    Rainbow Roll

We were just here less than a week ago and we had to come back! I tried something new tonight, the Panang curry. It was so savory and delicious! We got a rainbow roll for appetizer and it was very refreshing. The Thai sweet and sour was amazing per usual. Our waiter was extremely attentive and sweet! We were able to watch the Olympics opening ceremony during our dinner so we were very entertained! They always have sports on the tv. The lights were very dim tonight which I am not mad about, it allows for a very relaxing experience. Can't wait to come back!

I give this place a 4.5 out of 5. The inside is nice. I liked the decorative tables. Plenty of seating. Booths, tables for larger groups, a sushi bar, and smaller tables for intimate settings. The service.....phenomenal. I ordered beef larb with sticky rice, and pineapple curry with shrimp. I also ordered a papaya salad and another beef larb to go. The larb was some of the best I have ever had. The portions aren't very big. But I would pay top dollar to eat that again. The curry was ok for me. I enjoy a thicker curry instead of a soupy one. However, the flavor was there. Shrimp cooked perfectly. The papaya salad. Simply lovely. I liked that they had many protein options for all their entrees. As I remember they had chicken, beef, pork, tofu, and shrimp. First time trying this place. I will be back.

Third time back to Thai kitchen . Point for sushi is the best in town So fresh and yummy nice presentation on sushi dish .Compliments to Chef Alex for creating something special for us.

    Papaya Salad

I recently dined at the Thai Kitchen on while visiting Baton Rouge. This restaurant has a combination of authentic Thai decorations with a full bar and several TVs on the walls for viewing sporting events. Many dining tables were hand carved with intricate details that were quite amazing. We started with Papaya Salad which we shared as it was enough for two! Our entrees were Chicken Pad Thai and a Beef Pad Ped at varying degrees of heat* 2 and 3. Our salad was a great way to begin our meal and our varied degrees of spicy entrees complimented each other as we shared both. For an intimate dinner at an authentic Thai restaurant you will enjoy Thai Kitchen. I love this restaurant and will visit again. * When ordering you get to specify on how hot you want your entree from 1 to 5 which is VERY convenient as some people have different tolerances to Thai spiciness. I recommend 2 for those new to authentic Thai dining and up to a 4 if you are a dragon who craves the heat.

There are only about 5 golf simulators, but a big bar with tons of bar like seating and TVs everywhere. This would be a great place to watch a sports game or to come to enjoy the atmosphere if you don't want to do the gold simulators. We sat at a high top and were able to watch tv and watch some parties golf. From where we were sitting, the golf simulators offer more than golf. There were so many things you could do, and each simulator had there own area/cubby, so that was nice if you wanted to do that. I thought the service could have been better. First, they had to start a tab when you order, which I understand for this atmosphere. Tip is already included when you pay. Because it is still new, we didn't mind that the service was slow. The food and drinks were great bar food. Delicious! We got the mozz sticks, chicken Caesar wrap, and the hot honey chicken sandwich. It was all great portions and very good. I also got the strawberry mojito, which I ended up getting another one because it was so good. Will definitely be back!

We decided to eat at the bar. This bar has a weird set up. The seats are low and the waitress handed our food and drinks down from behind the bar. This isn't a good idea because of the set up. On to the food. I had the Seafood Soul Rolls and Flaming Hennessy Wings. The rolls were stuffed with okay tasting shrimp fried rice. Nothing to write home about. The wings were so so. The fire display was nice but the wings were almost overcooked and tiny. I also do not like the whole wing. I prefer just the flats instead. Now the atmosphere was nice. Great music. The live band was getting ready to play but I left before they started. The restaurant is new so I may try again in the future once they've worked the kinks out.

The atmosphere is very intimate, where you can only be 21 or older to enter. On some nights, they have live bands perform. The vibe is really warm and welcoming. The service is great. The waitresses/waiters have been pleasant and attentive EVERY time I have visited. So let's talk about the food...here's what I have eaten so far... Seafood Eggrolls: These are ridiculously good and filling. There is a sweet sauce that is drizzled on top along with a Boudin filling that is healthy and good. Shrimp and Grits: This meal is deliciously good and filling. The shrimp is enormous. Normally, I don't eat cheesy grits but these were delicious. The creole sauce that the shrimp is cooked in has a spice taste that is bearable meaning it's not too hot where you can't enjoy it. Flaming Hennessy Wings: This has a taste like no other. The meat was tender and flavorful. The presentation of the food was pleasing. It has a sweet Hennessy taste to it. If you're ever in Baton Rouge, this is a place you would want to try.

Our bartender was super sweet and patient with us during out first visit and even helped us pick out beers that we might like. It's interesting to note how many other reviews note a plethora of IPAs - my guess is this is seasonal because there were lots of malty stouts in early March. I love a rotating menu, so this makes me excited to go back. I was between the Wendy Peffercorn and Field of Nightmares (I think? It was a chocolate peanut butter stout.). The bartender let me try both and it was hard to choose! I ended up with Wendy Peffercorn, but I definitely would have been happy with either. Looking forward to going back, maybe even for Trivia night on Tuesdays! FYI - this business participates in PubPass and even though their website doesn't indicate food service, it looks like they rotate pizzas of the day.
