Always the best. I leave feeling like a new person. It's clean and the tea pineapple combo after is a must! The ladies are amazing!!

Holy guacamole! A hidden gem to say the least. I had let my check-in simmer for a few days. My magician.....I mean masseuse was Nikki and she worked her magic on me! I came in very tight and uncomfortable and left feeling so relaxed. A couple days after and my body feels brand new and rejuvenated. Thank you! read more

My husband and I felt so relaxed after this couples massage! Thank you Thai Body Works.

Amazing from start to finish. Stephanie gave me a wonderful 60 minute massage-fusion. She asked if she could step on me and I couldn't wait to say yes and am so glad I did! The spa location was immaculate and had a relaxed vibe from entering the parking lot. Enjoyed being pampered for 60 mins for $85 and fresh pineapple and tea/water at the end. I can't wait to go back and have already recommended this place to friends. read more

Wow! Amazing! I highly recommend this business and Stephanie for your next Thai massage. While I have had many massages, I have never tried Thai. She was very attentive and made sure I was not uncomfortable. After my massage, there was hot tea and fresh pineapple. What a pleasure! Will definitely be back! read more

Wow. Wow. Wow. I went here for the first time today and had an hour foot massage. I can't remember the last time I was so relaxed. I was a bit worried about parking right in the heart of town but they have their own lot. Pauline was honestly amazing. She had a strong yet comforting touch and I'd go back to her again and again! To top it off they end with fresh pineapple and tea. What a nice touch. Really impressed with the quality of the massage. Definitely returning! read more

I have been coming to this location and the Dana Point location for a few years now and every single time I say to myself this is the best massage I've ever had. I've gotten many massages at nice spas nice hotels all over but nothing ever compares to this massage especially for the price! Thank you Thai Body Works you all rock! read more

Been getting massages all over this world, this place is my absolute favorite, every masseuse is very experienced. People talking about "rude" or "aggressive" customer service don't understand cultures outside their own ;) read more

BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE -- there was miscommunication initially when booked our first appointment so they gave us a discount coming back the second time. We got an hour couples massage in the same room and it was a 10/10 experience for both of us. After the massage they gave us a seat in the front room before paying and handed us two fresh pineapple slices, chocolate and water (you could choose between that or tea) AMAZING experience. Highly recommend. read more

I've been to the Dana Point location several times, Great massages and always easy to get in right away.

This is the second location we've been to. And, they are just as amazing as the first! As soon as you walk in, it feels like you've walked into a spa in Thailand. The entire place is clean and beautifully decorated. They have a small parking lot for approximately 8 cars and there is free street parking, as well. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We walked in a little after they opened, requested a 90 min couples massage, and were taken right into our private room. The room was very dimly lit and you'll see that instead of a massage table, they use mats that are on the floor. Before you get started, don't forget to use the potty! You want to make sure you are as relaxed as possible and not worry about having to hold anything in or having to stop during your massage. In the private room, they asked what areas we wanted to have them focus on and the type of pressure we wanted. Then, they gave us a few minutes to undress. They have hangers on the wall to hang up your clothes. We undressed down to our underwear, but guess you can take it all off if you want. Just know that you may not always be covered as the towel might shift, especially during the stretches if they're included in the type of massage you requested. Once undressed, we were asked to lay face down on the mat and to cover ourselves with the towel that was provided. The room and the mats were a nice, warm temperature and never felt cold while there. There are nice, soothing sounds and music playing softly in the background. If you don't specify what type of massage you want, they will automatically give you the fusion massage. During our 90 min fusion massage, they used a combination of techniques: pressure points, walking on us from our feet up to our back (they have rails on the ceiling to hold on to), deep tissue massage, hot stones, assisted stretches. They used some tiger balm and a good amount of oil throughout the massage, but have damp, warm towels to wipe you down with. At times it hurt a bit, but always felt so good! They definitely went to town, trying to remove all the kinks and knots and to release all of the built up tension in our muscles. They made sure to hit practically every inch of our bodies. They did not massage our entire face, but did a bit on our foreheads and temples. Once the massage started, they made sure that we were comfortable and that their pressure was to our liking. They put in a lot of effort to ensure that our visit was as enjoyable, beneficial, and relaxing as possible. Definitely a unique, yet fantastic massage. Not comparable to any other massage we've ever had. Give this place a try! We'll be returning guests, for sure. If you plan on doing the same, don't leave there without a stamp card. You'll get a stamp for every hour of service you have and will eventually get a free one hour massage. read more

I went back in Nov. for another massage, this was my 3rd time, and it is still fantastic! Worth every penny. I hope everyone tries this place out. The temperature and level of the music were perfect, the massage was rehabilitating, I left feeling much better. I was sore and asked for extra balm, so Sophia used extra tiger balm on my back and neck and then at the end of the massage she used 3 or 4 piping hot towels to wipe off the massage oil, wow, the heat felt amazing and now I was really sleepy. Sophia is outstanding and a master MT. I appreciate that I can fall asleep and that I can relax, I don't feel like I have to carry on long conversations, but she is glad to answer questions if I ask. She will check to see if you can handle the amount of pressure that she is applying. I went later in the afternoon than normal, so it was a little more crowded, and I still could not hear much noise, just some murmuring in the hallway. After the massage I was offered lemon grass tea and it was tasty, I am now a fan. I wish TBW was closer to San Diego and I can't wait to go back in December. read more

My go-to for a Thai body massage nearby. I go to both locations the San Clemente & Dana point. Always change up the massage therapist because everyone is good and i like to make an appointment an hour before. I also always opt out of the stepping on the back part and it's absolutely perfect. The stretches at the end are the best and helps bring you back to life. I'm read more

My massage with Marsha was amazing! I've been to a ton of Thai massage places and this was hands down the best massage I have received. The places was super clean and water and pineapple were offered at the end! read more

Wow. I can't rave enough about my experience today. I was greeted kindly and brought into my room. Cindy introduced herself and asked how I like the pressure. For me strong is my preference. Cindy was amazing the entire massage and pin pointed each of my problem areas. I love that they do a mixture of walking on you to massage to hot stones. I will 100% be back. As an avid massage goer I highly recommend this little spot if you're in the neighborhood! My only regret is that I didn't get 90 minutes ha read more

Got an amazing massage right after a recent Spartan race....needless to say, the massage therapist did a fantastic job! If it wasn't for her, I would be for sure sore for weeks! Can't beat the price, location and the quality of massage. Totally worth ever penny. read more

Absolute ruddest lady working at this place. Condescending, bad attitude with the worst service. They need to fire the lady working at the front. After making a 24 hour advance reservation for a couple's massage, we walked in 10 minutes late and she refused service and told me that she already took someone else for our massage. Then she condescendingly told me "you need to be on time". There is a 15 minute grace period and we arrived before the 15 minute late period. I showed the clock to her, as it was CLEARLY Before 15 minutes. I have been coming to this place for 10 years, and this ladies behavior and attitude is unacceptable. She argued with me about everything and was insanely rude! I used to tell everyone to come here, and now I will be sure to do the opposite. This management has gone down, and the service needs to be fixed. read more

Went here last Sunday after reading the good reviews. As soon as you enter the place, you can tell you've stepped off into a calm, mellow little universe hidden away in San Clemente. You are gently greeted, asked to wait, and then taken to a dimly lit room with relaxing music playing in the background. You disrobe, cover yourself with a sheet, and lie down. Soon, my masseuse came in and got to work. I drifted away under the healing touch of her hands. They didn't ask what kind of massage I wanted (Thai, Swedish, or Fusion), but I was at ease to just go with the flow, so it was a bit of a fusion massage. Some great stretching and bending of limbs and back, and some great tissue massage. I asked twice for her to turn up the pressure a bit-I didn't get a whole lot more, so next time I guess I need to be just a bit more demanding. That was my one minor comlaint. Other than that, Nadia was able to leave me feeling soothed and relaxed after a great massage. I also appreciated the hot towels they use to rub you down so you don't go home feeling sticky and oily. Definitely will go back. read more

If you're looking for someone who doesn't know the anatomy of the body & a person to slap oil on you, this is your spot!! This massage was SO BAD I kept looking at the clock!! Omg. I get massages all the time. I tried this place because my normal spot was booked. Never again will I come here. Don't waste your time or money. Buyer beware. Go to the Laguna cliffs marriot in Dana point. See Stephanie or Chris. Ask for the locals deal you won't be disappointed. ^^^ I'd like to add... to top it all off, my massage was cut by 4 minutes. read more

So I go into the massage door to ask when they open and cost and I got the meanest look because I was enterrupting this girl from her texting on her phone and she was very rude and told me 100 dollars and I said what about the half hr for 49 dollars just to massage my neck as it is hurting, and she went back to her phone and just avoided me!! So I said you need to pay attention to your customers instead of your phone and i walked out!! Really you couldn't put your phone down and smile and talk to me with kindness! No wonder people are not doing well poor people skills!! Ill go to Huntington beach were people are respectful!! read more

I believe Thai Body Works is as good as massage gets. This should be the massage destination for South Orange County. If you prefer your massage while wrapped in sheets on an operating table this experience may not be for you. Here you enter a tranquil and beautiful Thai world and are escorted to a private room where you disrobe and lie on a comfortable mat on the floor. A towel creates a sense of modesty as the therapist enters and proceeds to manipulate every party of your body. Remember this is a full body massage. The combination of the deep tissue and oil massage created a totally relaxing encounter. You give in and let the therapist take control. After every session I have total relief from chronic shoulder pain and nagging discomfort in my legs. I actually feel revived and 10 years younger. George is a true professional and his training brings new techniques and suggestions every week. The staff is very friendly and well trained and the price is reasonable considering the high level of this massage experience. What more could you ask for? read more

I've gone to a lot of different places for massages trying to work out the numerous amount of knots I have. Unsuccessful until I have come to here. Very professional and friendly staff and they are great at what they do. They ask what you need them to work on and/or what areas are bothering you and as they work if they notice kinks or knots they will focus in to work them out. Also the stretching part helps a lot, I've had tightness / stiffness in my shoulders and hamstrings since as long as i can remember but now I'm starting to feel more loose and limber.!! read more

Pretty good massage at their newest location in San Clemente at $65/hr which is better than the standard $85/hr at Americanized spas. They did a great job w/ the decor, it's all dark woods and very peaceful & zen. This was our first Thai massage experience and it was in a couples room. They don't have traditional massage tables, they have padded mats on the floor. As with most Asian massage places, the therapists use the full weight of their body at times when they are really getting into certain muscles, so they will kind of climb onto your back. Don't freak out, it's completely legit and professional. This is not THAT kind of place. These women are strong and will throw the creepy people out in a heartbeat. They cover you up with a thin towel, so it's a little more exposed than normal. I focused on my great massage and didn't let my modesty ruin it. They use warm towels to wipe the oil off of you so you don't leave greasy. They are really nice with great customer service. We'd come back here again. read more

Heavenly - available ASAP & great prices. I was in horrible pain from stress and in serious need of a massage, as we drove through town we saw this place on the side of the road & a couple others so I called all of them, and this one had immediate availability. We pull up and they have their own parking. Starting from there exterior the smooth music was playing and it continued the tranquil ambiance indoors. The lovely ladies checked me in and showed me to my room. The rooms are a little dark, but lovely with the mats on the floor. The massage was heavenly, every touch, push, pull or point of pressure was like she read my mind. I asked for a Swedish full body massage and she offered variation of that mixed with Thai massage which combines a little stretching. Every moment was a little piece of heaven. She was excellent at communicating letting me know she can adjust the pressure if needed. Thai body works was heavenly... I feel so fortunate to have chosen them with a drive by... Amazing luck! read more

Fantastic massage. It is worth your time. They use a combo of Swedish, Deep tissue, and Thai massage. All the therapists are good with slightly different styles. My favorite is June because she can dig in and does a great job stretching me. Great decor and ambiance. A lot of attention to detail with Thai artifacts and artwork. The place is very clean. The best thing about Thai people working here in the U.S. is that they are very appreciative of the opportunity they have. You can depend on them putting their best effort for you. read more
