This is a nice nature area near some busy roads. Because of its location, it's not quite as quiet as some of the parks that don't have to contend with so much nearby traffic, but it is quite pretty. The trail is paved and gravel in various sections and heads through the woods for quite a bit, providing nice shade. There are a lot of forks and splits in the trail, so you can adjust the length of walk/hike/jog based on how much you choose to wind around. In addition to the trail, you can find several other interesting features in the park. In the middle of the nicely sized parking lot is a great succulent garden, and when you head over towards the trail, you can find several informational signs that provide insight on Thaddeus Kosciuszko and the history of Dublin. Near these are a large gazebo with picnic tables that overlook a pretty pond that is full of neat plants and pond life. If you follow the trail towards the side of the park that sits near 33, there is a very neat sculpture up on a hill. Another neat feature appears in the woods - a small overlook with signage about the karst make-up of the area and lets you look at a sinkhole that is forming into a cave. With the amount of leaves right now, the sinkhole is a bit obscured right now, but I bet during the winter, it is more visible. Very neat park with pieces of history, geology, art, and nature all in one place! read more
