Tha local Thai place surprisingly was delicious! Very authentic flavor! Got crying tiger and the sauce was different but so many flavors. New Thai spot that we will be back to!

My go to Thai spot near the Harbour. It's a small restaurant with about 10 tables. I've only ordered my food to go. It's usually ready in 15-20 min, and they send a text when the food is ready for pickup. It's always the same lady upfront that rings me up. Very nice. I've tried many items on the menu. My favs are the Chicken Tom Kha, garlic rice, and spicy eggplant with beef. The Tom Kha had a good amount of chicken and the soup had the perfect amount of coconut and flavor. The garlic rice was beyond amazing. My whole family approved, and we can't get enough of it. Definitely worth the up charge. I'm not much of an eggplant person but the way they cook it here is amazing. It isn't too spicy either. I've tried their Pad See Ew, Orange Chicken, Salmon, curries, Pad Thai, and others. The Orange Chicken is a hit or miss. You have to eat it right when you get it, otherwise it's soggy. They don't poke a hole in their togo container so the Orange Chicken could get mushy. The salmon with curry sauce is delicious. Usually you can tell how good a Thai place is by their Pad Thai, but it hasn't been my favorite. It's a hit or miss sometimes too, but I still come back to this place because their other items are so tasty.

    "Chicken filled" won tons

Ordered the 'chicken filled' wontons. What a waste of $9.50! The menu says they're filled with ground chicken. There was a little grey smear in each one (see photo). I called the restaurant and they said they're supposed to be empty like that. Other food was good. The won tons went in the trash

Chicken Pad Thai - large portion! Had to take some home.

This is a small local Thai restaurant that serves delicious food. We typically order take out or delivery from here, but I came here over the weekend to sit inside for dinner and the service was great. I got their chicken satay with peanut sauce, egg rolls w/ chicken and chicken pad thai. All of their items were delicious. My dad ordered the pad thai with shrimp. Prices are very reasonable as well. 2 meals + 2 appetizers was $50 + tip. Mind you, my dad and I could not finish our pad thai and took boxes to go. Portions are big!

Went in right before the were closing after lunch. The lunch menu I was able to order from to go. They do have a dining room that seats around 40 people and they reopen at 4pm for dinner. The lunch menu averages around $10 and the do offer a selection of Thai Lagers. The woman that took my order was really nice and my order came out quickly. I ordered the Spicy Eggplant and it wasn't that Spicy. It might have been better kid they gave me a heat scale to order or if I dined indoors. I noticed on the tables they had spice condiments. On my next visit I will dine indoors for the full experience.

Yellow Curry with tofu and veggies

Affordable, delicious Thai food with lots of vegan options! We have tired yellow curry, green curry, Spicy Thai Basil, and Thai Cashew Nut all with tofu. All of these entrees are delicious! We love the veggie egg rolls so delicious as well! The flavor is really good and I like that they cut their tofu different in the curries vs other dishes. Great for vegan, vegetarian or meat eaters. The menu has lots of variety and I can't wait to eat there again! The location is easy to find and there is lots of parking. Lots of people were picking up takeout and this last time, on a Sunday night was very busy with 2-3 larger families visiting.

The restaurant is in a great location with plenty of parking, making it an easy place to visit. Inside, it was clean, bright, and welcoming. We were seated right away, but unfortunately, the service got off to a slow start. No one came by to take our drink order, and we eventually had to wave someone down to get things moving. Once our server came over, though, everything turned around. Here's what we ordered: - Mango Salad - fresh, flavorful, and I loved that it came with lettuce for extra crunch. - Massaman Curry - on the lighter side than I'm used to, but the curry flavor was absolutely on point. - Pad See Ew - Eggplant - Summer Rolls - Sticky Rice - Lychee Tea - refreshing, delicious, and the perfect drink to pair with the meal. Every dish we ordered was excellent. It's always a great sign when you order several items and every single one delivers. The flavors were authentic, well balanced, and made me wish I had room to order even more. Despite the slow start with the service, the quality of the food more than made up for it. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Orange County. 10/10, highly recommended if you're craving great Thai food!

I came in to pick up my order as soon as toast said it was "likely done". Tofu was soggy, and portion was small. Likewise, the pad see ew was composed of noodles that fell apart upon any attempt to pick them up, the veggies were undercooked, egg pieces were next to nothing, and the flavor was overall lacking. For $35 with tip, I was disappointed by all means. What I ordered was unfortunately mediocre at best - I won't be returning.

That usually is a good sign and indeed it was. We were seated promptly as we had Md called in for reservation's. The tables are small and we placed three together. We were given water immediately plus we ordered Thai teas which were promptly served. The owner was our server and promptly took out individual orders consisting of two shared orders of chicken satay. We ordered seafood tom yum soup plus Pad See Ew, one shrimp Pad Thai, two chicken Pad Thai's, Pineapple fried rice. For each order we were asked what spice lever 1-5 we would like. I ordered my pai at a (12)twelve. I also asked for what for me is Sine qua non, that being nam pla prik which was served ice cold from a refrigerator. The only real criticism I have would be that the main entrees were brought to the table before the soup. The satays were served first and I'd say that the chicken texture was more or less that of a thin processed chicken tender. The satay came with a small bit of cucumber and onion side slobs with a I presume was a peanut sauce. The portions were huge, the amount of shrimp, muscles, fish and what seemed to be scallops was more than adequate and very good. I really enjoyed my chicken Pad Thai but could only finish half , much to my chagrin. My Granddaughter commented favorably about her pins pole fried rice and the eldest of my two Grandson's literally devoured every morsel of his chicken Pad Thai. Of course my other grandson ordered Shrimp pad Thai and gave me his shrimp and stated that he doesn't like shrimp? De gustibus non est disputandum? Go figure! The owners service was great and very attentive. The food was very good with only a slight reservation. We were planning to top off the meal with a shared serving of the traditional Khao Niao Mamuang (Sticky Rice and Mango) but we were all satiated to the MAX! Maybe next time. There are more modern looking restaurants with table cloths and ambiance but the charm of the small intimate eatery wasn't lost at Orange Thai. The family enjoyed the meal and my son and I enjoyed the Father's Day experience at Orange Thai.

We also tried their new menu item, Thai Basil Eggplant. It comes with ground chicken, bell peppers, onions, and jasmine white rice.
