Horrible property management! When u move out absolutely no one gets deposit back! Property very dirty! Poor security as well!

I regret to inform you that I have encountered numerous, exceedingly distressing, reviews regarding this condominium building. It is essential to PAY ATTENTION to the one-star ratings, as they represent the TRUE AUTHENTIC feedback. The five-star reviews appear to be insincere (fake), and based on my personal experience when I relocated to my own condo, I was offered a discount of over $100+ on my initial fees in exchange for a "favorable" review. Are these people serious??? Lmfao!! I strongly advise you to thoroughly examine those one-star reviews, as the content they provide seems credible, and they often express more kindness than these condos deserve! Individuals are cautioning you, so consider this as FREE COUNSEL! I have decided to remove this condo from my list. I am currently in the process of relocating after having spent several years as an owner in my own condo. Before this, owned my own city 3 flat for 20 years!! Trust me when I say that condo management companies tend to change almost every year nowadays. This frequent turnover is primarily due to their engagement in numerous "illegal management duties" that ultimately cost every owner. They are aware that evading lawsuits is feasible as long as they continue to shift from one condo to another regularly. I have several family members employed by the city, and this information is insider knowledge--though it is not particularly challenging to connect the dots, lol. I assure you, owning property is exceedingly OVERRATED! In the current climate, it simply isn't worth it! Taxes are astonishingly high, monthly association fees have escalated to outrageous levels, and no one warns you about the "special assessment fees," which in my case amounted to 13K!! You are given approximately three years to settle this amount, which means you must add a few hundred dollars to your monthly association fee. Additionally, condo insurance has tripled in four years!!!! And for those with a mortgage?!!! I can't even imagine!!! For me, renting will be a novel experience! I will NOT miss "taxation without representation," "special fees," or exorbitant monthly association fees either!!!! Life is challenging enough, and when we transition into a new home, we hope to believe that we are moving into a respectable environment. While nothing is perfect, if you find yourselves surrounded by exceptional neighbors and kind individuals, you have essentially struck gold!!! Regarding management companies, each new one that arrives tends to be worse than the last! It never fails!! As for some of the on-site maintenance men, what can one realistically expect from many of them? They hardly do anything and often have a negative attitude about everything. Your best option is to keep your distance from them. I always hire my own contractor and plumber to avoid dealing with such individuals. They seem to despise their lives. Lol. And it's our fault?! What once was a wonderful Building and good community feeling became a building filled with threats , unfriendly behavior by the manager who has no ability to be in a position using communication and interpersonal relationships. He might be a nuts and bolts man but, he should be dealing with tenants. The carpet is the lowest quality imaginable for NorthShore prices and isn't maintained very well The halls are noisy , and the general climate in the building is unfriendly. Many have moved out due to the horrific inability of the manager to provide a warm community feel. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live there read more

I had a cross country move and Meg was there every step of the way to make sure it went smoothly... from handling furniture delivery to reserving elevators to securing indoor parking for two cars. I have rented many apartments,, VRBO rentals and purchased homes in IL, NV and CA -- Meg is by far one of the best RE agents that I've come across. Upon move in the apartment was clean, front desk staff helpful with packages and delivery and day cleaning crew even helped me find the elevator to the parking lot. This is a great location -- close to all kinds of stores and close to the highway. Plus lots of great restaurants. I have lived here for many years, since the pandemic, but what once was a quiet and friendly building has become a terrible experience with a hostile environment once management changed to Joshua Stephens, a person who has no feelings, no empathy and no respect for anyone, has changed everything completely, he is always on a power trip, yelling at young kids that are enjoying the theater room because of little things that in the first place were never informed to the community, my kids were enjoying a nice moment in what we thought was always a friendly place and with no advice or advance email whatsoever with what was happening at the theater room he comes in and yells at them with no respect. When i go talk to him and try to find an answer he lies and tells me that he only asked a question with kindness and respect. Management in this building is a lie, he has no respect or empathy for anybody, i would never recommend moving into this community. read more

I have lived at TGM Northbrook IL 60062 for the past 2 years. In my time here this building has completely fallen apart. There is not 1 day that you don't smell pot and smoke all through the hallways. When it's raining, residents walk their dogs in the garage and allow them to defecate without cleaning up after them. Shopping carts from the near by grocery store are left in the hallways, along with garbage and boxes all through the building. As a high end Northshore Chicago complex that lists all of their amenities first on their website you would expect more. "DON'T BE FOOLED" They have short term rentals, 1mo, to 6 months, the building is never completely full and yet they continue to increase rents. Please do your research and know there are better options than this place in the area. Please avoid this company, their properties at all costs, they are all about greed, while providing a sub-par living experience. TGM Associates, please don't bother to respond with one of your auto-generated "Sorry you didn't have a good experience" responses. I have now lived here for 2.5 years and continue to be impressed by the professionalism of the various staff members. This update focuses on recent interactions with the maintenance staff. They continue to exceed my expectations with know-how, timeliness, and prioritization of their efforts. I had 2 rather significant issues (on 10/02/24 & 11/17/24) that were addressed and corrected within hours. Less urgent matters are usually handled quickly, and only once did I wait overnight for a light bulb replacement! Crazy good and fast service. And, like the other people working here, they are pleasant and gracious when you have casual contact with them in a hallway or on an elevator. They are one reason why I enjoy a delightful peace of mind living here. read more

Get everything in writing, start to finish: Ask them about rent increases after the first lease expires ($200-450 range in 2022). Get actual copies of redacted bills for water, trash, etc. Ours were verbally misquoted by 60%. When your car is towed from the garage and you get nailed for $250-300 and they tell you that they have no control over the towing company, laugh. Phantoms must be enabling the Tow Company to enter the guest garage every night. Never accept the promises that your Security Deposit will be mailed to you. Loyalty doesn't exist at TGM. We all paid our rent on the 1st of every month for years. Last year, a neighbor and friend of ours was told that he would receive his $500 Deposit back by the TGM Property and Business Managers. They strung him along for months. Finally, they admitted that TGM Corporate wouldn't mail the check to him. TGM in New York didn't return his phone calls. There were more than 30 available apts or soon to be vacated apartments available when he moved out. The guy got sick and was hospitalized on the day of his move ... so the building ownership took advantage of him. The handful of items left in his apt. when he got sick were painted around ... so with 30+ other apts. available also, TGM didn't lose money or time. His furniture and other belongings had been moved out on the morning he was hospitalized. Penny wise and pound foolish. Just so happens that this guy sued a property management company in CA for another type of stupidity about 25 years ago. About $300,000 in settlement, lawyer fees and court costs later, the company settled the case with him. There are about 35 apartments available now. Ignore the front end incentives. They will make it up and then some on the back end if you renew your lease. BTW: If money and Trumpian business practices don't matter to you, enjoy the building, but wear a mask because Covid may visit you on the crowded elevators. TGM won't enforce CDC guidelines or warnings. Upset tenants might become ex-tenants and good-bye $$$$$. Aesthetics and amenities are nice, be prepared to pay a big price. Bottom Line: Keep Looking and get written assurances. Do what we unfortunately failed to do. Share the lessons folks! read more

About a year ago, I was looking for a quality, professionally managed rental for additional space and privacy while family members returning to the area occupied my house. I determined that TGM Northshore was the best option reasonably close by, and have not been disappointed! I highly recommend TGM, especially for any type of long-term temporary need. Pat and Meg, in the office, were extremely helpful and pleasant; the level of maintenance in the building was excellent, and the door staff and package reception were very helpful. I didn't use the various amenities (pool, grills, party room, media room, business center, golf simulator, etc.) much, except for the fitness room, which was excellent and much better equipped than necessary for the amount it is used. The building is well located. It's not exactly in a neighborhood, but the convenience and closeness of shopping, transportation and restaurants makes the location appealing. It's a very large building, which creates issues, for example, the large number of elevator reservations for move-ins and move-outs. The building does not have a dedicated freight elevator; instead, the building is designed with with its elevators all being reachable from all over the building, as opposed to elevators serving certain "tiers." The office is good about posting scheduled elevator reservations in the elevators used for moving. I know that some reviewers have mentioned noisy neighbors; I did not experience that. It's a pet friendly building, and I saw that management was good about cleaning up any results of that. The building is a solid choice, and the rents are reasonable, considering the level of maintenance, amenities, and services. If you were going to make your permanent home in the building, it might make sense to invest in some lighting, window treatments, or different paint colors, because while well-designed and functional, the apartments are intended to be very neutral, and not luxurious. read more

We got out before $400/mo. lease renewal took hold. 6 other neighbors lit out too. Office shrugs and passes the buck to TGM Corp. The phantom Corp. is where? A few points about our 2 years at TGM: Positives: - The staff including the front desk guys and everyone in the management office are super friendly and helpful. - The front desk does accept packages and that was very helpful. - There is a guest suite which you can rent for out of town guests. It is nice and was very convenient. - The maintenance staff are timely in addressing issues. - The outdoor pool area is very nice and well maintained. Negatives: -This is supposed to be a no smoking building. In our experience it was definitely not non smoking. People smoked in their units, on the balconies, in the parking garage, right next to the building (supposed to be 15 feet away). The mgmt tried to address this issue by putting out reminders but the offenders it seemed didn't listen. We complained about cigarette and pot smells so strong they were coming into our unit from the hallway, when our balcony door was open etc. For us, this situation overrode all the positives in the building. Ultimately we just couldn't tolerate it any longer and that is why we chose to move. -The rent is high and it was raised quite a bit in the years we were here (at least we thought so). Almost 11% over 2 years seemed a bit much. The building is nice but to us the units were small for the price. - The building is quite large and there is no dedicated service elevator. The elevators are out of service a lot for blocks of time due to people moving. If you are on a higher floor and can't do stairs, this could be an issue if you don't want to go to another elevator that is farther away from your unit or on the other side of the building. Many people we spoke to (especially senior residents) complained about this. read more

The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because of the doormen. They are the best. Where to start off with this place. The amenities are great and they sell you on them, but there are A LOT of negatives. "Due to COVID" you can use the pool, BUT you had to bring your own chairs. When Illinois went to Tier 3 Mitigations, they closed the Golf Simulator and said they "were waiting for a part" instead of telling the people they closed it due to mitigations (barely anyone uses the simulator). This is a non-smoking building, but NO ONE listens. People are always smoking on their balcony despite the rules. My wife is 9 months pregnant and we can't open our balcony door due to people smoking. A LOT of the people in the building are slobs, they leave empty boxes in the hallways because they're too lazy to take them 10 feet to the recycling, tenants leave used diapers outside of their doors, and if a garbage bag breaks they just leave all the garbage for maintenance to pick up. COMPLETE SLOBS. Now the biggest reason for the bad review. I have a broken ankle and required major surgery. They don't have a freight elevator and ALWAYS use the elevators for moving. This week, last week of April, the south elevator has been in use everyday. This is not ADA compliant whatsoever, I am surprised they haven't gotten fined. In order to get to my car, I need to go half way across the building to one of the main elevators, go down a few floors, then go back around to the south side of the building where the handicap ramp is just to get to the parking deck. The elevators should not be reservable. They sit empty most of the time when there is a moving truck anyways. A few days ago, a fire alarm was tripped. The elevators were not working due to this. I could not get to safety. I literally went back to my apartment and sat there. What would I do if there was a real fire? I have emailed management about this, as have other residents, and never heard back from them. The management really needs to step it up. read more

I recently visited an apartment here and for the amount my friend said she was paying I expected nicer. My friends teenage daughter has less of an attitude than the people working in the office there and there are nicer places to rent nearby. We will relocate when our lease is up. Prospective residents should ask questions about monthly 'utility fees' which generally range from $50 to $100 for trash, water, sewer, gas, etc. exclusive of electric. Get stuff in writing for he or she who conveys an answer to an inquiry on the front end may be gone. Amenities are very nice. Pool, grills, putting green, golf machine, free hot drinks, and community room. My husband and I recently learned that 3 of the 4 office staff (leasing agents, finance staff) and 2 of the 3 maintenance staff have left, all within the last 2-3 months. If you believe in coincidence, don't worry about it. There were no announcements or notifications for the 5 of 7 who got gone. New staff are already onboard, but don't get too attached. If you are even a little careless about parking in the guest section of the garage, even for a few minutes to load or unload, Illinois Towing does TGM's removal of cars. Highly profitable enterprise, this towing thing. Stickers for each vehicle in the building would largely eliminate the towing game, but revenue would also be curtailed. Information about fire drills (we have had 6 to date) is non-existent. Information about rent increases is, well blame the software which allegedly sets market pricing. Our rent increases have been steep; the nasty software did it! Building management doesn't care if you are model tenants. Software trumps all other factors in lease renewals. Still the worst place to live on the Northshore. With "Luxury" apartments popping up everywhere, you need to be on top of your game. And this place is not. Between the revolving door of staff and residents alike, you have no idea whose really supposed to be there. Office staff never follows thru on anything, always blames someone else, and does nothing to clean up the mess. I understand we are just numbers there and as long as we pay our rent, our happiness doesn't matter....but it should with all the competition taking that extra step. Oh, and cant forget how cops are there numerous times during the week, the doormen disrespect you and loose packages. It really is just an awful place to live and my lease cant be up soon enough. read more

Property management probably doesn't share with resident prospects that many residents are face covering averse in the common areas i.e. hallways, lobby, elevators, garage, etc. Signs are all over the building, but folks can and do ignore signs. On the other hand, its terrific to receive 'fun' summer notices of the imminent appearances of Louis and Happy Lobster Food Trucks weekly or biweekly. Hell, they have even established more tow away zones in the front lot for them to park and to send a message to residents to park in the guest garage only. The TOW SIGNS are placed dead center among the dozen or so Future Resident Parking Spaces on either side of the building. In other words, if you want to visit or just run up to your apartment for 10 minutes, don't leave your car vulnerable to a tow. Its wonderful that TMG has its priorities straight. We have a disastrous disease which isn't going away anytime soon. TMG is doing a Covid-19 Prevention Lite program. They shouldn't worry about not being loved by the non-compliant residents if they give the prospective community spreaders some tough love; they aren't loved now. The warm fuzzies will end after you sign the lease. Best advice: Find a rental home with an aggressive Covid-19 strategy and a consistent warm fuzzies environment. There are wonderful facilities which actually care about their residents. TMG North Shore isn't one of them. read more

Best rental building in the market, hands down. First off, the staff is amazing, specifically Michael and Melissa. They were unbelievably accommodating, friendly and very knowledgable. I would not recommend anyone to live in this apartment complex that is being advertised - or at least used to - as 'premium living'. That alone is a complete joke. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. We just cannot think of a single good thing about this property... not even one. From dirty carpets to dirty elevators, terrible garage entry system, single elevator per area - so you'll wait FOREVER during peak hours, and ultimately, the NOISE. So much NOISE... We've also lived in condos and apartments in the past - so we know how to live in these environments. It's never perfect. But this one takes the cake. Throughout our stay at TGM NorthShore, we had to deal with frequent management changes - and while some of them are really nice and helpful, others are patronizing, condescending, and just plain rude. This also applies to the regional manager we worked with on one of our complaints. We first moved to the 6th floor of this complex - and that was one of the worst decisions we made. After months of communicating our concerns to the management about the constant noise coming from right above us, we then found out that the management would lease out the 7th floor to female athletes. And if you're lucky to get the ones that work out in their unit all day, every day, then good luck to you - you'll need it. After numerous complaints, we were moved to the top floor and had no one above us to deal with. However, considering how thin the walls are, it doesn't stop the noise from all around us - especially when you have a 'pot-head' who would smoke his mary-jane all day and bang his head on the walls, stomp his feet - from being 'high', etc... it's just utter nonsense. read more

Our experience here was horrible - a real nightmare. We cannot recommend anyone live at this property. You are going to see a LOT of "pro-TGM" comments here, but I know for a fact that several of these are friends and family of TGM employees who've posted bogus comments to raise their rating, so beware of the fraudulent posts here. I am more than willing to talk with anyone about this property before you move there. We stayed there for a year. We weren't there for very long before the management office moved an entire women's semi-pro basketball team into several rooms on the floor directly above us. They turned into the "party every night" group and it sounded like a herd of buffalo above us, often until the late hours of the night. The management office kept telling us to call the police and complain. The police, when they came, told us they couldn't do anything - that it was a property management issue. One night, things got so bad with a large party above us, that something resulted in a very loud crash above us. Believe it or not (and we have the photos to prove it) - we walked out into our living room and found that the ceiling had a huge crack it from whatever it was they had done up there. So, we kept complaining. They still wouldn't do ANYTHING to the people above us to quiet them down. Finally, one of the maintenance crew told us that the management office would never do anything to upset any of the players, because it was a huge monetary contract for them. We couldn't get out of our contract without paying HUGE HUGE fees, so the only option was to move to another unit inside TGM. And, of course, we had to pay for that, too. So, we moved to the top floor. Now it gets even more interesting. These are supposed to be "luxury apartments" with high-end finishes. Big joke. We were told that we were the first ones to live in that unit since it was built. Not 100% sure that is true, but that's what we were told. However, what drove that point home for us was this: we ended up giving management a very long "punch list" of items that needed fixing, cleaning & repair once we were in. Apparently, after it was built, this unit was never finished with a final punch list! Including paint drops/stains everywhere - on the floors, appliances and countertops. And the paint drops on the countertops were not immediately removed, so the paint had a lot of time to soak into the porous counter surfaces - and there they remain forever. Those wouldn't come out. The management office refused to fix them or replace them, so we were in this "luxury apartment" with countertops in the kitchen and both bathrooms that looked like they came from a paint-ball arena. Of course, we still had to pay full price for a place with a kitchen that looked like it came out of someone's 1978 single-wide trailer. Honestly, I could go on and on about what a mess our place was, but you get the point - and what's worse, they refused to make good with us on THEIR mistakes. They have a very "tough luck, it's not our problem, YOU deal with it" attitude. And I will say, we're not the types who go down and pound our fists on the table, or yell, or get angry... we were always very kind, approachable, low-pressure and honest about our dealings with them. Maybe that's why they walked all over us like they did? Still, we aren't going to change who we are when they are the ones in the wrong. They operate without very little integrity and no interest in fairness to their clients who live there. We moved here form out of state about 6 years ago. When we left TGM, we finally bought a condo and we are there to stay now. But since we moved to the Chicago area, we've stayed in 4 different rentals - the other three, we would go back to. They were nice, reputable, fair, easy to deal with. TGM is, quite frankly, a sh!tshow. No other way to say it. In the year we were there, the management office was in such disarray that we had 3 different "community managers" during that time. I can prove that - I have all their names and the dates when they transitioned. The amenities that they tout during our initial visit - they often were unusable. Four different occasions while living there, we went down to the main floor movie/theatre room to watch a DVD, and of course, it was down and not functioning. We had people on our floor that were constantly smoking pot. Again, we'd inform/complain to the office. Nothing was done. It continued, they don't care. The only thing that matters is that everyone pays their rent on time. Once you sign on the dotted line, they see you as a cash-machine and all they care about is the cash coming in. We often talked to other residents who were leaving at the end of their one-year lease and couldn't wait to get out. Their units are overpriced and they will not make your experience there reasonably quiet and enjoyable. There are so many other good, reasonable choices you can make; avoid this living hell at all costs. read more

It's a scam to smile and get residents to sign a lease only to work with the towing company down the streets to swindle residents and their visitors to get paid twice. One time the times my car was towed was during a global pandemic when we're "in this together" so way to show your true colors- what a lousy neighborhood vibe. Your residents and community deserve better. It's not essential business to hustle your residents during an outbreak. Very high priced for what you get and don't be fooled by the amenities, you probably won't use most of them. Staff is very friendly but management is lax on enforcing the rules. Be aware that in addition to your rent you pay for gas, water, garbage and your electric bill may be high due to the fact that the hot water heater is electric. read more

We like living here because it is close to everything. We have been frustrated with the changes in staff. We also find maintenance requests are taken care of quickly but often aren't fixed right the first time and several requests need to be submitted until it is taken care of. The building itself is very quiet and very clean. During COVID they have done a great job. read more

I love it here! Moved in last July and find the staff exceptionally kind and considerate. The building is beautiful with tons of amenities including a gym, outdoor pool, grilling stations, community room, conference room, media room, etc. They do a wonderful job of planning monthly events so residents can meet and greet. While the units are small in square footage, they are clean and comfortable. Northshore 770 is a great choice for a rental community! read more

My husband and I lived here for two years. Wow did things change when TGM took over. Everything became cheap, maintenance issues went unresolved, and when residents chatted in the lobby everybody was so disappointed. That's not even the purpose of my post. We moved out to be good neighbors even though we had to move in with my husband's parents while we figured out next steps. I simply could not handle the anxiety that was being caused by the neighbors complaints (see Faisal post below) as I was 10 month's pregnant and I was going to induce myself into labor with the stress (my small dog barked even after many attempts to take her to daycare and stay home with her). The worst part about it is TGM charged us $5,000 because the woman who agreed to let us move w/ only 60 days notice worked for Morningside (a great management company) and doesn't work at TGM anymore. All TGM cares about is money, not the cares of the residents. If they did, they'd have allowed us to move out without penalty since it was so disruptive to tenants like Faisal, especially since we had an agreement in place. I hope you know Faisal that when the building says they are doing what they can, they really aren't. They are a billion dollar entity and they'll never give you a personalized experience and they'll always act like robots, no matter how much you pay in rent. We will rest assured because the money TGM is trying to collect from us will be far less than the lost rent of the renters we were going to send to the building, but now will be sending to Finger Companies building. I can tell you after living in a Finger Companies building in 2016, this would NEVER have happened. read more

I love it here at TGM Northshore! I feel like I am staying at a resort. Moving here was one of the best decisions I have made since coming to this state 20 years ago. It has reduced my stress level big time in regards to my commute to work. The location is prime as everything I need is in walking distance... Botanic Gardens, Mariano's, PNC Bank, Dry Cleaners, Nail and hair salon, Nordstrom Rack :) and numerous restaurants. The complex itself is amazing and you should def book a walk through to come see for yourself. Melissa (Management Staff) is so nice and accommodating as is everyone I have met that works here. My apartment is top notch and everything looks brand new to me and I have had zero issues since moving here a few months ago. I am on the top floor and can barely here the street/cars. There is a gorgeous pool that is always clean, plenty of grilling stations, lava stone fire pits to hang out at with a nice glass of wine and comfy cushions too. Media Center is awesome to watch movies or just any show. Management has done nice free events since I have been here too. One night was Taco Tuesday and another was Wine Down Wednesday.. with wine and appetizers from Mortons.. I mean seriously? I think that's awesome and folks who live here really seem to enjoy it as well. There is a nice gym too which I have never seen full to capacity. Every area I have been in is super clean. I have nothing bad only good things to say about TGM Northshore. Keep up the great work guys! read more

My girlfriend and myself moved in in May of 2016. At first it was a little hectic with construction going on and moving in at the same time but it was well worth the move. We have met some very nice people here and not to mention it's like living at a resort. Angie and Jamie are amazing! If you have any concerns or questions they always answer. If your planning on moving in let me lay down some knowledge fo yo ass. If you have a 15 inch premium Martin Logan Dynamo Sub and a kick ass surround sound system (which you bought because you love sports and movies but later your girlfriend finds out and kicks your ass when she looks at the bill) then I suggest you hold off until you buy a house because the walls are not soundproofed. I visited the property on a Sunday afternoon since they don't mention anywhere on their website that Sunday visits are by appointment only. Man, the guy at the front desk gave me attitude like I am asking for his kidney! I even requested him to go see if a leasing professional is available and he was like 'No'. Long story short, I do not want to live in an apartment complex where staff has no courtesy for prospective residents. Imagine my plight if I were a resident! I do not want to have to deal with a management with a bad attitude towards people. I went to another 'By appointment only on Sundays' property and the leasing people were more than happy to assist me. Thank you Northshore for your help! Do not live here. This management company is incompetent. As residents, we had a 15 pound toy goldendoodle that would cry when we would leave the apartment. We began spending thousands of dollars to send her to daycare and basically stayed home all the time. When it came time to sign our lease renewal, we agreed with the community manager that if things didn't work out with the dog, we would leave with 60 days notice provided. Otherwise we would not have agreed to renew our lease. When we decided to terminate because my wife was 10 months pregnant and couldn't handle the anxiety, TGM disregarded the agreement and is sending us to collections for $5,000. We even offered them $2,000 to make the problem go away, but now we have to go through a legal battle and collection agencies. It's too bad as my sister in law was planning to move into a two bedroom with her fiance in 60 days when they move to Northbrook, but now they will not be. We will make sure everybody knows about what transpired and suggest they move to Finger Companies building down the street. read more

By far one of the worst customer service experience. Went in to see available units, was told by front desk to wait 20-30. I was happy to wait, as we were going to sit in the waiting area, same guy says it will actually be an hour wait. I asked if i could put my name down and we would be back in an hour. He ptoceeds to say, "dont worry leasing person has no other appointments, just come back in an hour". We came back, and they hand me a card and brochure to call at a later time and make an appointment. Seeing my frustration another person at the front has me fill out an information card so the leasing office can call as soon as they were available that day. Been a week, no call. Meanwhile went to Buckingham place apts, filled an application and signed the lease. Thanks for your lack of customer service and total lack of courtesy. Maybe put up a sign in the front, "we are not interested in your business". Definitely save a lot of people from wasting their time. read more

I lived here for six months starting in May 2016 for work. I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with the customer service and the response to feedback. If you provided feedback that they could implement they did. The staff was always pleasant and the amenities were fantastic. If I needed to spend more time in Northbrook this would be first on my list for places to live. read more

There have been issues of too many people at the pool who don't even live here. This is is a private residential pool, and should be treated as is. It was especially crowded during Memorial Day weekend: people left their cups everywhere, there was old food on the ground, and used wipes everywhere. There were also glass bottles everywhere, which are not allowed. I have been woken up numerous times to screaming children who do not live here. There has been trash found in the pool, and food covered in bugs. People should not be able to bring a large amount of guests; as it ruins the experience for the residents. Guests take up the chairs before people who actually live here can even get to them. Many people have complained towards the office, but they do not seem to care and do not work to enforce the rules. This building is painted as luxury, but is lacking management rules and fairness to residents. read more
