It is essential to PAY ATTENTION to the one-star ratings, as they represent the TRUE AUTHENTIC feedback. The five-star reviews appear to be insincere (fake), and based on my personal experience when I relocated to my own condo, I was offered a discount of over $100+ on my initial fees in exchange for a "favorable" review. Are these people serious??? Lmfao!! I strongly advise you to thoroughly examine those one-star reviews, as the content they provide seems credible, and they often express more kindness than these condos deserve! Individuals are cautioning you, so consider this as FREE COUNSEL! I have decided to remove this condo from my list. I am currently in the process of relocating after having spent several years as an owner in my own condo. Before this, owned my own city 3 flat for 20 years!! Trust me when I say that condo management companies tend to change almost every year nowadays. This frequent turnover is primarily due to their engagement in numerous "illegal management duties" that ultimately cost every owner. They are aware that evading lawsuits is feasible as long as they continue to shift from one condo to another regularly. I have several family members employed by the city, and this information is insider knowledge--though it is not particularly challenging to connect the dots, lol. I assure you, owning property is exceedingly OVERRATED! In the current climate, it simply isn't worth it! Taxes are astonishingly high, monthly association fees have escalated to outrageous levels, and no one warns you about the "special assessment fees," which in my case amounted to 13K!! You are given approximately three years to settle this amount, which means you must add a few hundred dollars to your monthly association fee. Additionally, condo insurance has tripled in four years!!!! And for those with a mortgage?!!! I can't even imagine!!! For me, renting will be a novel experience! I will NOT miss "taxation without representation," "special fees," or exorbitant monthly association fees either!!!! Life is challenging enough, and when we transition into a new home, we hope to believe that we are moving into a respectable environment. While nothing is perfect, if you find yourselves surrounded by exceptional neighbors and kind individuals, you have essentially struck gold!!! Regarding management companies, each new one that arrives tends to be worse than the last! It never fails!! As for some of the on-site maintenance men, what can one realistically expect from many of them? They hardly do anything and often have a negative attitude about everything. Your best option is to keep your distance from them. I always hire my own contractor and plumber to avoid dealing with such individuals. They seem to despise their lives. Lol. And it's our fault?! Best of luck to those searching for their new home!!! Those one-month free offers make me cringe as well!! Nothing comes for FREE!! I should start a blog on condos!!!

Management was as pleasant and as helpful as it could possibly have been, and the move would have been slow and frustrating without this help. Downsizing from a large home to a two-bedroom apartment has been its own set of challenges! All considered, this was a wonderful choice for us. Entrance through the front door is difficult for an individual burdened with a bag or package, and doubly so if that person has mobility challenges.

First and foremost were the staff and residents. They were all some of the warmest and friendliest people I've ever met. Not only were they warm and friendly but extremely helpful and very competent, as well as accommodating. The food was excellent, and the entire building was very clean, well-maintained, and quite attractive. There was plenty of programming and amenities both at Chestnut Square, as well as a short walk away in The Glen Town Center. Just across the street is a beautiful natural area with paved paths, a lake, shops, and plenty of places to explore. During her time at Chestnut Square, Sandra made many close friends and even developed a wonderful, close, and fulfilling romantic relationship with another resident who lived down the hall. The most important thing, however, was the dedication the staff had toward the happiness and fulfillment of all the residents. It really showed how happy everyone was in the community. Pretty amazing! When Sandra's health declined and she needed more assistance, Chestnut Square was able to provide additional on-site support through its phenomenal sister affiliate, Partners in Healthcare. The caregivers from Partners treated her and her loved ones like they were their own family. This was all available in Sandra's original apartment with a very thoughtful aging-in-place model, so she wouldn't need to transfer to another floor or facility. The care was exceptional, providing her with warmth, dignity, and respect. It comes as no surprise that Chestnut Square (a non-profit organization) is driven by their dedication to residents as well as staff--who all seem to really enjoy working there. Our entire experience with Chestnut Square was wonderful and provided the whole family with tremendous peace of mind!

I am so glad i chose to move her when i did. I have progressed to needing a walker and 12hrs a day private caregivers. Both are accommodated enthusiastically here. I know that this residential community has extended my life actively. The activity calendar offers something for mind, body, and spirit every day. Location is the best with shopping and medical care within a mile or two. The decor and residential suburban settings is superb. As is the residence itself. If you need it come join our club. This is the place!!!

It's now June 16th and they have not been back to put everything together. We call repeatedly and are told that Jeff will return our phone calls and never hear back. They sent out a floor guy but he can't do anything until the cabinets are installed. Servepro kept telling us they can't do anything until floors are installed. Now they say they are waiting on a cabinet but I am confident nothing is happening. I used servepro at the recommendation of an amazing plumber as I was told servepro handles everything beginning to end and it would be less stress. Well it's been more stress than ever and here I am with a torn apart space one week before having 14 people stay at my house. I haven't been able to work efficiently as I walk through this space daily to get to my work supplies and my kids can't use their play-space as it's next to all of this torn up stuff. We have a counter and sink just laying in the middle of where they normally play/watch tv. I can't recommend based off our experience.

Yet, their downstairs neighbor smokes inside the apartment nonstop, to the point where my mother has trouble breathing, and all her clothes and furniture smell like cigarettes! Every time I visit, I can barely breathe in the apartment, the smoke has infiltrated every item they own! They have formally complained multiple times and nothing has been done! What a horrible way to live! Beware if you have senior parents do not let them live under these terrible circumstances, unless you want them to develop health issues from second hand smoke!!!
