This is a nice large park! There are multiple parking areas located throughout. The area nearest the street is mainly athletic fields and greenspace (soccer fields, baseball diamonds). There is a small playground located near this section. A little further along, there are tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts. In the very back is a nice wooded area that features a gravel trail, a huge accessible playground, and a shelterhouse with picnic tables and restrooms. In the middle of all of this is a stocked fishing pond with a little dock and a sledding hill, when conditions are right, and a paved trail winds around this central area.
The accessible playground is called Every Kid's Playground and really does seem to offer some of everything! Monkey bars, slides, rocking toys, a swaying boat, bridges, climbing structures, a variety of swings, digging ride-on toys, seesaws, and more. Benches and picnic tables are available nearby. There are colorful images in the concrete in the center of the play area, which adds a nice, fun touch. We really enjoyed our visit to this playground. There was so much to explore! read more
