This food never disappoints. Chicken pad woon sen is by far my favorite, but the maseman and Panang curry are wonderful too. The dine in experience is bit lacking, lunch hour is very busy, seating limited and wait staff although friendly can sometimes be unattentive. read more

Second time we visited this restaurant and just like the first time the food was good, but service was nonexistent. Once we finally got served, the servers look unhappy, seemed in a hurry and could care less. We received our check before we were done with dinner, and though we wanted to try some of the desserts decided it wasn't worth it. We had enough of this place! read more

One of the better Thai places in DFW and definitely my favorite in South Fort Worth. The service can be a bit slow but the food more than makes up for it! They aren't afraid to make it spicy either . Love their pad ke mow and thom yum goong in particular! read more

Good food but service was awful, my friend cleared her throat to get the attention of the waiter and no one even looked up, I even said she's got a peanut allergy (just to see if we got a reaction) nothing he was playing on his phone and wouldn't even bring us our check. Bad service read more

WARNING : 06/03/16 i just ordered tonight a red curry for $9.95 and a black pepper beef for $9.95 as they advertise on their website menu but was charged $11.50!!! I called to be told that the menu on website is old and needs to be removed!!! Well , yes i think so too!!! read more

It has consistently been the worst service I've experienced anywhere. I have given this place numerous chances to redeem themselves but they have failed each and every time to improve. The staff is not very affable or attentive. It seems that refilling beverages is a chore for most of the them and I have refilled my own on many occasions. I also have to chase someone down to get a check and to pay it as well. And don't try to sit in the adjacent dining area of the restaurant. They don't seem to like anyone sitting in there. Sometimes they wont even acknowledge that you are waiting to be seated. They will cram as many people as they have chairs into the first dining room with no regard for patrons comfort. They would probably sit people on each others laps if one would allow it. I have seen comments that Thai select has "the best" spring rolls. They are by far the worst I have ever had. Most grocery stores have better quality spring rolls than this place. I am not exaggerating. read more

Beautiful setting in the midst of a quaint town, alongside the setting Texas sun, this is one of the most delectable Thai places I have come to enjoy in Fort Worth. With splendid service from friendly people, and a relaxing atmosphere, I'd put it as one of the top ten Thai restaurants in Fort Worth. The peanut sauce I truly recommend is something to try if not allergic. That or honestly anything with noodles. They are at there best with noodle based dishes. read more

Went in to order two boba teas to go and was treated like dirt. Told me they couldn't make them how I asked like they did last time and served other people before me with teas. Made me wait 20mins and had nothing. Don't go here if you're a young woman they ignore you and won't serve you at all. read more

I just went to Thai Select and picked up a take out order for Pad Pak with Tofu for lunch. When I returned to my office to eat, I discovered that there was no tofu. I called to rectify the situation and was asked if I could hold, then they hung up on me after about 8 minutes of holding. Further, when I eat lunch in the restaurant, I receive salad and a spring roll, and have received these for take out lunch orders in the past. This time, I was told that salad and spring roll are not included for lunch portions. The level of service is declining at this restaurant as is what you receive for the money. I'm tempted to inform my coworkers of the decline in service and value...a number of people from my office walk to this shopping center for lunch almost daily. Beware - this restaurant seems to be losing sight of what has made it successful. read more

My favorite dish is the shrimp pad thai. Usually it's awesome, but you can always tell when a different chef has prepared the dishes. Sometimes a 2 spice, which isn't that spicy comes out like fire. Other times the 2 is amazing, and sometimes it's bland as can be. I'd love it if they had a set receipe so I didn't fell like I was playing Russian Roulette with my taste buds. If they could get the spice control or lack there down, I'd totally give 5 stars. read more

Drunken noodles are amazing! I didn't think I liked peanut sauce/dressing until I came here! I could almost drink it! Staff is always attentive and so quick! We are always back to work on time after having lunch here! read more

We were very excited for a new Thai restaurant opening in Fort Worth and Thai Select did not disappoint! We went there tonight and this small restaurant was PACKED -- luckily, there was one table left in the corner for us. It looked like a huge foodie group had taken over the rest of the place. The waiter came up to us and let us know to order quickly before the group so we wouldn't have to wait long for our food. That was a great idea because our food came out very quickly. We ordered the veggie spring rolls to start and shared a bowl of the Tom Kha Kai soup. The peanut dip that came with the rolls was very good and the soup was very tasty. Right as we finished our starters, our meals came out. I ordered the massaman curry with tofu and my fiancé ordered the pad prik khing with chicken... both were the perfect amount of spice and absolutely delicious! This is by far the best Thai restaurant that I've been to in Forth Worth! We will definitely go back again! read more

Really good food constitantly every time! This si sky go to choice for authentic Thai food.

My co-workers and I went to Thai Select to have lunch today. I have never had Thai food and one of my co-workers recommended Thai Select. We ordered our food and drinks, then the waitress brought out our salads. As I was about to take a final bite of my salad I noticed something moving on the lettuce that was on my fork. There was a live maggot in my salad! I immediately told the waitress about the larva. At first she said she didn't see it. I told her it was definitely in the salad. Then she said, "I see it!" took the bowl and walked away. We were all in shock and couldn't believe what had occurred. As I was heading to the door my co-worker went to pay for our drinks and advise the staff we were leaving. Another waitress who also saw the maggot apologize for my experience; however, I want to make sure everyone is aware of this situation. Honestly, I did not eat anything other than the salad so I cannot speak on their other menu items. Nevertheless, this was the first and last time I will be visiting this restaurant. read more

My husband and I ate at Thai Select & although the food was very delicious, the service & environment was very lacking. The restaurant is over crowded & tables far too close to either others tables (less than a foot from one another) or the wall. I literally sat less than 6 inches next to a man that I did not know, nor cared to know. The waiters were all rushing around & not really paying attention to detail. We had 3 different waiters during our meal. The woman that took our card to pay for our food never brought it back. We waited 20 minutes for her to bring the card back & finally walked to the counter as we were leaving & requested it. The woman looked at us in sheer panic because she had given our card to another table. I would recommend ordering to-go if you want food from here! read more

The Pad Thai and Panang Curry are both great. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls and salad is also amazing!

I had seen this place numerous times while shopping in the area and was curious. Finally popped in one day to check it out. Was disappointed at a lack of lunch specials. Food was overall decent, nice presentation, adequate if not outstanding. A bit to upscale and pricey for my less than refined tastes read more

I was told that this is a good place for quick bite. But personally I did not like the taste of the two dishes that I ordered. The table had no cover and had cuts and scratches on it. There were house flies in the restaurant which were panning me. Won't visit again... read more

Love this place! Quality Thai food! The orange chicken and their steak salads are some of my favorites, just moved to Lubbock, but when I'm in town i make sure to order food from here! read more

My new favorite place. Been here a number of times to get food since my initial review and ive yet to get a single thing that wasnt off the hook and ive been trying a wide variety of things on the menu. Their thai curries with the creamy coconut milk are dope. Order some. Wonderfully spicy the way they should be. Their staff is also quite friendly. The other night the wife and I got dinner from them and she got her obligatory boba tea (hard to find boba in the Hulen area - this is a huge plus) and once we got it home, it got fumbled and came to a sad end on our floor. Of course, she sent me back for another one. Upon returning again and telling the story, paying for a new one, and getting through the chuckles, I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me 2 of them and a smile....almost as if to say, "its cool, butterfingers...heres one more just in case". Good people here, they didnt need to do all that. read more

the BEST Thai food in Fort Worth!! the Thai crispy spring rolls are definately a must if you eat here.

Yuck... had take out orange chicken and the chicken tasted old like it was cooked 3 days ago. Ugh

very mediocre. my orange chicken tasted like it had been defrosted before it was fried up and my friend's tofu was mushy and disgusting. the brown rice was good but the service was very awkward. read more

Yummy, convenient, authentic Thai food. Never had anything here i didnt enjoy. Theyre always out of boba when I order to-go, though..not really a big deal except they dont let me know until Im paying for my food. read more

Good food! Best egg rolls around! Also very good rice and can spice it up how ever you want!

The people here were really nice however, who in the world told this place there food was good?!?! YUK!! Either you all have not tasted GOOD Thai food or you just don't have any taste buds. We ordered three different items and none of them were worth talking about. I am a HUGE fan of Thai high end and low. This was the worse Thai rice I've ever had. I'm still in search of the TRUE #1 Best Thai food in Fort Worth........until then I guess I'll continue to drive to Dallas. #1 Dallas Thai low budget is "Thai-To-Go" on Medical District. Now that's good eating!!!! read more

This place on Hulen is pretty good but I think that Thailicious down the street is better. I used to do takeout a bunch here before I moved to Southlake. This place is good for pad Thai. read more

This place is consistently good. Is it the best Thai food I've ever had? NO, but a trip to San Francisco is not cheap, and I must avoid Colorado Springs for reasons I should not divulge on a public forum, let's just say it's expensive to travel and leave it at that. Where was I? Oh, yes this is the place I go when I need comfort, and Mom will not answer the phone, and texting a sister is cumbersome. It's affordable, casual, and they accomodate my Vegan diet without a sneer or a ton of awkward questions. It's small enough that being alone with a book is doable without that wall of noise most larger restaraunts have. My advice, go on down and check it out for yourself. Obviously I cannot tell you about the chicken curry, or pork chops every one else seems to get. That you must decide for yourself, and I hope my review at least piqued your interest enough to get your butt out of the chair, leave your computer and LIVE a little... ;) read more

The food is good, but there is better Thai in Fort Worth...Thailicious and Happy Bowl come to mind. I actually like all dishes I have had here with the exception of the curries. I always feel like the curries are frothy. I really don't want a frothy curry. Even with curries I don't care for, I probably would have given four stars because I enjoy everything else, but I knocked them down to two stars because of the service. I can't say anything about their lunch service, but dinner is slow and the wait staff seems to have an "I don't care" attitude. Ready to order? Be prepared to wait. Close your menus to indicate you are ready to order? You will still wait. Once you finally order, don't expect your food anytime soon. I've waited 45 minutes for food when I was one of two tables. Want your check or want to pay your check? Be prepared to wait some more!!!! I thought I could combat the wait by calling in a to-go order. They told me 20 minutes, and I arrived at 20 minutes from the time I hung up the phone. I then stood awkwardly (with 3 other people who had to-go orders) for an additional 30 minutes. If they would improve their service, this would be a great place to frequent. Until then, there are other places that will get my business. read more

Yum, yummy, yum. It's the best! Pad Thai, yellow curry, I say yessss. Excellent for take-out. Love the generous sizes.

I am not a big fan of Thai food, but the food here was good. Wait staff was a bit slow and wanted to stay behind counter instead of checking on customers. I would give more stars if the service was faster. All in all not bad. Prices were a little high. read more

The food here is great. It has gotten more popular though so the wait time and prices reflect. The lunch specials have gone up about $4 since the first time I visited. Definitely good but if your looking for a decent lunch special head to Taste of Asia. read more

I've tried to match the pad thai I had when I lived with an Indonesian roommate who cooked it authentically, and this is the only one in Fort Worth that comes close! I haven't tried anything else at Thai Select, and to be honest, probably never will. I can't go there and NOT get their pad thai! It's delicious and they put peanut crumbles in it, unlike many places here. read more

Great food , bad service - this is one of the best restaurants for Thai around this area. Every item on the menu is delicious however the main shortcoming of this place ( the reason for 3*) is the poor and extremely slow service. Once you enter the tiny restaurant it takes 5 mins for one of the waiters to look at you. That too if you are wearing flashy clothes to catch their attention.Once you are in, you'll be lucky if you are asked for drinks. No one comes to take the order for the next 20 mins. The waiters will be running around like ants but no one cares if the customers need help with menu or to take order. Once you place the order , you are again lucky if the food comes fast. Most often it does. After you are finished its the same ordeal, you'll start looking around for your waiter but no one acknowledges you. Takes another 30 mins to get the check. By now you've digested the food and looked at the watch 30 times and regretting to have come here in spite of the good food. In conclusion great food but takes 2 to 3 hrs from the time you enter to the time you walk out. If you have that kind of time, this is an excellent place for Thai food read more
