I was surprised to find food of such good quality in a strip mall. I ordered chicken pan ram and it was rich and yummy with a delightful peanut sauce. The vegetables were fresh and the chicken was cooked well. My wife had chicken pad Thai. I had a few bites and that wasn't enough. It was the best pad Thai I've ever had! The sauce was sweet and went really well with the seasonings on the eggs. Just really, really good. The service was decent and the ambience was as you'd expect for a restaurant in a strip mall. i came here for lunch with my friend, around 2:30 pm. first off the air quality index was soooo off. it smelt alright just musky a little. once i walked up to the counter to order, i could hear microwaves buzzing through the back wall.. hmmm kinda off putting. after i ordered the drunken noodles and my friend got pad thai, and it took a suspiciously long time for the food to arrive considering it's probably microwaved. as i was a little past half way done with my food, me and my friend were feeling a little weird. we pushed past it and thought it was nothing. we payed and left. later that day we both got struck with a sickness that only traced back to this horrible restaurant. we both got sick from it. not just me. not just her. and it lasted for a while too.. weird. must be be microwaves. also someone behind us ordered shrimp thai and it honestly smelt like a open air aquarium. read more

There was a couple at another table, but the place was empty. The waiter got mad we moved tables and said we needed to let him know. He was really rude. Then the other waiter agreed with him. Tried their 2 star Yellow Curry and 0 star Pad Thai last night with the egg rolls as an appetizer. We were very impressed with the flavor on all the entrees. For spice addicts like myself it needed a bit more oomph but the foundation for a good spicy dish was there on the curry. I would try 3 stars and up if you like the heat with your curry. I've waited for years for a nearby Thai place to open and was not disappointed. This is my go-to for their delicious Massuman and Tom Yum. We usually get it to go but our first experience was sit-down. They have this rad soup set-up with a fire that warms the soup while you eat. The decor was pleasant - especially for a restaurant sandwiched in a generic shopping center. They even had a table set up for outdoor seating in summer. We had one weird experience where our food tasted off, like it was missing something and they made us a new plate right away. It still didn't taste right and they wouldn't refund us. The service lacked a little being as we went for my birthday and told the server and he just walked away. Next time I will be ordering to go. Another excellent cuisine! We went yesterday evening and had to go back today for more. Family owned and very friendly. Food is prepared fresh and beautifully. I tried the Pineapple Curry today and it was superb! I loved the Shrimp Tempura as an appetizer and the Garlic Pepper Chicken is excellent as well. The entire menu is wonderful and I tried Thai Tea for the first time too. It was excellent! This place is really close to our house, so we will definitely be making it one of our "dinner-night" places when we aren't cooking at home. read more

Left two stars because we've eaten here before and had a great experience, but today one of our orders was pad kee Mao with scallops, when the entrees arrived it smelled like an open air aquarium and tasted as if had been cooked using a butane torch, needless to say it seemed as if eating this was definitely going to make us ill. Visiting from out of town and being a vegetarian Thai is a safe option. I tried two Thai restaurants and Thai Curry is the best. The food is fresh tasting and spicy enough. I tried the Pad Thai and the Cashew Nut vegetarian style with tofu. Seriously delicious. Location is worth the drive off of 182nd ave near McMenamin's. I am sure most dishes are great! read more

Worst salad rolls ever. I even paid extra for shrimp in my rolls. Normally you can see large shrimp through the translucent rice paper. I started eating my roll and then it dawned on me, where IS the shrimp? I had to examine the inside carefully and I swear to you, it looked like they took one shrimp and cut it up into thumbnail sized pieces and there were very few of those pieces in the two rolls! I have never had a negative experience here at Thai Curry. The food is so flavorful, I haven't ever tasted any Thai food that comes even close to the level of delicious this establishment offers! The family who runs the restaurant is so friendly, welcoming, and warm. The atmosphere is casual but very clean with an upscale feel. We usually order take out but have eaten in a few times. We took some friends here once from out of town and they said they can't eat at their local Thai restaurant anymore because it's too bland comparatively. Considering how delicious the food is I don't believe their prices are unreasonable at all. Depending on your meat choice the dishes run between $12-$18 which is about the same you would be paying at a chain restaurant where everything is pretty much frozen and cooked in a microwave (if you've ever worked at a chain restaurant you know what I'm talking about!) read more

Great little Thai place. Our normal little mom & pop spot closes for a month while the family travels home. We needed Thai, and this place is a couple of miles from our home. We called in and had it to go. Food was ready when I arrived, service was friendly and I was out of there in no time. I had the spicy rice with chicken, medium spicy and it was great. My wife had the chicken pad tai, medium spicy as well and her response was this would be our new spot. Sticky rice was solid. read more

My friend and I went in Sunday night around 8pm. We were starving since we've both been running errands all day. We walked in and the young guy (maybe 18-23) was standing behind the counter. He immediately seemed bothered. He rudely asked us "Take out or dining in" We stated we wanted to dine in. Instead of walking us to our table, he pointed and told us where to sit... OK. We sat down, he brought us menu's, water etc. I finally made eye contact with him that we were ready.. He came over, no smiles etc. I ordered first, which was Stir Fry and an order of Crab Puffs. My friend ordered yellow curry, and she was in the middle of deciding on her appetizer and instead of helping her decide he tell her, "I'll return when your ready" RUDE. ugh so she hurried up and picked something (Chicken Satay) We waited and our food came out quick.. He brought a bowl of rice for us to share.. My stir fry was ok, it was kind of blah, flavor just wasn't all the way there.. My friend said her Curry wasn't as delicious either. We ate and paid and left. The server did not get a tip, he had HORRIBLE customer service and was just down right rude, no tip either and I always tip. This is the second time in a row of getting terrible food here. I ordered a green curry to go. They put it in a flat box with the curry in some foil. It leaked out of the foil and also out of the box into the plastic bag. There was way more rice that curry, plus the curry had a couple of peppers, mostly bamboo shoots and overcooked dried out chicken. There wasn't enough sauce to put on the rice. I always seem to judge Thai restaurants by their panang curry. If they can make that well, they can make nearly anything well. The panang curry here is really great. I didn't clarify a spice level, and it came out perfect, a bit of bite, but not overpowering. The curry was flavorful without being too sweet. It's on my regular rotation of lunch spots now. read more
