I had such a positive experience with TexInspec Home and Termite Inspections and can honestly say I knew I made the right choice almost immediately. On my way to the house, I ran into Byron from TexInspec ( thought he was Christian) who shared great insight about the neighborhood, and spoke very highly of Christian Pagan, my inspector. That interaction alone said a lot about the integrity and customer service of this company, even before I officially met Christian. Side note: I appreciate the marked company vans :) Christian was incredibly thorough, patient, and easy to talk to. As a first-time homebuyer, I really appreciated how clearly he explained things and how he pointed out details I would have completely missed on my own. He made the process feel calm and manageable instead of stressful. I had the report not even an hour after inspection ended. Overall, it was just one of those experiences where everything felt right. I left feeling informed, confident, and genuinely thankful. I would absolutely recommend TexInspec to anyone, especially first-time buyers. read more

Dustin was excellent in every way. The House glittered in my eyes, but all that glitters is not gold. I was able to make an analytical decision BEFORE buying the home. I am so thankful I learned details about a fire that damaged the property and was not willing to spend time hiring a structural engineer to further investigate. I am still looking for the right home that meets my criteria of not having major problems such as foundation, roof, termites, etc. Some things are minor that are fixable and their honest investigation is great for a handyman list. ith this big of a purchase after selling my home to get closer to family, it has been a wise decision to have Texinspec on my side. Worth It to protect the equity from my home! Thank you Dustin for making the process fun and useful! Kudos to You!!! read more

TexInspec sent Travis and he did a very thorough inspection of the home I was looking to buy. He spent time going through the report with me at the end and identified some potential issues that would've been otherwise not seen without his expertise. This company has been in the business for a very long time and has the reviews to back it up. I would highly recommend them! I got a lot of value out of the inspection report and it gave me a glimpse of what to look for in the future. As I told him the money I'm spending now is going to help me avoid future pitalls down the line. If you schedule the appointment online there's a $10 offer but if you wait for them to call you back there's usually a coupon of $35 or more so there's a tip to save some additional dollars! read more

Inspector was very thorough and helped to explain any concerns to the buyer without unnecessarily worrying the buyer. Report was delivered right away and inspector was available afterwards for a few questions as we went through the inspection. read more

Tim did an excellent and thorough inspection. He checked things I never would have thought about checking. He then sat down with me and went over everything he found, and physically showed me some of what he reported. He was extremely professional and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great inspector! read more

Had 2 inspections done on 2 different properties, 1 day apart for an investor client. The first day the inspector was 1 hour late but we were notified of his late arrival. Upon his recommendation, we thought the inspector had scheduled a sewer line scope for us for Monday at 8 am thru TexInspec. Buyer has not received a confirmation of that. Inspector was detailed and finished on time. Inspector noted 9 window screens with hail damage, yet when realtor tried to identify which windows (for purposes of an amendment for repairs to seller), the realtor identified 12 window screens. 2nd inspection 2nd day on different home, the inspector took a long time for the inspection (slow-about 4 hours) but was courteous and detailed. read more

As a Realtor, I am very intentional about who I partner with, and TexInspec consistently delivers the level of integrity and professionalism that protects my clients and reflects well on me and my business. Their turnaround time is fast, and their accessibility outside of normal business hours has been a game changer when timing matters most. What truly sets them apart is their end-of-inspection process. The technician completes the report, returns with printed copies for everyone, and at that same moment the full report is delivered electronically. They walk through everything, answer questions, and review all photos in a calm, neutral, fact based way that keeps clients informed without creating panic. Even after the inspection, they are always available for follow-up questions. Every single one of my clients has absolutely loved this experience. Their inspections are thorough, they respect the home by putting everything back as they found it, and they offer a wide range of additional inspections to help protect valuable option period time. After working with them multiple times, I can confidently say I have never had a bad experience. Time and time again, TexInspec delivers excellence! read more

Very thorough. Explained everything very well and took time to answer all questions about what was found

They did great. They were prompt and respectful of time. They said they would be there at 8:30am and that's when they showed up. They said it would take 3-4 hours and they completed just before 12pm. They were very thorough with the inspection and even walked through a few times with me to show and point out some things they found that would interest me. I let them do their work for the most part without too much interference. When I did ask questions, they would take the time to answer me to my satisfaction. I appreciated their recommendations to seek further specialized inspectors for the things they felt was out of their scope of expertise so that we can decide if we needed further inspection beyond what they inspected. read more

No!! Do NOT use them!! First time homeowner and they knew it. Didn't do a proper inspection included NO plumbing or sewing line. So I have had to spend over $17k in work bc the this company never did a proper inspection and I NEVER would have bought this house if I new ahead of time. I filed a complaint with the company, no response. So just don't! I have all the paperwork and receipts and would be happy to send to anyone to show their lack of work read more

I'll also add that the inspector completely missed disclosing there was a massive area under the house being inspected that was exposed. Not knowing this, the cold freeze froze our pipes within hours and cost a lot to repair. He went under the house too, just didn't bother to actually crawl around like they're supposed to. read more

Steve Tufts with TexInspec is wonderful. I can't say enough nice things! I was so blown away by the quality of service he provided. Not only did he take great photos of items he wanted us to see due to the items being faulty or broken, but he also took photos of aspects of the home about which he felt we should be aware. He called me to share some of the nuances of this house and allowed me to ask all sorts of questions. He was very knowledgeable and knew so much! I am grateful that he gave us the peace of mind to make the best decision pertaining to purchasing a home. I have a lot of confidence about specific aspects of the home that were concerning to me based on his photos and recommendations. He is the detailed inspector you want! read more

Hired texinspec to do an inspection on my house in September and they completely missed black mold in my bathroom walls. After purchasing the home I had to tear down an entire wall and part of another to get rid of the mold and fix the water leak that was causing it. After contacting them to rectify the situation it took them 6 months to say sorry we are not responsible. This was a blatant Miss by their company. Black mold can cause serious health issues and damage and they offered no help or assistance in the matter. If you want to save your self a lot of money and time please find another inspection company. read more

When booking, I called in the afternoon and was able to book an appointment the following morning. Amber assisted me and went through their service offerings, providing an honest description of each. I appreciate that she didn't try to 'upsell' me items that I didn't need. Charles was absolutely fantastic! Really. As a first-time, home buyer I had a lot of questions and he took the time to answer and explain everything to me in terms that I would understand. The report is extremely thorough and well documented and you get in on the spot. The following day I realized that I forgot to ask a question, emailed Charles, and he responded promptly with a quick answer. Just fantastic customer service through and through! I feel very confident that I understand the state of the house so that I can make an informed purchase. I 100% plan on going with TexInspect for any future inspection needs! read more

I have so may positive words to describe how awesome TexInpec is! From scheduling my appointment to the Home Inspector coming out was a seamless process. Before I continue, I want to give a special shoutout to my home inspector, Shawn Fincanon! This wonderful guy was detailed in his inspecton and took his time going through my 2 story home to document that we he say. And speaking of the document, the amount of detail in his report is just amazing! This helps document and outline what I need to report back to the builders to fit. Last, but certainly not least, is his kindness! He showed up on time and was professional. I didn't feel like I was inconveniencing him, which helped facilitate the process. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this company to everyone I know, who is in the market of buying a home. Thank you so much! read more

I have hired TexInspec twice, and both times they were incredibly thorough, kind, willing to explain their findings in language I could understand, and shared the ramifications of what could occur if the issue was not fixed. This helped me negotiate with the seller what I needed them to fix, and what I could have done on my own. Recently, TexInspec saved me from purchasing a money pit which was a home listed by a real estate agent who was also the owner! Stupidly, I thought the agent would be upfront and honest about the problems with the home. I was incredibly wrong. TexInspec found cracks in the pool, cracks in the sewer line, that the home's foundation had a 2 inch slope (after a 2022 foundation repair!), sagging in the top floor, old water damage, broken bath tub knobs, broken exhaust fans in the bathroom, a double-tapped electrical wire in the panel, and carpenter ants! This home would have been a nightmare to own. You'd better believe I will hire TexInspec again, and if possible, I will request Jeremiah. That guy is AMAZING. read more
