing! And Amy is as sweet as can be! I love my hair! I gave this place a try after reading the reviews both on Groupon and on yelp. I recently moved and needed a more local hair stylist so so gave them try. I purchased the Groupon for an all over color and cut, great deal especially for a first time customer. Setting up the appointment over the phone was easy. I showed up and the stylist was not there yet but they checked me in, I was a little early so no issues there. She arrived about 10-15minutes after my appointment start time but in the meantime another client shows ups. I guess the originally stylist my appointment was with changed things and now I had a different stylist(no issue) except that the client who came in after me also had the same stylist. Because my appointment required more, when she arrived she started with the other person. Over an hour after my appointment she started my hair, if I wasn't in desperate need for a hair cut I would have left. My cut is fine and I liked the color she picked however there are spots missing and you can see pieces of blonde not covered by the brunette. read more
