First off the service was good! We ordered 1 plate of shrimp fried rice w/orange chicken and 1 plate of pork fried rice w/ orange chicken and a plate of chow mein and 2 sodas for $78! My family & I have been going to Thai Plate for at least 25 years, if not more. I've been eating here since I was a child & I'm 34 now. The food NEVER disappoints. We always have the Pad Thai & the Fried rice and My goodness the Wontons have us in a chokehold! We get 2 to 3 orders every time. & the owner is so sweet, she has such great customer service & does everything with so much care and love. I'd always recommend this place. The seasonal fish plate was amazing, the sauce on it with cucumber and tomato trimmings I was surprised by the attention to plating. A small hole in the wall restaurant with rapid service and authentic dishes. I really wish I had taken some pictures. Prices were awesome as well. Singha beer my favorite was available and went great with the fish cake appetizer. Serving sizes were very generous and I ended up with a lot of leftovers. Tried the green curry with chicken which was also great and came with a huge serving of rice. Next time I'll take pictures. Parking is a little tricky around the back down an alley and there are about 5 spots. Or you can park on the street in front during business hours no problem. read more

Came with salad, an egg roll and steamed rice This was an above average size lunch special in my experience. It was not overly filling however they don't skimp. For the price of $11.95 it's a good deal. The dish was tasty and spicy, but not overwhelming spicy. The chicken was delicious as were the onions and peppers. I had previously ordered once from here before and the food was awesome, but this time i decided to go dine in with my wife and the experience was phenomenal First of all, we got greeted like royalty by our server/hostess "Ya". She was very helpful in detailing the menu to us and recomending special. The presentation of the seafood soup was great and the bbq chicken, and the spicy glass noodles were something out of this world. The dishes were authentic Thai items that leave you in awe of how tasty, fresh, and lean this food was. I ordered through Postmates, I'm disappointed in their tofu amount for a dish called "Bean sprouts and tofu". I can buy all these sprouts for $2, so I'm paying an additional $8 for this amount of tofu? Disappointing. It's a shame because it tastes good, but I'm hesitant to ever order again. This isn't even one block of tofu, a block of tofu would be $1.50. You would have still made a $6.50 profit on this dish if a whole block had been used. They did make it extra spicy though and wrapped it good so it wouldn't leak. For all that I probably will come back, but with a wary mindset. read more

Did not expect so much from this place, but we were very pleasantly surprised on how tasty the food were! From the seafood soup, to the BBQ chicken, and Pad thai, nothing bad can be said about them. They were just delicious! We even came back the next day to have lunch to go. On top of the great food, the people were also great! The server was very pleasant, helpful and thoughtful! She brought out paper plates and plastic utensils for us when she learned we were just staying at a hotel so we can have something to use to eat our leftovers (did I mention the portions were huge?). The next day when we came back to have lunch to go, she brought out bottled water and fresh apples to the car for us to eat while waiting for our food. You don't see that everyday!
