Her salon is in a great, safe location. It is classy and well-appointed and clean, with comfortable sofas and chairs and vending machines. But most importantly, she doesn't cut corners on hiring the best talent. She has gifted braiders who have been with her for over a decade, and it shows in the magnificent styles they can deliver flawlessly and consistently. I've been going for over 10+ years with my 2 daughters. We are out of the salon in less than 5 hours or less, no matter how intricate our styles are. Our favorites are Fatu and Maya. All employees were dressed in black which lends itself to a uniform appearance (plus!). The place was clean and organized. The coat hooks were these adorable scissor shaped - very cool. The music in the salon was on point...a nice R&B blend. Bre did an awesome job on my braids. I LOVE that her service includes shampoo, blow dry AND the braiding hair. I am latina and have naturally dark brown hair. Latoya talked to me for about 30 minutes and we looked at pictures together of what I wanted to aim for. I appreciated this so much since it was my first time!!! I have gone back to her several times to keep my highlights updated and to get haircuts. I love it!! She does great work!
