Pad Thai Curry: A rich blend of coconut milk, bold spices, and tender noodles topped with fresh herbs.

Now called Thai House, this spot is a gem! Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and authentic dishes that hit the mark every time. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it a must-visit.

The name is Thai house now. The decor inside is the same as Thai basil. we ordered drunken noodle which was okay. It was a little watery and little more tangy for me. The shrimp roll was okay too. Then we got California rolls which was good. We also got the spicy margarita which was okay as well.

My first time here.... Drunken Noodles SOOOO GOOD! The restaurant itself basic, not fancy ...but comfy !! Jean wearing type of atmosphere. This food is perfect for a carry out night in on the couch snuggling. Warning when you say spicy say med spicy that's " spicy " enough and I love spice !! Service was ok nothing to write home about. But we were treated kindly

This review is before the 2nd wave of COVID-19, back in July when very few places were open for dine in for our anniversary. We were dying to dine out because we were stuck and home and needed to get out! Fortunately at the time, Thai Basil was open for dine in. We came in and the atmosphere and ambiance was elegant, clean and very suitable for our anniversary dinner. We ordered the Green Curry Tofu which is my personal favorite, although it didn't look green, more of a yellowish color, it certainly made up for it with the flavors and the scrumptious veggies that were also in them. Bi Kra Prow had a wonderful flavor to it as well, the sauce was something that was worth pouring over the rice even when that was all that was left, the Pad Thai curry was nice with the peanut and curry flavor, and Drunken Noodle which was a nice blend with all the vegetables...all veganized of course, meaning they could convert these dishes without fish/oyster sauce and can eliminate the MSG. The food was excellent and very good in portions and quality that was pleasing to the palate and explosive fireworks to our tastebuds. A little on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for in quantity and quality. Definitely worth coming again...never ordered take out from here, I don't know if take out would also have generous portions. That's what makes a Thai restaurant notable for me, their hefty generous portions.

Checked out Thai Basil for the first time! Lots of options for Thai and Japanese food lovers. I ordered the green curry, which uses a yellow curry paste versus green curry paste. I inquired about the color different and was told that is how green curry looks when you add curry paste. Well...I'm Thai... I snapped a pic and sent it to my mom, who confirmed it was yellow curry paste used. Don't get me wrong, it was still super yummy. I was hoping I would get what I ordered, but after asking I was still told it was green curry. My husband got the pineapple fried rice. Loved the addition of raisins and fried egg on top. Quality was good, so I'll definitely be back to try the sushi.

Went to Thai Basil on a whim and it appears that they offer mostly takeout, which was great for a fast and quiet dining in experience. Their veggie rolls are very fairly priced and fresh, but the curry was a bit bland and not as spicy as I was hoping for. Overall solid choice.

    Pa-Se ewe - very good

Very good Thai food. Pleasant service. Nice ambience. Stoped here for a weekday lunch. The place was not that busy, kind of tucked inside so not very prominent from the street. Ample parking in front and street parking too. What ever we order tasted just fine. But lacked little authenticity. I ordered my regular dish to compare thai restaurants. Pa-Se-ewe with fried tofu and extra veggies($1 extra). It tasted good. 7/10 - lacked little. I needed to add hot sauce(chili paste). The sliding roll tasted fresh. We also got the veggie curry with rice. Was very good as well. As any other Thai restaurant they had very good vegetarian options. The interior was well maintained and clean. The staff was nice. Ample detonated parking and street parking

Grilled chicken skewers with a thick and delicious peanut sauce and a carrot/ cucumber one.

With a pleasant evening forecasted, a friend and I agreed to meet up for dinner outdoors - patio dining in downtown Plymouth. I've been to the Livonia location of this restaurant often but never to this one and would not have known of this location without my friend's prompting. As we caught up and people watched, we sampled some chicken skewers served with an almost-irresistible peanut sauce and refreshing cucumber salad. Actually, it was more like a sauce with chopped carrots and cucumber than a salad. I went with the Vegetable Delight for my entrée, with mixed seafood. The dish was, as the name implies, chock full of bean sprouts, julienned red and green peppers, broccoli spears, thinly-sliced celery, and water chestnuts, all in a brown sauce. This was accompanied by calamari rings, scallops, and shrimp and served with a bowl of rice. We both requested mild heat level but I did not expect the dish to be more on the bland side. Service was friendly but given we were the sole diners on the patio, she appeared less frequently.

So I usually am very picky about my sushi/takeout but since Thai basil was so close to my house I tried them out . I've had their food before today but this is my second time so I can form an opinion I really like the fact their spicy tuna roll has spicy mayo , I usually get it with the tuna tartare spicy blend but this was yummy! The shrimp and avocado roll was yummy too My daughter got Cali roll and loved it! Very good quality sushi

They have their own parking lot, not too bad…read more The restaurant looks like it took over a bank or some office based business. Not what I would expect for a Thai restaurant. One waiter running the entire restaurant and one food runner. Ordered chicken fresh roll, crab cheese, tom yum chicken, gai tom ka with chicken, pad Thai with chicken, steamed tofu and veggies, Thai hot, pad prik with chicken and steam tofu, medium+. $76.07 They do charge more for using CC here. :( Their scallop and crab meat are imitation. Scallops as imitation, that's a first. They give you a complimentary salad to start. Dressing is interesting, tastes fishy, maybe some fish sauce to the sauce. It's meh. The crab cheese is good, good flavor, not much crab to them. Wonton is super crunchy. The fresh rolls are good, rather slim, but at least they put a decent slice of chicken breast meat in the roll. The peanut sauce is okay, added some chili to it to give it some flavor and kick. The rolls are good. The Tom Yum is okay, thought there would be more lemongrass flavoring to it. I have heard from 3 pick-up customers that this place is closing. I asked a staffer, they close in two weeks. Building was purchased and they have to move. They are still trying to find a new place to relocate to, yet. The pad Thai was okay. They use the dried chili peppers for the heat. The pad pak was pretty good. Lots of green peppers and onions though. I think there was all of two red peppers in the dish, more would have been good. Service is good.

I had been unwell for a week, so there were no groceries at home. Thai food was a welcomed change…read morefrom the bland cuisine I had been subsisting on. A quick search brought me to a restaurant that has been part of my town for as long as I can remember; I don't know why I've never been here. It was way past lunch, so the restaurant was empty. Before I was properly settled, a warm soup of tofu and pasta was served to me. Yum. I had the Three's Company: stir-fried shrimp, scallops, imitation crab, and I think, squid. The curry-based meal was served with meaty, chunky mushrooms (yum!), green peppers, bamboo shoots, and onions. As expected, the lunch-sized portion was small. Additionally, I tried a few bites of the duck, fried and served with broccoli spears, carrot slices, and baby corn, all in a brown sauce. Good but pricey. Service was fine.
