Thai Curry - Downtown (Fort Smith) Have you experienced Thai hospitality before? Both portions were extremely generous, not to mention... OMG, SO DELICIOUS!!! I've come to restaurants before where hardly any customers were inside. Usually, restaurants will throw something quickly, without much quality or care. Not here. Let me start by saying as someone who's been to Thailand several times, and experienced firsthand Thai happy and friendly culture. "Thai Curry," Restaurant made me feel like I'm back in Thailand. The young lady that helped me pick out menu items was so kind and her smile reminded me of Thai smile. With Thai people you can usually spike up an easy conversation and that's what this young pretty lady and I did. She recommended me, "Larb Chicken" - Finely sliced choice of meat tossed with ground roasted rice, fresh lime juice and Thai seasoning served on a bed of fresh lettuce. Every bite tasted fresh and of high quality ingredients. Since I was really hungry and excited for authentic Thai cuisine, I asked for Appetizer recommendations, as well. Young lady suggested, "Pan-Seared Ahi Tuna." As I used my fork to cut into each piece, it was tender, well seasoned and oh so delicious. Both portions were extremely generous, not to mention... OMG, SO DELICIOUS!!! In fact, my Appetizer alone, was such a large portion I couldn't finish all of my main course. Ahi Tuna has so much protein, 25+ grams that next time I visit, I can order just Ahi Tuna. Overall, I really did have a wonderful experience. I would say the exterior building may throw some people off to thinking it's a junky place, but give them a try. You may be surprised how good their Thai Customer Service is and how much of high quality cuisine you're getting here. Prices are surprisingly reasonable here. I'm looking forward to making another business trip to Fort Smith and use "Thai Curry," Restaurant as an excuse to come back. read more

First off, the food was good. What ruined our experience was we always get papaya salad as our app and they are way heavy handed with fish sauce. You taste no lime, nothing else- for the rest of your meal. You literally smell it when they set it down. I've had many orders of papaya salad from around the country and I have never had one that tasted like this! read more

The restaurant was empty when we arrived at 4.30pm and I should have trusted my gut. The windows and floors needed a good clean and we ordered a green chicken curry and the duck green curry. I left most of my duck curry as the meat was like shoe leather lumps and burnt making it inedible. I pointed it out to the waitress who asked me if I wanted it in a "to go box"! I said no, you can put it in the trash. My wife had the chicken curry, which was slightly better, but she said it was chewy. Never again. read more

I'm new to the area and Living in Muskogee OK it's limited on Asian cuisine. I had been looking for a good Thai restaurant and hadn't found one in Tulsa worth going back to. My wife, daughter and I drove to Ft. Smith to see some sights and decided to visit Thai Curry. What an awesome place. I had the #49 (Phad See Ew) and it was on point! I got the 4 on their spice meter and it was plenty hot. The service was also on point. Very friendly and attentive staff. We will definitely take the drive back to Ft. I ordered a door dash delivery and am sad to say that the quality of food has gone downhill. I ordered a tofu pad thai, minus the egg. When opened, it clearly had egg! The funny part is the top of container had written in marker " no egg "!! I don't know what kind of joke they are running but you are going to make someone very sick! Not to mention, I also ordered 2 orders of veggie spring rolls and only received one. I called to let business know and was only offered a refund for the items not received. Not the best place in town. Unfortunately, living in a small city limits the choices of good food. This place is only good for those moments when you don't want to spend too much money on food. Don't expect anything good from this place and expect to receive lousy service. Now I have never had authentic Thai food but I know when something is over cooked and bland. The noodles were so over cooked that it was more like a sticky rice ball. When I did manage to get a piece of noodles with the taste of nothing. I can make a tastier meal by cooking some ramen then air frying it for texture. The service at this place is horrible. When they make a mistake the burden of proof is on the customer. I also ordered online using an app so that I can quickly pick up my order. When I asked for my order they were hesitant at giving it to me because I didn't have a DoorDash bag. I had to explain that I am not a delivery person in order to get my food. Finally, every time I order from there something is missing or instructions were not followed. It's as if there is no quality control and push out whatever they can as quickly as possible. Overall I don't recommend this place. If you are looking for a new place to try then keep looking. So happy that I found this place on Google and through a local's lunch suggestion. Located in the downtown are of Fort Smith, this offers another type of cuisine besides the bars and barbecue for lunch. The first time we came there were a few other groups for lunch. Our server was attentive and took our order's immediately. The food did come out pretty slowly for some reason. I think our whole table got variations of the red curry with tofu, chicken or steak. The single serving of curry was very large and came with white rice, protein and vegetables in a spicy and creamy broth. I had soft tofu with a spiciness of 3/6 which was pretty mild. This style was pretty creamy with that slight sweetness from the spices. Everyone was very satisfied and had leftovers. Prices are pretty unbeatable. We paid separately at the counter. The second time was a lot less crowded for lunch so the food came out quickly. This time I had the Tom Kha tofu soup for one. My coworker had the pad thai. Mine was excellent and spicy with a light coconut milk broth. She enjoyed her pad Thai as well and had the leftovers for lunch the next day. I also tried a lotus cookie which was a perfect after lunch sweet with a crunchy and sweet shell. They seem to do a lot of takeout business if you don't want to dine in or would prefer to order ahead. The meal was filling and tasted okay, but I wasn't hugely impressed with it. I order some chicken skewers with peanut sauce and it was damn good. My fried rice was so bad I couldn't even eat 3 bites. It tasted like shrimp or fish. It was awful!
