I really enjoy this place, they have made quite the regulars out my boyfriend and I. They're menu is so large and I haven't ordered one thing I wouldn't try again. The service is always very quick. The largest varieties of teas I've seen in a restaurant, and I always go with a classic Thai tea: YUMMY! This place was AWESOME. I got carry out for dinner, but I can tell it would be an great place to dine in. It was small and nice. White tables cloths and dim lightning. I definitely would dress a little bit nicer if I sat down and ate here. My food was awesome. I got spring rolls and pad Thai with chicken (Thai hot). Thai hot is like ordering Indian food at a 10 out of 10. The spring rolls were good. The pad Thai was not the best I've ever had but probably the second best. At thai restaurants I always get pad Thai and aways thai hot. The noodles were a little bigger than I'm used to which I didn't like. But the flavor was great. The lady on the phone when I called in my order was a little hard to understand, but that just made it feel more authentic! Their soups are ridiculously overpriced. It does not make sense to bring out a soup in a fancy container and it not be hot. My soup wasn't hot. It was skimpy in ingredients. I ordered a tofu and clear noodle soup add seafood. After they charged me extra for the clear noodles. The soup cost ended up being $19 + $2 for the clear noodles that was only enough for one person. After paying $21 for that soup, I left severely unsatisfied and disappointed and cheated. Their sushi was average. My friend enjoyed her shrimp with garlic sauce and veggies. We will not go back! Our service was deplorable other tables not so much. We felt we were an afterthought. Rearranging tables took priority over our service.The wait staff was in no way as accommodating for us as they were for some others. The food was mediocre at best, when we finally got it, It came cold. After finally getting the attention of a waitress the same plate was returned microwaved and still cold. We had to remind the hurried staff of our drink reorder and what it was that we were drinking and still waited again. Before we could finish stating our food orders the waitresses were hurrying away having to call out numerous times to get them to come back so we could finish placing our order which was very very difficult due to the language barrier and the minimal time they tried to spend at our table . One of the few places open during Christmas and we are glad we tried it for the first time. Service was very friendly and fairly efficient even though it was quite busy. I can take of leave sushi but other parties' order looked quite appetizing. I had a rather simple fried rice and chicken dish, and it was very tasty. Everyone else reported same. Can't really comment more on the food after only one visit, but we will hopefully return and update later. I certainly did not experience and of the cleanliness issues noted by some of the other Yelpers. Everything I saw was sparkling. One star off because order of a diet coke came in a small plastic bottle, negating refills; it frankly was not enough drink and certainly no more was offered. Short answer: For sushi, if you like Kroger, you will love this. If not, go to Tokyo or Kyoto (or head into Nashville or Franklin if you want even better sushi). Long answer: I normally go to either Kyoto or Tokyo when I go get sushi to go in Bellevue. After seeing the reviews on best sushi in Bellevue, I decided to give Lemongrass a try. It is certainly not the best sushi in Bellevue and I would question any review from someone who states this. Unless they were having a bad night for sushi (and also a bad night for Thai a few months ago when I visited). My feelings on the sushi? It is marginal sushi, at best. If this is what people call the best, then they must think supermarket sushi is average. Perhaps I have just become too much of a sushi snob? The fish was fresh. The tuna was the worst of the bunch, as it was getting marginal. The salmon was very nice, as was the rest of the fish. The problem, however, is the rice. Rice is extremely important for good sushi and the rice here is most likely done far ahead of time. It was also cold, which is not a good sign. If the rice is refrigerated, it certainly is not fresh. I was fine with the sashimi that came with the meal, but with Tokyo only a few dollars more for an equivalent meal, I will not try again. Personally, I found Asihi better for sushi, and it is a buffet, so it is not high on my list. read more

We bought whole a whole pound for 2 dollars from a market .2 miles way two days ago I asked why they charged so much the manager said "then make your own food at home" wow what horrible customer service anyone who has ever been to Thailand any place in Thailand before would know this customer service would not be acceptable and that's why they had to come to america. I ordered the pad Thai and it was very bland. Probably the blandest pad Thai I've ever had. I also ordered the Tom Yum Kha soup and that actually tasted really good. The vegetables were a bit undercooked and hard but the flavor was perfect. The only other thing i can say is that I ordered as takeout and when I went in for my food I noticed one of the employees straight up wasn't wearing a mask. Maybe he's got a medical exception but I don't know for sure and it's really off-putting to see that during a pandemic. I understand it's pretty difficult to enforce mask use of customers which is why I won't dine in, but staff is another matter and I will definitely pick a place that is being safer to get food at in the future. read more

This is one of the few really good places to get Thai in the West Nashville area. It's right next to the TJ Maxx at the corner of Old Hickory and HWY 70. The ambiance is "upscale", which white linens and a variety of decorations. It's dimly lit, and very cozy. They have a variety of menu options from curry's, to noodle dishes and sushi. I've been here several times. The first time I got the chicken volcano. It was chicken that was lightly breaded with a chili sauce, stir fry veggies and rice. The rice came out in a cute little heart shape. It was very good. The veggies weren't overcooked and soggy, but rather crunchy and fresh. The second time I got the chicken pad thai, I would recommend asking for more spice if you like spicy foods. It was a little on the sweeter side than what I would have liked. The only down side about this place is that it's a little over priced. If you are looking for a nice dining experience I would go here, but if you just want good thai food, I would go get take out from somewhere else. read more

On a overall setting, I will say that when it comes to quantity of the food, you definitely get your money's worth and the staffs are quite friendly. The issue I did have at Lemongrass Sushi & Thai is the food itself. I have better Thai food. I had the Chicken Green Curry it was not as spicy as requested. Also, the chicken does NOT and I repeat ... does NOT taste anything like chicken. I couldn't finish my meal. The chicken tasted rubbery. I was definitely disappointed. Also, most Thai food restaurants will provide you with a continuous amount of white rice. Lemongrass will charge you extra each time you ask for rice. The portion of it is too little especially if you're eating a large portion of curry. Lastly, the whole thing of servers touching everything in the room then when setting the table they touch the part of the silverware that goes in your mouth is a bit disturbing. My advice to you, be aware of what you're eating. Are you actually paying for the meat you requested or the substitute of it and whom has touched the silverware. read more

Lemongrass is my favorite Thai and Sushi place in Bellevue. I always enjoy their food, especially the traditional Thai-food and sushi bar. What I meant by traditional Thai-food are any kind of Pad Thai and any kind of curry. Those are the kind of Thai-food that I usually order from them. I know what I like and I rarely venture out of my comfort zone. Ha, ha! How about their sushi menu? Most of the time, I ordered the sashimi (tuna, salmon or white tail) accompanies by 2 or 3 sushi rolls. The fish that they serve couldn't be any fresher, even some of them are imported from Japan, a country that agreeably obsess with quality and fish. I also appreciate the creativity gratitude of Lemongrass' Sushi Chef. How about the service? For the most part, the staffs have been top notch. They seems happy to be there and to see you. They also know what they are doing. You can expect excellent service from the staffs. Are they perfect? Not quite. During Thanksgiving 2019 (prior COVID), I had to wait for approximately 2 hours for an order of green curry that I made through their website. I totally understand why it happened. During Thanksgiving, or holiday for that matter, Lemongrass is always crazy busy. I really hope the wait staffs will improve their coordination and communication. Since stupid COVID, I have only been placing order through their website and have the food to-go. I have been vaccinated and I really hope I can return to dine in very soon. read more

Sweet and sour fish should be called sweet sour and cold fish as I getting spots of cold sauce in each bite. Red curry with fried tofu well they must have meant to say not fried on the menu. I've seen this place for years without walking in. My initial gut was right! I've been around Bellevue for a long time, and I've passed by this place numerous times. Finally, I caved in and went with my wife. The parking is not a problem, it's part of a strip mall with a few fast food places, so there is plenty of parking. The service was meh at best, as I felt like we were rushed along. We barely sat down, and opened the menu when the waiter came along for the order. We told him to give us a minute because it's a long menu and we hadn't decided. I'm pretty sure he took this personally, because he didn't come around for about 15 mins afterwards. I understand that waiting is a hard job, and I really do try to be respectful to everyone we meet at restaurants, but this felt a bit weird to me, as if he took us asking for an extra minute as some form of disrespect. We didn't do it in a bad fashion or with an attitude. We just asked for an extra minute, saying we hadn't decided yet. Spring Rolls: Nothing special at all. This wasn't horrible, but these are spring rolls. As a vegetarian at Asian places, this is usually one of the few choices I have, so I ordered it out of habit. Fish cakes: My wife got the fish cakes, I didn't try it out. She said it was bad, and she loves fish, so it must have been horrible! Lo-Mein: Again, vegetarian, limited choices. However, I wanted just small amount of vegetables on the lo-mein. I usually don't like the vegetables that accompany Lo-Mein, so I asked if they could be light on the vegetables. What I got on my plate was a kid's portion of Lo-Mein at full price. I could fit all of it in my fist. It wasn't all that hard to possibly count how many strings of noodles were on the plate. I understand if high end restaurants have small portions but make up for it with delicate presentation and good taste. Absolutely, none of this applies here. The presentation was a small gob of noodles on a white plate, this restaurant is not high end by any means, and the taste was mediocre. Infact, to finish it, I had to put a copious amount of soy sauce on it. Thai Noodles with Shrimp: My wife hated this as well. I didn't try it, so I can't give my opinion. She said it tasted very bad, with no spice and no flavor. Fried Banana with Ice Cream: Since I pretty much had nothing for an Entree, I decided to try their dessert. It was meh at best. I like fried banana, and I like ice cream. You figure you can't go wrong with combining things. Yet, they surprised me by screwing this up somehow. The ice cream tasted like they ran out to Kroger and bought something on sale, and fried some over-ripe banana that they had planned to throw out at night. For something that sounded great in theory, this was a disappointment. The food and the service is horrible here. I wouldn't go back, nor would I recommend this place to anyone. read more

I really want to give Lemongrass 4 stars...but I can't just yet. They have great Thai food! I've had the Pad Thai, Ginger Chili Pork, Pad See-ew and it has all been delicious. My biggest complaint here is service. First of all, be prepared to wait...and spend lots of time waiting. Its taken anywhere between 10-15 minutes after being seated to have our order taken and even took us 30 minutes once or twice to get the check...while there were only a few other customers in the restaurant. While they take their time in that department they will randomly rush by and take your plate up while you're still trying to eat. Thats a big problem with me. Don't mess with me and my spring rolls until I'm done eating them thank you. The only other negative for me is they have bottled soda but if you order ice tea you get unlimited refills...that bothers me a bit but to my husband who can drink a 12 pack of soda per meal that makes him think twice before we come here. Things run smoothly when the owner is there but when he's absent is when the service is a little lacking. I still think everyone should try the food here if they haven't, its very good. Gah! Why did I come here? I'll tell you why! One of my favorite cuisines in the world is Thai and since moving here from New York. I've been craving good Thai food. This restaurant was close by so my husband and I decided to try it out on the way back from some errands. The decor of the restaurant is fine - not tacky at all. Simple with some touches of Asian elegance here and there. It was a very busy night but we were immediately seated next to the door. The waiter came by almost immediately but he seemed very bored, very unimpressed by our presence. Nevertheless, we chalked it up to a busy night and he must be so, very tired. We got the waters, apps, and the entrees. He plopped the waters and the dishes down like he was mad at us. Oookay, then dude. We ordered the spring rolls and the fish cakes for the appetizers. When my husband placed the orders for the apps, the waiter looked at him like he was stupid and repeated the orders in a slow and condescending voice. The fish cakes were overly greasy but had a solid flavor to them, albeit a little too salty. My husband ordered the lo mein and got this TINY plate of lo mein. It was pathetic. He likes to eat so it clearly wasn't going to be enough for him. I got the spicy Thai noodles with shrimp and it SUCKED. It wasn't spicy enough and the flavor was so off. I could only eat maybe a third of it before giving up for the night. I packed it up though - I didn't want to waste food. But then, I tried it again, the next day, for lunch and it sucked even more so never going to get that again. My husband also ordered the friend bananas with ice cream - he wasn't a fan. The ice cream wasn't sweet enough - I concurred. It tasted more like slightly sweet and frozen whipped cream. I seriously doubt it was homemade. I might be too harsh. I might be comparing a little too much. And I would've rated the place higher...if the service was at least...well, serviceable. But no, the waiter pretty much was the cherry on top of this horrible sundae. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially if you've had good Thai food before. If you've never had Thai food before, go ahead. It can be a stepping stone. When you do go to better Thai places, it'll prompt you to not come back here for fear of tastelessness and bad service. read more

It may be the one decent store-front Asian restaurant in Belleuve. You will be a lot better off to drive a little further to Green Hill for other Asian food. I ordered Massaman curry with chicken. Half of the bowl is filled with RAW onions. It's like the chef forget to add onion to cook so just added them and mixed it afterward. The chicken was also cold. I really suspect the cook threw this in the microwave and didn't set the timer high enough or something. Come on man, I know its cold in TN around this time of year, but asking for cooked and hot food from a paid customer is not too much to ask for. Price tag wise, it is relative expensive for asian food. We both ordered a soup and a Massaman curry, (2 soups, 2 entree) total come to about $40 (we drank water!). But the sad part is, my husband needed to drive thru McDonald's afterwards. He was still hungry. I never in my life, not once see my husband walk out from a restaurant hungry. It has been our rule, if we don't like a place, there is always a McDonald's. He had to play the McDonald's card! Service wasn't that great neither. They seems nice but not attentive at all, such as waiting forever before they refill your emptied water glasses, or come to take the bill.
