I tried a lot of Chinese or Thai places and this one is one of the best Thai basil including overall service.

The restaurant is labeled as Thai, but the food feels much closer to Chinese-style fast food than authentic Thai cuisine. The flavors and preparation of the "Thai" fried rice with cashews, pineapple, and bean sprouts didn't reflect traditional Thai cooking at all. Unfortunately, the experience was also impacted by the staff, who came across as rude and unwelcoming. Overall, the visit was disappointing and not what you would expect based on the restaurant's name or description. read more

Overall: 8/10 Food: 8/10 Service: 6/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Value: 9/10 The service started off rough. Definitely a bit of a communication challenge. Thought they would understand "medium" spice but not so much. With a little extra explanation we got it worked out. Coconut soup was good and the green curry beer was great. They don't close between lunch and dinner so they're great if you're looking for a mid-afternoon meal. read more

Big portions, good price, funny service, delicious food. Ambiance is clean and no wait to sit. I wish the peanut sauce was a little thicker for my preference but still yummy. I ordered the panang and it's delicious with chicken. read more

This is my go-to place and the food is very good. However, I had to knock them down a star because they switched to a third party delivery service and it takes forever to get the food now. They need to bring back in-house delivery. read more

I have eaten here many times over the years and enjoyed the food immensely. This time, however, the food was blandly seasoned and the sliced chicken tasted of freezer burn. The sauce was unexceptional. I expected much better quality than what I got. To serve anything that taste a freezer burn is not good. It will be a very long time before I go back. read more

I stopped in for lunch and it was fairly busy. I was seated right away and brought water immediately. I got the drunken noodles with tofu and it came out hot very quickly. The spice was just the right amount and the tofu was really tasty. I would have liked more vegetables in the dish but it was good overall and the service was excellent. read more

I love Thai food and don't get it often, however decided to take a chance on this place, as I'd heard it was good. My Pad Thai arrived on time and I couldn't wait to try it. This so-called Pad Thai had 95% noodles, 4 pieces of chicken and was so under seasoned it was like eating a children's meal. This cost $21. If I'd been able to go to the restaurant myself I would have, however I have a broken leg...thus the delivery by Door Dash, whose service was top notch. I'd recommend not ordering from this restaurant. It may have been good years ago, but is a 2/10 now. read more

Food was terrible ! The chicken was tough and over cooked . The noodles were not flavorful . Plus they forgot half my order on a delivery and blamed it On Door Dash. Don't order from Here! read more

Once we used to love this place but we haven't been back for a while , due to poor service and declining quality on our last visit. Decided to give them a chance again , but upon "check in", showing them their own coupon caused a serious awkward vibe as they refused the coupon then continued to comment on every check Back stop, to our table How they don't "do " Yelp or participate in Yelp ..,, uh ? That's not how it works . ? We 2 people, ordered 3 dinner entrees at lunch time , only to get treated rudely like bums for showing them their own " Yelp check in offer" . I Can NoT recommend Thai Basil any longer & I hope they realized such a cheap reaction cost them customers permanently read more

Thai Basil - They do not honer their own check In offer . So Dissatisfied with THIS BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE CHOICE BY MANAGER. - Thai Near Me - Colorado Springs, Colorado

We have loved going to Thai Basil since 2008. The food is ALWAYS good. If not, they will make it right. They have a sweet twist in their Phad Thai (which includes shrimp). The Tequila Lime Beef is one of my faves, as are the Spring Rolls and soups. And the Pineapple Curry is my wife and daughter's favorite. We go there at least once a month if not more. read more

I really love coming here, I've tried a few Thai restaurants in the Springs and this one is my absolute favorite now. I always get the pineapple curry with Shrimp! It's so yummy. The service is fast and the waitress is always nice. read more

The Thai BBQ Chicken is delicious! The service is friendly and communicative. The ambiance is good with a Thai setting to enjoy my food.

Great food. Good selection. We order from here at least twice a a month. The curries are great as are the drunken noodles.

We ate here for lunch and loved it! Food was fresh and delicious. We can't wait to try other items on the menu.

Had a craving for Sesame chicken and decided to try the local spot closets to me and was not disappointed! The food was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing! The chicken was not overly sweet, which is uncommon but nice, and the wontons were some of the best I've had! A nice surprise was there were steamed vegetables under the chicken, I was not expecting it and tasted so good. I liked the option of taking it to go, they were so quick to help, and the food was ready fast as well. I will be back and ready to try more dishes! read more

Look ... I've only eaten here once, one night when I was in the mood for thai food about a year ago ... but my husband and I forgot where this place was & what it was called, but have wanted to come back since we first tried it. Finally found it, and are so excited to eat here again. Saving this to my favorites. Definitely recommended if you are in the mood for Thai in Colorado Springs. read more

So delicious! We did pickup, order was ready quicker than expected. We had the pad Thai ( super awesome it comes with both chicken and shrimp), Thai basil chicken, crab Rangoon and vegetable egg rolls. I am a wimp , I can't handle super spicy and I was ok with the Thai basil chicken. I liked that the crab Rangoons had pieces of crab in it too. Definitely recommend checking this spot out. read more

From reading the yelp reviews I knew that if I checked in I would get a free appetizer. Just a note that the only free appetizer I was allowed to get was the fried egg rolls. They were quite crispy on the outside, but kind of gummy on the inside from having too much egg roll wrapper. Kind of greasy, and not much flavor. Underwhelming. I ordered chicken Thai basil and it was exactly as I expected. I really liked the ratio of meat to rice. The spice was the level that I asked for and the chicken was tender. Their happy hour wine was two dollars, which was a great deal. It was $1.50 beers including Bluemoon and Tsingtao. Our waitress was quite friendly and personable. The food was served promptly. Overall a very pleasant experience. read more

These guys just saved the day for my Wife and I !!! We are stuck in a Hotel room where NO other restaurant would deliver food because there is a Blizzard outside. Called Thai Basil and they sent us a super friendly driver right away with some delicious fried rice, noodles and more. They are awesome !!! Absolutely Recommend !!! read more

Terrible pad Thai. I asked for no shrimp and extra peanuts. What ensued is mountains of chicken in a hopelessly sweet, gummy sauce. 1/4 the shoots aren't even in the mix, dry, just tossed in. It doesn't even taste like pad Thai. I'll likely give this away to a homeless person on the way home. Wow. I knew our ethnic food here suffered. But this is disappointing. read more

Great food and service! Very friendly staff and I agree with other reviews that they are very accommodating.
