We chose NEW YORK CITY WINDOW TINTING, which we found on Yelp, where they've earned many excellent reviews. (I'm finally adding mine!) Jerry Ciccio is the principle. He did an excellent job on all my windows. The cost was reasonable, he and his helper arrived as planned, and finished and cleaned up very well. If you wish, you may use my name as a positive reference. Pricing goes by the size of the window(s). You'll have to do some measuring in advance, send the dimensions to him, and then Jerry can give you an estimate. He'ss answer any of your questions and concerns, and is a very congenial guy. Small update: I…read morehave had my eye on a Viofo - cam for quite a while. They can be expensive, so I waited for a sale. The particular unit that I purchased has a head unit which captures the road in front of you. It has a indoor unit that captures the cabin of your vehicle and it has a rear camera that mounts on your rear window for the back of your car. This means of course that you have the main unit, but complicates things because you now have to have wires going to two other cameras. As a side note, the indoor camera probably seems like overkill. Usually people that carry passengers like taxes or Uber with get that for safety. But let me tell you another benefit. The camera captures a very wide angle like a fisheye. What does does is and not only allows you to see what's in the cabin but also slightly out the windows. So if you happen to be driving and get sideswiped or even stop by an officer anyone comes to your window, you will be able to capture that as well. What's even better is that this camera will record in multiplex so you can see all your cameras in one footage. Let's say you have an accident and people try to say you were on the phone. With one video file you can see the outside of your car and the inside. You can use footage to prove that you weren't on your phone when the accident occurred. Biscuit also be powerful in court if an officer is accusing you of something. After my purchase online, I bought the camera and a hard wiring kit to venue Sound. I win at 1:00 in the afternoon on a Wednesday without a appointment. I was told I could get done today and they did. From start to finish it probably took about an hour and a half. I am pleased with the fit and finish. My unit is hardwired into my fuse box. The wires leading to the unit are neatly behind my roof headliner. I had a crack that happened and spread Saturday afternoon and by Sunday it was fixed very well by Ian. He told me that due to the climate and moisture it wouldn't be a perfect job and that makes sense as it was snowing with cold temps. He was very responsive via phone and on a Sunday helped to schedule me in and have it taken care of. I had most places that would push me out a couple of days and maybe have me get a new windshield. The crack was bullseye crack a little smaller than a dime and spread about 8 inches. The quoted price was very fair and much less than the big shops.
