It overall was a wonderful experience. The second experience was me and by favorite friend coming in for facials and relaxation time. We started in the lounge and after completing the questionaire were put into robes and slippers and had time in the salt room. This room was just lovely! There was aromatherapy, a tarot card pull and reading, singing/sound bowl and then we were left to simply relax and meditate together. It was hands down the best pre-service experiences we've had in any spa, and we have been to A LOT of spas. Then we both had our facials. My esti was calm, assuring, and educated. Her touch was amazing and the recommended service items were delivered perfectly. After the service apple cinnamon infused water and dark chocolate dipped pineapples were provided and we were advised we could go back into the loung and relax for as long as we wanted before leaving. My friends facial was also superb. The front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. The boutique itself had nice selections for purchase. Will definately be back!

When my daughter and I walked in, we noticed a beach scene painted on the walls. We sat on the couch while the receptionist finished a transaction with another customer. After a few minutes, we were called back and shown the changing room. We were able to change and safely store our clothes and purses in lockers that only we had the key to. We were given clean robes and slippers, then directed to the relaxation room to wait for our couples "Perfect Time Out for 2" spa package in a private suite. The package includes either a 30-minute aromatherapy sauna or a 30-minute hydrotherapy bath, followed by a 60-minute combination massage. The combination massage uses both light and medium pressure and is meant to ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote lasting relaxation. We only sat in the relaxation room for a few moments before our massage therapists told us that our private suite was ready. When we walked in, the room was dark and lit with battery-operated candles. It smelled wonderful, and soothing music was playing. There was also a television mounted in the corner, which I didn't feel was necessary in such a relaxing environment. We began with the hydrotherapy bath. The bath normally includes almond oil, but because one of us has a mild almond allergy, they substituted bath salts and other wonderfully scented oils instead. The tub had jets that we could turn on, and it was very relaxing. After 30 minutes, our massage therapists let us know it was time to move to the tables for our 60-minute massages. We got down to our birthday suits and slipped underneath the sheets. Penny was my massage therapist, and my daughter had Remni. Penny did massage my entire body, but it felt more like she was rubbing my skin rather than working the muscles underneath. Honestly, I have had better 30-minute massages at the mall and during pedicures. However, I did appreciate the stretches and the relaxing oil rubdown.... sort of. I really wanted my muscles to be rubbed, but we never got there. My daughter, on the other hand, said her massage was amazing. Ugh--that's what I wanted! I'm glad she enjoyed herself. She said she would definitely go back. I would consider returning too, but I would want a different massage therapist next time. Throughout our visit, we were offered complimentary beverages. After our massages, we sat in the relaxation room, where I enjoyed a glass of red wine. Once I finished, we returned to the changing room. There was also a shower available if we wanted to rinse off before getting dressed. My daughter and I changed and headed to the front to take care of the bill. I was able to use a gift card given to me by someone I used to know, so thanks, buddy! Overall, the private suite and hydrotherapy bath were relaxing, the atmosphere was soothing, and my daughter absolutely loved her massage. My experience was a little more mixed, but I would still be open to returning and trying someone else. I felt like the massage part of the package was a very important part, and it unfortunately fell short, so I did let the front desk know. And please, don't forget to tip!

I arrived early for my scheduled appointment and even brought a belated birthday gift for the owner, Kaera Anazalone. I explained that I had recently recovered from an illness, was cleared by my doctor, and had tested negative for COVID and flu more than a week earlier. Despite being transparent and cleared as non-contagious, I was treated with visible discomfort and suspicion. Kaera informed me that the session couldn't continue unless I agreed to conditions that made me feel uncomfortable in what is supposed to be a relaxing, safe environment. She even stated that she would "just get it over with because [she] needed the money," which was incredibly unprofessional. When I said I was no longer comfortable proceeding, I was denied a refund or credit for my prepaid $139 session, even though no service was provided. I tried to resolve the matter calmly and respectfully, but was met with rudeness, manipulation, and eventually told I was no longer welcome as a client. For a wellness business, this was shocking behavior. I have since filed disputes with my credit card company, the BBB, and the California Massage Therapy Council. I'm sharing this review to make others aware of how this spa treats loyal clients and how poorly it handles customer care and ethics. Additionally, for a business that claims to be a "wellness spa," having a dog in treatment rooms shedding hair is extremely unsanitary and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.
