    Crab Rangoon

This place was okay. It's a new spot in Pizitz. I got crab Rangoon's and Bangkok wings. The crab Rangoon's did not give me the sweet and savory taste I thought it would have. I wouldn't buy it again but ate them. The wings were decent. I like the veggies with them. The ambiance is like the other restaurants in the building. Moderate sound level but good seating inside and outside. My service was quick.

Woah-- so surprised to see so many low reviews!!! Had to share what an outstanding experience I had here! The chicken pad Thai was out of this world! Reasonably priced and exceptionally good. The chicken was tender and the sauce was flavorful. Perfectly cooked noodles and I really loved this dish. I can't wait to try others. I do think the fresh spring roll was a bit off a miss, but that's ok with me. I was really here for the pad Thai. These other reviews had me a bit worried, but I'm so glad I tried it anyway. Truly don't know if they've made some great improvements or if those people just didn't know what they were talking about! We will be back! Easy ordering, quick, hot, fresh, and delicious food!!! The pizitz hall was really dark and not a great vibe in the evening, but that was a Pizitz issue, not Thai Esane issue!

I stumbled upon Thai Esane when I was with my family in the food hall, and it smelled so good that I had to try it. I am so happy I did because it's now my favorite Thai restaurant in the area! I tried a variety of their dishes, Thai tea and iced coffee. Everything tasted really fresh and flavorful! My family decided to get food from another restaurant, and they ended up eating all of my food because it was that good! I was so surprised with the mixed reviews, but I believe there's a new owner so that may explain it. Pro tip, ask if they have their chocolate cake available! 10/10

Tried the new Thai restaurant in the Pizits Food Hall. They have a reasonably priced menu with a variety of curry and noodle dishes. I've definitely had better pad Thai, although it was still good. The cashier was really nice and considerate about spice level preference. The food was good, but there was no "wow" factor. I'd be happy to try other dishes!

It is located in a large plaza that spas both sides of the road. The opposite side looked more like a small shopping mall with higher end restaurants, but we didn't explore it. The side where this restaurant is located is anchored by a Publix. There was plenty of parking in the shared lot. I don't think that this place was what either of us expected, which was a restaurant where you ordered from your table. Instead, this place had a more 'hole in the wall' vibe, but in a generally good way. They had about 6 tables total in a fairly small space. You ordered at the counter and they brought the food out later. They were almost constantly fielding phone-in orders for to-go food. They had limited drinks available (including water) but no alcohol. The staff was friendly. The food came out before long, and we both agreed it was very good. My curry was quite flavorful. My wife liked her vegetable dish as well. So, just know what to expect. If you want to impress someone on a first date, this may not be the venue for you. If you are just here for the food, then this is a great choice. If I lived in the area and wanted Thai take-out, this would absolutely be my first pick.

Three picnic tables outside is all of the seating. Parking lot is small but there is parking across the street if needed. I usually order and then wait in my car for my food. Friday special is my favorite but if you are one of the lucky ones that dines there on a day when they have yellow noodle bowl, you are blessed. It is very rare. It says Hoover Food Mart on the sign, a homage to their humble beginnings in this building back when it was an operating gas station. Unique, special, delicious. An all around gem in the heart of Hoover.

We got spring rolls of course, dumplings and he got the coveted coconut soup with tofu. He says yum. I hate Coconut soup. Spring rolls limited, hardly nothing, but them DUMPLINGS! Man yeah! Entrees were combination fried rice and Pad Pak. Pretty good. Real fresh veggies with chicken and an extra fried egg, just love the ingredients. It's a nice fresh herb taste with lots of flavor with little seasoning. Y'all already know, if it's for the dumplings alone, She'll be back.

My drink order was taken (water) and my server, who answered all of my questions, was very patient and pleasant. For my appetizer, I ordered the spring rolls. They were freshly made and came out hot and crispy. I enjoyed them and would order them again. Now the main course. I opted for the spicy Himalayan chicken, medium heat. I love spicy food, and I thought I was doing the right thing by ordering the medium level. However, it was very spicy! I did notice however, that the longer it sat, the level evened out some. Still, on my next visit, I will try the mild level to compare. The dish was delicious and very flavorful. The white rice added just the right amount of coolness to the chicken and veggies. Upon leaving, I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken in mild. I'm not sure if it's because it's a totally different flavor profile, but the mild has very little spicy. I just can't believe it's that much difference between the mild and medium levels. The drunken noodles were just okay, in my opinion. There was not a lot of juice, spice not flavor in this dish. On my next visit, I will stick with the Himalayan chicken and order it in mild just to test out my theory. The workers were very friendly and came by to check on me and made small talk with all of their customers, including me. I enjoyed my visit and look forward to returning again
