I have been DESPERATELY needing a massage badly, however since I'm a marathon runner and triathlete, I'm pretty picky about where I go for my massages. I need to know that they can do DEEP TISSUE massages but also be aware of the needs of a sports massage, and when I found Thai Herbal Therapy online and read about their Thai Bodywork combo with deep tissue, I was not disappointed!! Nana really WORKED my back and shoulder and NECK. There are bars on top of the massage bed and with your permission, if you are able to take a strong deep massage like I wanted, they will walk on your back and even do the traditional thai bodywork of bending and contorting your body and using your natural body movements and pressure against one another, to twist you like a pretzel and really help you deeply get the stretch you want and need!! AND BONUSSSS!!!!! they have an amazing STEAM room for afterwards and you can relax and take a nice relaxing shower and let all your stress and worries melt away I will be back for sure!!! and bring a friend or partner next time!! they have great deals for couple massages read more

Thai Herbal therapy - Massage - Deep Tissue - Massage Near Me - Quincy, Massachusetts

I came here recently and found out they're under new ownership -- honestly, I think they now have the best Thai massage in Boston. The therapist I had was very experienced and gave me a real Thai massage, not just a light spa version. I asked them to focus on my neck and shoulders from long hours at work, and it was amazing. I left feeling like a completely new person. Definitely recommend this place! read more

I first visited this massage place with a friend and didn't have a specific therapist in mind--so I ended up meeting Alice. From the very first one-hour session, she impressed me by quickly easing my tension and making me feel truly relaxed. What sets Alice apart is that she doesn't just focus on where you feel pain--she finds the root cause of the problem. If your arm hurts, she might trace it to your neck and work on that area, giving you lasting relief. The environment is private and comfortable, and Alice is extremely professional and attentive. She also incorporates some Thai-style back walking techniques to reach deeper muscle layers, which is both safe and incredibly effective. As someone who's tried many therapists around Boston, Alice is the first who made me feel a massage was genuinely effective. And when I checked out, I discovered this place has been the number one massage spot in Massachusetts for ten years running--that says a lot! If you need a great massage therapist, just ask for Alice. She's truly amazing. read more

One of the best massages you can have. All the therapist are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I work construction so I frequently have sores, aches and injuries. Hands down one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had. The professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding from start to finish. Every movement felt intentional -- not rushed or routine -- and the therapist took time to focus on the exact areas that needed attention. The pressure was perfect, deep enough to work out long-standing tension but always mindful and controlled. You can tell they truly understand body mechanics and care about helping you feel your best. I walked out feeling completely relaxed, lighter, and genuinely restored. If you're looking for a top-tier deep tissue massage with true professionalism and precision, this is the place to go. read more

Fantastic high quality massage! Very clean and very kind therapist. Will definitely return

I have been getting massages here for years now and can't say enough wonderful things about treatments. All of the staff are professional and excellent therapists. I see Noon and Alice the most, and really feel like they know me and how to heal through massage. Thai massage is so therapeutic! I highly recommend. read more

I've been going to this Thai massage place for awhile now & they don't fail every single time! With my profession that requires walking & standing most of the day, every masseuse knows how & where to put more attention on my areas of concern & still provide me a whole body massage. The place is clean & relaxing .. the bottle of water & a banana they give every after session is just an icing on the cake -- what a gem! - CarlaR read more

Wonderful service every time I come here, so relaxing and always leave feeling relaxed and calm!

I went here last year for a walk in massage and left feeling extremely uncomfortable. The lady who performed my massage kept getting extremely close to my lady parts and grazed it more than once. When I got home my thong reeked of tiger balm because of how close she was. Never going back and I left early. read more

I'm a regular at their Hancock location so I thought I'd try the Washington St location. The space is clean, comfortable, professional! The owner and masseuse here are very kind and caring! They go above and beyond. I also tried their steam right after the massage. Such a treat, highly recommend!! read more

They have the best and knowledgable massage therapists here. They will work on your knots and know where your pain is. Or if you want somewhere specific you want them to work on, just let them know. Communication is the key. After massage, you feel the best relief you needed. read more

I received the most attentive, luxurious, relaxing massage I have ever received. I went twice and both times were incredible!

I don't get massages very often. On a whim yesterday, I decided to call to make an appointment to come in after work. I've had a sore stiff neck for about two weeks now, and this was a necessity to me. My neighbor, Sandra, also recommended her to me. I walked in, and I was ushered into a room. I told Joy what was bothering me, and she went to work. She asked my preference, and I told her that I didn't like massages that were too deep. And so she lightened up a little bit, but not too much that it didn't feel like a good massage. It was perfect. Then she mentioned that she'd bring hot stones, and I was like...oh boy. I had never had a hot stone massage before, but man it changed my life. The hot stones helped my aching neck as well as other parts of my body that I had no idea were tense. I enjoyed every minute. It was worth every dollar I spent. Joy was brilliant and she was in tune with my muscles and what they needed in terms of massage treatment. She was very accommodating and made sure that I stayed hydrated and ate a banana after my massage. I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks, Joy!!! I feel better today, and slept well too. read more

I have had some knots and pain in my back for almost a month so I decided to go to Thai Healing Hands Spa and give it a try. It was perfect! Just what I needed. Joy was my massage therapist and she was very good. I told her about the knots in my back and she told me she was going to take care of it.. and she did indeed! She knows what she is doing because she found all the knots and got rid of them. I give it five stars and I'll be back for sure. read more

Strange experience. I was desperate for a massage, horrible aching back and shoulders. It was really, really hot and steamy inside and very dark. The woman who was giving me the massage must have weighed 80 pounds but could probably lift 600 pounds, she was so strong. It was just about unbearable, I told her it was too much but she told me that I was too tight, it would hurt now but feel good later. Not really so. Between the heat and her hurting me I was dizzy, but not relaxed. She spoke with her co-worker through the closed door in another language while hurting-I mean massaging me. She actually opened the door when the phone rang and then answered it a few times. In the middle of the massage she left...someone new came in who kept telling me that my shoulders were too tight "beautiful girl". She is the reason they get three stars. I like anyone who calls me beautiful:):) Woman number two actually got up on the table to massage me and did some other strange things that I hadn't ever felt before. Not creepy, just different. I don't think I would go back but it sure was interesting. I had bruises on my back the next day and that didn't feel very good at all... read more

Joy is simply the best masseuse I have ever had! I go see her regularly now. I'll walk into the spa in crazy amounts of body pain, and will walk out loose and limber and feeling 100 percent better. read more

I absolutely love coming to this place! I have a pretty achy back so i decided to check this place out. The prices are insanely cheap and the massages are amazing. After the hour massage I decided to sit in the steam room for 15 minutes and when I stepped out there was a towel and a bottled water waiting for me. I had the "I'm way toooo relaxed feeling" and that's when the receptionist offered me a banana to regain my strength. I will come here again and again. read more

Just went for a couple massage, my boyfriend and I was extremely satisfied. I would definitely recommend, they were really strong and professional. The place is really clean and they took us in early. They gave us bananas and water at the end which was really nice. We gave them a generous amount of tip each and left the place almost knots free. read more

This is not a spa! The place is old and has a mildew smell. The lady that massaged me had no manners and asked not only to pay upfront but demanded 20% tip at the end (I wanted to give her $10 on 70). The only reason I'm not giving it one star is that the massage itself was not bad, but if you are looking for relaxing, spa experience don't waste your time and money here. read more

Worst massage I've ever had. She didn't speak English, except for a few sentences such as "You like strong? Or soft?" I assumed this was all we needed to communicate, but apparently "strong" translated into "tiny little butterflies dancing on my back". I kept asking her to go "stronger" and she would for about 15 seconds, then stop. I would've gotten a better massage by rubbing my own back against a door frame. Worst $65 I've ever spent (other than overdraft fees). I gave 3 stars because my boyfriend got an OK one, and I had one a year ago which was OK. Just avoid the one that doesn't speak English. She also can't massage! read more

I have tried a zillion places. The few things i look for in a massage pro is experience, comfort level and cleanliness. This place is great! Nina is great. very social and the pressure is just enough. everyone is great there. try it out read more

I have been seeing the owner since 2007..8 years. She is the absolute best. She is a third generation massage therapist and healer and was born doing this. Her father was a doctor and as a small child (age 6) she would go with her father to the patients' homes. Her father let her practice massage therapy and she told me once that "ever since I was 6, when I treated one of my father's patients...I always knew this is what I wanted to be". Trust me, she is truly gifted. During valentine's day and on other holidays, her shop is filled with roses from grateful customers. So I'm not the only one that feels this way..just one of the rare ones to take a moment to write a review on yelp! read more

Had another lovely massage from Nina - I am going to be a regular here. She's really helping out with my back pain, and is so friendly. There's truly Thai hospitality here. I love it! read more

I've been going here for about 3 months now (roughly once a week) and believe it's one of the best values in the area. The masseuses are excellent--very good at various types of massage (I usually get a mix of swedish and thai) and quite nice. I'm really enthusiastic about this place because it's helped me tremendously with the recovery of my frozen shoulder after acupuncture, expensive massages at salons in Boston, and MGH's orthopedic group all failed. I'm cheap, but I think the money I spend at this spa is absolutely worth it. read more

The women there are really really strong and can give a fantastic massage! Ive had ons of massages all over the world at spas and hotels and in asia. Thai healing hands is definitely one of the best. Good service. Just what I was looking for. My body & mind really needed a good massage for a long time. And I kept postponing it till I couldnt take it anymore...decided to check this place out. This one is right opposite Thomas Crane Library in Quincy. Arrived at the scheduled time. They take credit cards and no surcharge for that. Of course, there's a discount too like others have pointed out. Took an hour massage. Medium-Strong one...my muscles were so sore, i think they needed that pain (with the strong massage it hurt a little bit now and then, not all the time). And right now, (the morning after) I am feeling real good....with all the stress gone! Fair price, good/clean service. And you get a banana/bottle of water as well! read more
