I have been a patron of the Thai Bistro for 3 years now. The food is very good, very fresh. Portions are generous. Initially the restaurant was slow and I was afraid that this hidden gem would close! Luckily, business is booming! Unfortunately, the service for take-out is horrible!!! Instead of getting help on the weekends, they continue to go along with a few employees, let the phone ring off the hook, then hang up! Don't let the location fool you. This small South Stuart restaurant serves up made to order Thai dishes that are sure to please. The menu offers a large variety of dishes and includes a number of vegetarian choices. Since each dish is prepared to order, diners may experience a slightly longer wait time especially if they are dining with a large party. The restaurant is fairly quiet so you are able to hear your dining companions. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and answered our questions and offered suggestions regarding the different dishes. The Shrimp Chili came with six large shrimp. The sauce was spicy and for extra heat they served a little extra chili sauce on the side. The vegetables were not over done and still had some snap to them. Accompanying the dish was a small side salad with a tasty peanut dressing. The total for dinner without drinks was $27.00 before taxes and tip. Excellent food and service. Wow, I don't really care for Thai food but I guess I never had good Thai food. The portion of fried rice was so large that I joked about it. Excellent atmosphere. Very quiet restaurant with decor and amenities bordering on fine dining. The Thai is excellent, service prompt and prices more than fair. I had the Chicken Phad Thai (my go-to Thai dish) which was high quality but not spicy at all. Next time I will ask specifically for some spice added to my Dish and it will be great. read more

We've enjoyed Thai Bistro takeout for several years. Last evening dined-in and loved the atmosphere, decor, service and of course the food! From the greeting throughout the entire dinner the servers were smiling, friendly and attentive all while serving a packed house. Excellent Thai cuisine with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Several spots within the dining area for a nice couple's romantic evening meal. The service was a little slow but friendly. I had to wait a little longer than usual for drink refills and getting the bill. I will definitely go again. The prices for entree's averaged $13 - 15.00. We went there on a Saturday for lunch but it was closed. It is open on weekdays for lunch and all days for dinner, except closed on Mondays.

Our favorite Thai place! The best pad Thai around and huge portions. Also love their spring rolls, the sauce that comes with it is so yummy.

This Bistro is always excellent. We had Tom kha, nam sod, crispy duck basil and pork ginger. All were excellent. The pork was too salty for my taste, but still good flavor. In spite of 9 or ten tables, the 2 servers were unbelievable, like a well oiled machine. Will be back many more times. read more

Food was excellent service was less than par. Came here for lunch twice excellent food and service I am big on customer service having a degree in hospitality management and the medical field. So tonight I came here for dinner and had to wait 15 minutes for a server to take my order waved my credit card in the air 3 times to get the bill and wound up having to go to the register to pay and box up my own food with a $40 bill and now you want a tip right? They are lucky it was crowded but I felt very ignored by the staff. You know it's bad when your 9 year old son says mom that service was not good. It has been some time since I was to Thai Bistro. I had forgotten what I had when I was here before. Ironically I wound up orderiing the same thing. Basil duck. Once again it was wonderful. I can't change anything from my previous review. I would appreciate a larger portion of rice and a more varied wine list. WOW! We're from California and eat a lot of Asian food. The Thai Bistro did not disappoint. We ordered the clear noodle salad to split, ginger pork and the spicy shrimp.
