My family & I have been going to Thai Plate for at least 25 years, if not more. I've been eating here since I was a child & I'm 34 now. The food NEVER disappoints. We always have the Pad Thai & the Fried rice and My goodness the Wontons have us in a chokehold! We get 2 to 3 orders every time. & the owner is so sweet, she has such great customer service & does everything with so much care and love. I'd always recommend this place. Thank you for all you do and per usual, we will be back soon.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and it never disappoints!!! My favorites are the Pad Thai rice with shrimp, the spicy shrimp fried rice and the fried wontons with chicken. The hostess Ya is always so sweet and hospitable. Last but not least don't forget to grab a Thai iced tea....so refreshing!

This was so filling and satisfying. Shrimp fried noodle

If you are looking for thai food around the LAX area this is definitely your spot. The owners works really hard to make sure every customer is well fed. I believe you won't leave without a full stomach. I think the ambiance was very friendly and caring because the owners are great restauranteers.

The owner is kind and a bit of a fun character! The food itself is solid and satisfying. The curries are the standouts for me, especially the pineapple curry and the panang curry. Both are flavorful, come with rice, and feel reasonably priced for the portions you get. Those are my go-to orders and the ones I'd recommend. Some of the entrée-style dishes are a bit pricier and don't include rice, so I usually skip those and stick with the curries. This place has been a lifesaver after getting back from the airport when my wife and I are starving and don't want fast food. A couple of things to note. Parking can be tricky if you're not already in a nearby garage, though there is some street parking on nearby side streets. Also, there is a dine-in charge that's roughly equivalent to a standard tip, so just be aware of that going in. That seems to be to account for the fact that you may not have the same server visit your table throughout the meal. Panang Cafe is a solid Thai option in an area that could really use more spots like it, and I'm very glad it's there.

Highly recommend eating family-style so that everyone has a taste of all the dishes. The Pad See Ew and Yellow Curry are some of the best examples of these classic dishes we have had in L.A. Finished with an excellent Mango Sticky Rice plus a Mango Sorbet. These desserts were so fresh. Love it when mangoes are in-season. Our house-guest gave the experience a 10/10. Order first at the counter, then you're given a cup for self-serve water. The self serve station also has napkins and utensils. Then, it's free seating and the food is brought to you, freshly made to order and pretty quickly, I might add. I had the Tom Yumm Soup with chicken (default is medium spicy).
