Hands down the worst Texas Thrift in the entire state! The cashiers were extremely condescending, surly, but worst, slow! The stank faces led me to believe that they truly loathed their jobs. As much as I enjoy second hand shops, they made it feel like purgatory as they Checked out each customer. Although the customers seemed very cheerful, that ended once they reached the cashier. They are very disorganization, cramped aisles, products scattered around the floors. Don't waste your time here, go to Goodwill the next block, or find a different Texas Thrift. read more

Today was my third trip to this location and I made out like a bantant! I've been on the hunt for some great business professional looks lately and this place was a great find! I was able to find 4 great dress jackets that can easily be paired with some nice jeans for a more casual look. As well as 2 blouses and a fabulous leather jacket and 2 outfits for my mother all for under $60! What a steal! I wish I could have found more professional/dress blouses but I love what I found in jackets today! Definitely will be back. read more

I'm honestly impressed with how clean this texas thrift consistently is. Compared to the one in Arlington (which is a DUMP) this place is like hitting the jackpot. They have a great selection of women's shoes and I don't think I've ever walked out empty handed. Yeah occasionally the toy isle is a wreck, but if certain parents didn't allow their children to roam free it wouldn't be an issue. This is my favorite thrift store. They organize their clothes by size, which makes it very easy to find clothes that will actually fit you. I have bought a lot of dresses and jeans from here, usually in the 5-9 dollar range, which I don't mind paying because they are usually brands I like. I also buy all my kids shoes here. They sometimes mark stuff up, but I don't mind paying up a little if it is a good brand in good condition. I loved coming here because you never knew what you would find for such an awesome price! I was searching for jerseys in the men's t-shirt section when I saw a baby cockroach crawling on the t-shirts and felt disgusted and had to leave. Upon entering, the outside of this location has gotten dirtier with trash being piled up in the trash cans and spilling over blowing around near the doors when you enter. I still try to understand their line policy and why it begins so far? But I do appreciate the 25% off coupon you receive from making a donation! I think that's pretty neat. Took my kiddos thrifting today and this was one of our stops. It was clean and well organized, workers friendly and a fair choice of items to thrift through. I found some decent name brand shoes for a great deal and my daughter scored a cute tshirt. I did find some of their items are overpriced. For example, blankets, I stopped to look at a quilted coverlet, priced for $29.99!! It may have cost less than that for its original price! Also, my son. Priced a plastic jar for dog treats because it's just like one we picked up at the $1.00 store, priced at $1.98!! We had a good laugh at that!! If you look hard enough you'll find some good items at a fair price but again, be careful because there's a little bit of overpricing going on with some of their items. read more

I love to thrift & this place is very well organized! Goes by style, size and color. The quality of the stuff they have is more like a consignment shop rather than a thrift. Tons of cute dresses, loads of jeans, pretty good selection of mens stuff too. I got some MEK jeans for $6.46!! Definitely will be back. read more

This is by far my favorite thrift store to frequent. Their current batch of employees are super friendly. Their clothing is highly organized, color coded and easy to maneuver. They have a huge selection and I almost always find what I'm looking for. They also have really clean restrooms which is important to me and says a lot about a place. They've only gotten better over the last few years. The ONLY gripe I really have is that their prices are a little steep full price. A man's dress shirt for $10 is a little much for me. Even if it is a good brand. And some shoes for $24 is ludicrous. 1/2 price color helps as well as 30% discount for donating, but oh mylanta, they really do price way too steep on some things. You know when Texas thrift store opened up it was quite nice and they really had some good bargains but as time passed their prices went higher and higher and higher until they're just downright ridiculous . Up on numerous occasions I have found the pricing on some items more expensive than what I could buy for brand-new in a store. Example the red tennis shoes , store price $3.99 and thrift store price $12.91 . Worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life. The staff, ESPECIALLY the management was rude and awful. They over price messed up merchandise and don't try to make anything right. I will not be going back after my experience. I live an hour away and was in town looking around and found an item I liked. It was damaged. I still wanted to purchase it if they would price it down. I was told to come back monday. Well, I did after work and was told that the lady who told me that WAS the manager. And not to mention this time she completely ignored me. So I called Tuesday and asked to speak to the store manager. Finally the 3rd trip down I did get the item, but after 3 trips and all the grief I got, I will not be visiting this place ever again. When i went to gwt the item, the same lady who told me to come back to speak to the syore manager was ultimately the one who priced down my jacket. So she just wanted to be awful to me I am assuming. From what I gather she was just lazy and didn't wanna do her job or help me for whatever reason. HORRIBLE experience. I'm deeply offended and flabbergasted. All thrift stores have that certain something available.As for the books,movies and cd/dvds being a mess,there are many customers ,a lot with small children that are totally out of control.Most times this section and the toy section do get quite messy.This is not the fault of the store employees and should not be considered a reflection of poor workmanship. read more

I went here for the first time BY ACCIDENT, looking for Goodwill. I decided, eh...lets just go look in here. Let me just say..my days of going to Goodwill are LONG GONE. Best thrift store I've been to. Well organized (even by color in Women's and Men's), clean, priced well, staff is always pretty friendly and the best part..EVERYTHING goes 50% each week with new color tag. Goodwill offers a 50% off color tag promo as well, but it's only on textile items. This place has .99 cent Monday's, managers Special on Tuesdays, AND if you bring in a donation (can be ANYTHING) you will get a 30% off coupon to use that same day you walk in on items not on special sale. I like this store a lot. Has replaced going to Goodwill. They are much more organized, even though their book section could use some help. The only downfall I have found is that their price have continuously gone up. I found an ABC puzzle I considered but they wanted 1.99 and the original cost was $1.00 new. Some of the clothes are a good buy, but others are overpriced for used merchandise. The staff are great. read more
