Pad kee mao is phenomenal : ) best I've had any where so far, it's my favorite dish but I've been told everything on the menu is great and I believe it! I come here very regularly. Deep fried bananas and the BEST coconut ice cream is a great dessert, I also really love their crab puffs : ). I currently live in Salem but come to Portland/Gresham regularly and Thai curry blows all of the Thai food places in Salem out of the water. I usually always get the pad kee mao when coming here but that's because it's my all time favorite food : ) & they never disappoint. read more

Typically I love the crab fried rice here and will drive miles to get it. Today however I was extremely disappointed as the big chunks of crab that I so look forward to were not there- in fact I could barely find any crab and felt like I was eating plain fried rice. No email to inform the owners. I sure hope this was a fluke and that they continue to serve the best crab friend rice in Portland (just my opinion) read more

I love this place, the food is always so good and the portions are great as well, so much variety and awesome sticky rice! They deliver, have pick up option as well. First time coming to this establishment and being a resident from California and being well versed with various Thai cuisine I have to say that this place fails the mark completely. The noddles were over cooked and smothered in sauce to hide this fact, the Orange Chicken (Thai version) lacked flavor, chicken deep fried was dry and yet still not crunchy with a poor hint of Orange flavoring and when this was pointed out to the staff it was perceived as though it was the fault of the customer of having a poor palate and there was nothing wrong with the cooking or the food. If I could leave zero star's I would. For the average folk who lives nearby and doesn't have access to alternative Thai locations this may suffice, but if you can drive to another place this would be my suggestion. Poor customer service, coupled with sub par cooking makes this place a dinner discussion on where not to go eat when I visit Oregon again. read more

I've been to Thai Curry since they first opened up. But now for the past year their quality has gone down. I live right down the street and everytime my wife and I order take out it's always dry, chicken is hard. This is a restaurant, not a food cart. I expect better quality. We got our takeout with the bottom plate broke so all the sauce was sitting at the bottom of the bag. I asked for another bag thinking it was just spillage but little did I know. I came here very excited to get "authentic" thai food, I ordered a dish I'm very familiar with (Tom yum noodle soup). Unfortunately it was very salty and because I asked for rice instead of noodles I ruined my dish. I was incredibly nice about asking for something different and I had no problem paying for what I had ordered and then the guy rolled his eyes at me an told me once again I ruined my own food and it wasn't his fault. The food was good. It came out fast, and it came out hot. However, the customer service is very poor and minimal. I have gotten take out from here before, but today as my first time dining in. They charged extra for beansprouts without letting us know beforehand. They also didn't ask me how spicy I wanted my pad thai. I guess because I'm white I automatically don't like spicy things. I do actually like spicy food, and every other time I've come here I've gotten it extra hot. Because they usually ask. I also felt like the waiter was avoiding our table, as they was very little communication and it was usually only a couple of words or a nod. I would give zero stars for service and 2 stars for food. They added a tip to my credit card without my approval. They did not deserve a tip at all. I am a good tipper. They did not earn it at all and then gave me a styrofoam to go container and lied about having anything else to use. Finding good asian food in Gresham is rare. I started going here a couple weeks ago because it was recommended by a friend. Since then I frequent this place almost once a week. I always do the chicken pad thai, level 4 spicy, and it's money every time. The tom yum is good, curry is good, their pho, fried rice, and just about everything else on the menu is delicious. The food is decently priced and the service is great (the kid does a great job holding down the front by himself). As far as thai food goes in Gresham this has to be the best place I've gone too -- genuine and delicious! read more

i came here for lunch with my friend, around 2:30 pm. first off the air quality index was soooo off. it smelt alright just musky a little. once i walked up to the counter to order, i could hear microwaves buzzing through the back wall.. hmmm kinda off putting. after i ordered the drunken noodles and my friend got pad thai, and it took a suspiciously long time for the food to arrive considering it's probably microwaved. as i was a little past half way done with my food, me and my friend were feeling a little weird. we pushed past it and thought it was nothing. we payed and left. later that day we both got struck with a sickness that only traced back to this horrible restaurant. we both got sick from it. not just me. not just her. and it lasted for a while too.. weird. must be be microwaves. also someone behind us ordered shrimp thai and it honestly smelt like a open air aquarium. read more

Came here for the first time last week on my lunch break after realizing i forgot my damn DEQ paperwork. So by accident I found this place. The service was friendly, quick, and the food was delish. The lunch special was reasonable and it came with a side salad which was nice. I had the drunken noodles.
