GREAT Thai in NWA. We ordered take out/delivery. Food was HOT upon arrival and plentiful! We ordered fried spring rolls (veg & pork) and egg rolls. Excellent crispiness - not soggy and flavorful. I ordered take out from here and got two dishes, the drunken noodles and veggies with coconut peanut sauce. Take out was smoothe and the people working there were very kind. Prices are amazing!!! The entrees were only $10.99?? Incredible! And the portions are large too. We ordered two entree and it was enough for 4 people! We would've probably needed 3 entree if we were superrr hungry though. I had the worst experience there tonight. I used the lady's room, and as I'm picking up my delivery a very angry young lady accosted me at the register with an extremely rude "I would appreciate if you flushed the toilet next time" loud enough that the entire tiny dining heard her. I busted out into tears. It was an honest mistake. If she knew what I had endured today she would understand why there was blood in the toilet and maybe why it slipped my mind to flush. You never know when someone is having their worst day ever, please just be kind to one another. read more

Thai Basil never misses. No matter what part of the country I'm in, I have never had a bad experience at any of their locations. The food always tastes the same which says a lot because they really take the time to perfect such delicious flavors. The restaurants are always small and intimate but it stays busy, whether you're dining in or doing takeout. Suggestions- green curry with brown rice(mouthwatering), pineapple fried rice (don't knock it before you try it!), and pad kee mao (this is my go to). Honorable mentions- pad see ew. I'm obsessed with the wide flat rice noodles and they always modify my order since I'm vegan to take out the eggs and carrots for my allergy. Love love looooooove!! read more

Returned again because Thai Basil is so delicious. Obviously had more pad thai but this time we also tried the fried rice with seafood mix and the crab rangoons. Both were excellent! The crab rangoons were the best I've had in Northwest Arkansas! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Thai fried rice: strong egg taste. Mushy. Bad. Red curry: it arrived cold(Thai rice was hot), weird aftertaste as if it was microwaved, did not eat more than one bite. Watery consistency. Cheesecake: arrived literally FROZEN. Wow. First time in here. Came in and went to the counter to be seated. Two employees are chatting as if I'm invisible. Ok. No worries, maybe it's important. When I'm visible again, I'm allowed to seat myself anywhere I choose. I ordered Shrimp Spring rolls, and Tofu Pad Thai. The Shrimp rolls were good, peanut sauce not as much. The pad Thai came. Bottom of the plate is full of grease. Noodles: not pad Thai noodles. Flavor: greasy salt is how I'd describe it. Pretty disappointing considering all the great reviews. Seriously some of the best Thai food I've had in the US. We had the dumplings, pad Thai, butterfly shrimp, mango sticky rice and Thai tea. Couldn't have been happier with it. Place was clean as a whistle, even now during COVID, as clean as this place was and the precautions you see their staff taking, I would have felt comfortable eating inside if that had been an option. Had a hankering for some Thai and thought we would give Thai Basil a try. No pictures as it's during Covid and to-go packaging doesn't do food justice. We started off with fresh spring rolls that were fresh, with crispy julienne carrot strips and bean sprouts and a great tangy dipping sauce. For the entree's my wife had a peanut and coconut noodle dish that was delicious. I went with a pork green curry with rice that was one of the best tasting Asian curries I have ever had. As for portion sizes, both my wife and I are hearty eaters and neither of us could finish our meals in one go. However, we both eagerly polished off those leftovers that night for dinner! read more

Came in for lunch for the first time. We picked the perfect time. Seemed crowded when we arrived , but not 10 minutes later did it clear out. We ordered angle wings for appetizer, deep fried wings with ground pork stuffing....delicious! My honey ordered the Lad Na , stir fry noodles , broccoli, carrots, onions, mushroom , cut corn in gravy ...medium spice . I ordered the fried rice with chicken. Ordered takeout on a saturday night and had to wait a little bit for the food since the restaurant was pretty busy! The menu is pretty extensive and we got the pad thai and massaman curry, both were really flavorful and the portions are pretty big too! We definitely had enough for 1-2 leftover meals. This is a fairly small restaurant that is nicely decorated but a lot of supplies stacked around in the restaurant area. We came in on a Saturday around noon expecting a large crowd by the reviews but there was only one other diner. It took a little while for a cook to bring our menu's but our orders were taken pretty quickly and food came out fairly quickly. I started with the crab Rangoon and they were excellent with a large about of crab meet stuffed inside. I then had the Panang Curry with chicken and it had great flavor as was more than I could eat. We finished up with the Mango Sticky Rice which was excellent as well. Service was very cold, uninviting and seemed to not want to be there. They had a LOT of take out orders while we were there as well and seemed to be very efficient with them. read more

I am writing this review as a fan of this restaurant, in the hopes that they take it to heart and improve their customer service a bit. Speaking strictly about the food, I'd give this place a 8 or 9 out of 10. Food is delicious, generally well priced for what you get. But more and more lately, I have been receiving not-so-great service. The last time I went to eat there, I was told to take a seat and then forgotten about for several minutes, even though the restaurant was all but empty. While I was waiting several minutes for someone to bring me a menu, one of the other two people in the restaurant went up to pay, and I could hear him complaining about being ignored. Today, I tried to place a to-go order about an hour before closing time, and the person who answered the phone basically just said "we closed early tonight so we won't be able to take your order" and then hung up right away. Again, this restaurant has some of my favorite Asian food in Bentonville, but their customer service is really slipping lately. read more

Ordered chicken pad Thai with extra veggies and a side of fried dumplings. They gave me exactly what I asked for which is why I'm giving 2 stars, however the sauce in the pad Thai was overly sweet and unlike any authentic Thai food I've had anywhere in the US or world. I'm assuming the flavors here are sweeter to satisfy the local palate... but it was difficult to eat with as sweet as it was. Think Chinese orange chicken sweet. No heat or Thai chilies or anything, didn't even ask me how spicy I wanted it and in retrospect I probably would've asked for a 3-4/5, solely to counteract the sweetness. Apparently they add sugar, how much I do not know, because the young man working at the cashier would not tell me what the ingredients were when I called to ask, he shrugged me off saying "these are authentic Thai flavors made by the person who owns the business" and then hung up on me (Friday 9 April 2021, 7pm). There should be a notice somewhere that says the seasoning is tuned to local Arkansan palates, because I would not recommend this dish as authentic Thai. The fried dumplings were decent, and the saving grace of this meal. Fried to perfection and pork mixture flavored really well. Cashier also did not wear mask, if anyone cares about that. read more

Best Thai in Bentonville! My husband and I love the Chicken Pad See Ew, Chicken Pad Thai and Pork Spring Rolls.

This was our first time eating in a restaurant in over a year (due to the pandemic), and it went smoothly. Service was quick and it wasn't crowded- looks like they do a LOT of take-out. The pad see ew with beef was really tasty- the medium spicy had some heat but definitely not too much. I enjoyed the crinkle-cut carrots included. My husband got the mango fried rice, which was also really good. The chicken satay was a bit bizarre- very hard, kind of crunchy and difficult to cut. I'd pass on that next time and just stick to the noodle/rice dishes. read more

This is a very nondescript place, with almost no ambiance (actually sort of rare for a Thai restaurant, regardless of the price point). Still, my meal was exceptional enough to earn a 5* review. I got the pork with mixed veg, and it was pretty much perfect: plenty of lean pork and a wide variety of veg, cooked just right, and neither too salty nor too greasy. While I was ravenous enough to eat every last bite, I easily could've made two meals of it. read more

I'm a Thai fanatic so I always make it a point to try Thai food whenever I travel. I asked quite a few people from NW Arkansas on where to get good Thai food and they pointed me towards Thai Basil. Thai basil is located in a small strip mall. Plenty of parking. Employees are very friendly and attentive. I came for lunch, made my order and had my food within 12 minutes.
