My husband and I made an appointment here for a much needed massage and this spot did not disappoint. We were kindly greeted by the front desk when we arrived and taken into our couples room immediately. The room was clean, dim, and quiet with soft music playing. So the vibe was completely relaxing before the massage even began. The kind lady who was my masseuse gladly put a little more pressure when I asked her to and it was heaven on earth! The hot stones were a sweet touch. She used them in my shoulder blade area and it felt great! Wish I got her name. She was wonderful. We will be visiting here again very soon!

Ask the Community - On Point Massage

Hello, can you book 2 people at the same time for a massage (I mean do you have more than one masseur)? By appointment?

I’m sorry Full today Thanks

What are your prices for full body massage?

Hi dear 60 minutes Swedish Massage $55…

What is the procedure at this massage place? Is it clothing on or off? What is the expected tip? Thanks!

Hi dear Take off your clothes. Hot oil massage and hot stone. You can also choose to massage…

What is the expected tip? While I know it's up to the individual, I also have read reviews (for other establishments) where people get accosted for giving a 15% or 20% tip...…

The staff at On Point Massage are professional and very friendly. Your choice of tip, while expected, is always appreciated. All of their massage therapists are well trained and deliver great service. My husband goes often and he tends to give a 30%…

Hi:) I'm curious what kind of massage oil is used? Is it mineral oil? Or coconut oil? Thank you

Hi dear It is a professional massage oil. Colorless and odorless…

Do you have a sauna?

Hi dear We don't have a sauna…

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes they do sell gift cards. I received one as a present a while back.

We arrived at the property a little before scheduled check in (2 hours ahead of time). I thought we…read morewould have to wait a long while, but the receptionist (Holly) checked us in immediately, and upgraded our room. She was friendly, professional, helpful, and accommodating. She explained all the hotel's amenities. In addition to the room charge, a $40 resort fee got us: 1. On-site parking; 2. Welcome sangrias; 3. Chocolate chip cookies each night; 4. A European styled breakfast each morning from 7am to 10am; 5. Wi-fi; 6. Beach chairs and umbrellas. Parking in Laguna Beach is a premium, so parking at the resort was great. The city of Laguna offers a free shuttle with a bus stop almost in front of the hotel. So we parked our car and took the shuttle all over town. The property is a well maintained, quant renovated 26 room Italian style resort. It's clean, charming, and has lots of character. It felt nice being at a small property and not at a large commercial hotel. We felt like we were back in Italy on vacation again! Just walking past the front of the hotel, you would not know that there is a luxury resort inside. They have a heated swimming pool (83 degrees), a sauna, and a secluded sun bathing lounge area and several other amenities. We opted for the heated wellness treatment which is a jacuzzi hot tub for two with mineral water. But they also offer single and couples messages and other message therapies. They have a quant internal courtyard for dining as well. We enjoyed a great European breakfast each day which was well prepared, fresh, healthy, and served by great hostesses. We especially liked the frittatas, fresh squeezed orange juice, hot coffee, and iced cold lemon water. The property is a historic landmark, so it doesn't offer handicap accessibility. So if you or someone in your group is in a wheel chair or uses a walker then this property won't work for you. Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely go back again.

The service was excellent and can see that staff takes great care and attention to making sure everything is taken care of. We very much appreciated all the amenities this inn had to offer such as the welcome drink, evening cookies (delicious!), sauna, sunblock at the pool, towels, lovely breakfast.. all complimentary (breakfast with resort fee). We also appreciated the 10% military discount. We stayed in room 23 which was a standard queen bed with garden view and liked that spot because it felt central, private, and quiet. The room is on the smaller side but it was fine. It does not have a fridge but they provide an ice bucket. We ended up putting our bottled waters on top of the AC box and that kept it cool. Being that the inn is beautifully historic, there weren't many outlets inside the room. The bath robes were very plush. Both lamp shade knobs didn't seem to turn properly but we made it work somehow. Otherwise, we felt well taken care of throughout our stay and so glad we came. Aside from the inn, there is a walk to get to Victoria Beach. We walked south along Coast Highway to Victoria Place and found the underpass from there. We also took the free trolley outside of the hotel to get around town. It could be quite a wait for the trolley as we waited 30 mins. There is a QR code on the sign to track the trolley locations.

The facility and spa was updated and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. The quiet space and ambiance with the beach as the backdrop while eating a quick lunch was unforgettable. Immediately, the entrance/valet was so chaotic, dozens of golfers unloading, no traffic control and barely an acknowledgment when I pulled up with my car after waiting. Heading to the spa, the reception was awkward. Myself and another guest were shown the amentities at the same time. The locker area is so small so it felt strange when the attendant gave us two neighboring lockers in an already very small area, and she knew we weren't together. The indoor sauna is tiny, 2 people max, if you sit. One person couldn't even lie down. There was also no cold plunge. The spa pool is off the gym and to my surprise had absolutely no attendants. Trying to get the umbrellas open took me and my friend a few minutes of struggle to pop open. I was under the impression we would be able to have lunch by the pool but that was not the case. I maybe saw 2 attendants throughout the whole day in the spa itself. The massage itself was very nice, but didn't make up for the rest of the sub par things that day. Oh & the parking validation didn't even cover the whole cost, it's still a $15 charge. If you're looking for a spa day at one of the resorts here, save your searching and go to the Montage!
