Mixed Seafood Pad See Ew

I was craving Thai food, but I was sad to see there wasn't anything open, but I came across this place and saw that it's open until 2am. Safe to say this place was worth it! The Wonton Soup was simple but really hit the spot and the Seafood Pad See Ew was what my cravings were looking for. Ken recommended the Thai Tea instead of the Thai Green Tea, because it's less sweet and I got that with boba. It had the right amount of sweetness, so thank you Ken and for your service, you made my night! The restaurant was clean with some customers and a lot people ordering takeout. Modern music covers in the style of low-fi music was playing and it just made me enjoy this experience even more. It has a really cozy feel and this quickly became a favorite spot! I look forward to coming back and thank you again to all the workers for your hard work!

I wrote a review a few years ago and still to this day, Thai Wave remains the best Thai food in Hb! They consistently offer amazing flavor and quality. Service is exceptional! We had the privilege of having Pim be our server the last few times we dined in. She is always very nice and attentive. They stream baseball game on their big screens and possibly basketball when in season. They have happy hour deals on food and drinks and they're NOW oPEN until 2am! Dine-in closes at 1:30 but takeout orders until 2. Lots of pescatarian and vegetarian option! Support small and local! :)

Celebrated the 4th of July and made a pit stop here before the day's boozing. I can always eat Thai food! We used to come here years ago when we lived in Huntington Beach and forgot how authentic this place is.

Ordered takeout so cannot comment on the ambience and service. Got the pad see ew ($16) which tasted standard. A little salty but the portion was generous.

Love this little place. Super cute inside and try to go here whenever I'm in the area. Service is always friendly and attentive and they treat you like a regular. Food is amazing... they have best spicy eggplant and pretty much everything is delicious. Generous servings for price. Very kid friendly. Always my fave place.

Ken & Nattalie are such amazing people. Nattalie always remembers what I like and has fresh chile fish sauce waiting for me. Recently we had them cater our staff holiday party and everything came out fresh, delicious and amazing. We ordered: chicken satay which is a must get with their cucumber relish. Sweet, salty and healthy because they use chicken breast. Potstickers which is lightly seared and steamed and has a house made soy sauce. Crispy shrimp wraps which has a whole shrimp in it fried with a egg roll wrapper and a sweet and sour sauce. Crowed favorite Thai fried rice with chicken. Has lots of veggies and flavor Pad thai which is my absolute favorite. Sweet and sour with the added lime so amazing I get this here everytime. Chow mein was our staffs favorite noodle dish. Lots of noodles and veggies with soy base. We opted for no meat but it was so good it didn't need it. Thai bbq chicken i like how they used all cuts of chicken. My husband like white meat but I like dark meat. It was the best of both dark and white meat. The orange chicken was very crispy and flavorful you can taste the real orange juice not the rake tasting oj. The dish stayed crispy for over 4 hours. King oyster with beef is like their beef and broccoli. Very tender beef and fresh broccoli. My biggest irritated is over cooked veggies. This was not at all. Lots of garlic with soy sauce. Never skip on their fried bananas and mango sticky rice! Thank you thai wave for making our staff party amazing! And my lunch visits like I'm part of the family!

Sticky Rice with Mango

Late-night cravings cured -- thanks to Pim and the delicious food! Came here late at night and was so happy they were open! Our server Pim was amazing -- super attentive, friendly, and really made us feel welcome. The food was incredible. The papaya salad was so fresh and had the perfect crunch, the pad thai and pad see ew were both packed with flavor, and the mango sticky rice was delicious (I personally would have preferred it without the sesame seeds, but still so good). Overall, everything hit the spot and Pim's service made the whole experience even better. Can't wait to come back!

The outside had a slightly charred, smoky flavor, while the meat inside was juicy, tender, and a little chewy in the best way. Rich in flavor without being too greasy. The Tom Yum Noodles were so comforting and full of flavor. The broth had that classic Thai combination of sour, spicy, and savory, with a nice citrusy kick. The Papaya Salad was super refreshing. I loved the crunchy texture of the shredded green papaya, mixed with tangy lime, savory seasoning, and just enough spice. It was light, crisp, and balanced the richer dishes perfectly. The Pad Thai with chicken was delicious too. The noodles were soft with a nice bite, coated in a slightly sweet, savory, and tangy sauce. The chicken was tender, and the whole dish was very comforting. The Hor-Mok Ta-Lay was probably the most memorable dish. It was served inside a coconut, which was so cute and such a fun presentation! Inside were shrimp and scallops in a rich, creamy curry. The texture was silky and almost custard-like, with deep coconut flavor and lots of seafood sweetness. We also ordered a side of Roti, and this was a must! The outside was lightly crispy and flaky, while the inside stayed soft and chewy. Dipping the warm roti into the creamy curry was SO good. We finished with Mango Sticky Rice, and it was the perfect ending. The mango was sweet and juicy, the sticky rice was soft and chewy, and the coconut sauce added a creamy, slightly salty balance. Another big plus: they also offer a vegan menu, so there are great options for people who prefer plant-based dishes. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the whole meal was enjoyable from start to finish. Free parking was also a plus!

The sauce that came with it was amazing and complemented the meat perfectly. We also tried the green curry with chicken, and it was SO good! Rich, flavorful, and really satisfying. The presentation of everything was beautiful as well. You can tell they put effort into both the food and how it's served. Great food, great flavors, and a great overall experience. Definitely coming back!

The restaurant itself is just as amazing as the food! Cute, fun, colorful and full of personality, from the wall decor to the gorgeous and absolutely delicious cocktails. And the hospitality?! 10/10. Everyone was so warm, friendly and accommodating. Plus, if you're lucky, you might even get a surprise visit from Mama herself! I love Thai food and have tried so many different spots but I have to say... I think I just found my new favorite! The Chinese broccoli dish with crispy pork belly was just ok. Probably would not order that again, not because there was anything necessarily wrong with the dish but compared to the other dishes we had. We sat at the bar and service was average. When we finished eating we sat around for a long time and no one came up to us to ask if we wanted dessert or to clear our dishes. We also had to grab someone's attention to get the check and it took awhile for them to come back and process the payment. I would love to come back and try their khao soi as it's one of my favorite dishes.

This Thai restaurant caught our eyes with its authentic-looking dishes, and it turned out to be an easy find with a little help from GPS. The restaurant isn't big, but it's clean and well kept. The wall decor is beautiful and actually gives you some interesting information about what they serve. There are a handful of tables, and it's a self-serve setup: you order at the counter, grab a table, and they bring the food over to you. There are quite a few choices on the menu, but we kept it simple with just two dishes since we're really not big eaters. We ordered the Pad See Ew and Chicken Satay (the appetizer, not the bowl). Both had distinctive Thai seasonings and plenty of flavor. The chicken satay was especially good: very tender and definitely not dry, which can sometimes be a gamble with chicken. After a long day of youth event, this was exactly the kind of refreshing meal option we were looking for. Authentic Thai flavors, reasonable prices, and a casual little space that gets the job done. A good option if you live in the area or happen to be passing through.
