There's a large pond near the parking lot, a memorial located behind the municipal buildings and police department, and winding paved paths that take you around to all of the sights and sounds of the park. The parking lot is good sized and offers some EV charging stations.

Not much of a much. Maybe it is being rebuilt? But there is a small building with bathrooms and what looks like it will be a nature center, and tons of trails up and down the hills. Surrounded by development, but fairly quiet, at least on an early spring weekday afternoon. Saved because of its creeks and hills and gullies, surely. Lots of shale outcrops, some decent elevation changes, well-developed paths mixed with more basic ones, decent parking. Far from our usual routes, but worth a detour.

We wanted to see this awesome statue, because Dublin has lots of amazing public art, and Leatherlips is one of them. But there is so much more to Scioto Park. This is one of the main public parks in Dublin, and it's the site of outdoor concerts in the summer and sledding in the winter. There are also nature trails, a playground, picnic shelters, lots of grassy areas, and places on the trail where you can view the Scioto River, which runs through the park. We also stumbled upon a cute statue diorama of a turtle and a beaver. My kids are obsessed (literally obsessed) with beavers, so when we accidentally came across a beaver statue hidden in the brush, they lost their little minds. You can find these statues near the parking lot.

This is a really neat park that nicely bridges natural and active areas. There's a great view of…read moreseveral ponds that are full of birds and surrounded by some bird houses. It's really relaxing to watch the water and wildlife from the bridges. There are several athletic fields, including some very nice baseball diamonds, and a shelterhouse with restrooms. The playground is located near the ponds and is extremely cool! It is nicely worked into the landscape, taking advantage of varying heights with a lot of neat ways to get up and down to the various levels, from boulders to jump on, giant stone steps to take, slides, stumps to step on, and the like. There is a great zip line that kids can easily work themselves, and it really picks up some great speed. There are climbing walls, nets, and musical elements. It looks like there is a really nice water play area during the warmer months - it has a nice flow down the hill, over rocks, under logs, and ending in a sand area. We definitely want to come back again when it's warm to check that out. A paved multi-use trail is also available. We really enjoyed this park!

Went to Glick after a few weeks of rain, and it did not disappoint! Sure, this looks like forbidden…read morechocolate milk, but the absolute roar of the falling water, the height of the swollen river, and the sparkling foam atop the muddy waters were all worth seeing against the bluest sky we've seen in some time. There's a steep little path where you can walk down to a platform near the river and see the measurements for how high the water actually is. There's also some guard rails up top so you can get close to the dam and look down near some cute little benches and tables where you can enjoy your snacks. This is fun and peaceful little excursion you can do in as little as 10min or take your time enjoying.

You'll see O'Shaughnessy Dam, pumping tons of water from the Scioto River into the faucets of the fine people of Dublin and Columbus and surrounding Ohio areas. This is a really neat park. It's not a park-park, but more of a place with picnic benches and a big grassy area, where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors while looking and listening to the water fall in the dam. The ambient sound of the water is relaxing -- it's just so big and loud and repetitive. I could hang out and listen to it and stare at the water for hours. However, I only got to stay and listen to the water for a minute or two, because I had children with me. Children don't appreciate standing in one place and listening to water. What kids do appreciate is exploring, and so we set off to check out what else Glick Park & Overlook had to offer. If you feel like walking a bit, there's a dirt path that goes down to the base of the dam, which will give you an up-close look at the falling water. When we visited, there were two people fishing, so I'm thinking that this might be a good place to fish. There was also a sign that warns visitors that if they hear a siren, then they should GTFO and seek higher ground. So, like, maybe don't visit when the river is high? Or maybe just keep an ear out for a siren, just in case. The walk down to the base of the dam and back up again isn't too steep, but it could have some people huffing and puffing, so keep that in mind. The path was smooth and should be OK for strollers and wheelchairs. Parking was plentiful when we visited. There were lots of spaces, and the parking lot is conveniently located right by the picnic area.

The main playground by the shelter and the service building is big, with multiple areas, and is accessible for almost anyone- stairs on several sides, and a level access off to the right. There's a music machine, always popular. Lots of climbing stuff and slides. Some games. Musical areas, mazes, balancing stuff, and more. Shades on the top of most of it, though the slides can get hot. Also plenty of benches, though no shade for those. Dublin has a lot of good parks. This is right up there. Worth a detour if you have kids.

The Columbus Metro Park system in general is quite good - all the parks we've been to are well maintained. Meeting spaces and picnic areas are convenient to parking.... From trails to playgrounds to restrooms they are all in good condition. The High Banks Park is very popular (many Columbus people drive across the city to come here) so especially on weekends finding parking can be a challenge. Plan way ahead if you want to get a picnic spot (shelter houses are by reservation most of the time). Kudos to Columbus for investing in the area's green spaces!

We…read moreloved how there were trails, paved pathways, small parks, and play areas for children all in one place. It was beautiful and very unexpectedly large. You could easily spend an entire day here walking multiple trails. We would recommend bringing water because we did not see water fountains or stations, and some stretches of trail were quite long. We would also recommend exploring and seeing what you find. We found a fun area with wooden exercise and play equipment. We spent about 30 minutes playing with all of the pieces. It was so much fun and we are already planning our next trip back!

K loved the larger playground; small one was fine, but definitely for younger kids. The big one is spread out a bit and has lots of play options. Plus, plenty of benches for tired adults. And a shelter with bathrooms, though in March those aren't open for the season yet. It's a good park in general. Lots of green space, some trees, quite a few shelters, the two playgrounds, plenty of parking, basketball and tennis courts, ball fields... Right in the middle of a growing area, so good for the neighborhood. Not busy on a spring weekday. We'll be back someday, though it's far from our usual routes.

I watched the eclipse here and it was a wonderful setting so, of course, I had to write up a review…read moreto tell you all about it. It's located in Powell, a hop, skip, or jump off of 315. It's pretty freakin' big and while I only explored a portion of it, what I did experience was great. For starters there is plenty of parking and they have restrooms on site. There's also a couple shelter areas so you can stay out of the sun or have a picnic. What I loved most was that there is a ton of green space, perfect for playing frisbee or throwing around a baseball. It's also well kept and had recently been mowed. While I was there, other than watching the eclipse, folks were playing cornhole and kids were practicing their soccer skills. Off in the distance was a lovely playground area that had swings, slides, and more. I heard there is also a small lake, but I did not have the pleasure of seeing it. Overall, it's a pretty solid park and the community around here is lucky to have such a place.
