There's so much to look through that it's almost impossible to see everything in one visit--every rack is packed, and the variety across categories is impressive. The layout can be a bit confusing at times. For example, shoes are placed above clothing racks, which made browsing slightly less easy. One big plus is that they have both dressing rooms and bathrooms, which is very convenient if you plan on spending a good amount of time shopping. However, the dressing room hours are a bit unclear--they seemed to close around 7 pm on weekdays, which is about an hour before the store itself closes. read more

I'm not talking designer, basically just anything that's decent quality gets a price like that.... so if you're charging brand new prices for the decent pieces, does that make everything else that you sell trash? you are not depop, you are not a consignment shop, you are not a curated second hand retail store. My husband and I were in the area and dropped $50 for some cute dresses for me, shirts for him, and a nearly brand new Vera Bradley purse for $24.99, what a steal! I liked the variety and it wasn't that bad yall, we will definitely be back next time we are in town! Thrift Giant is not for the faint of heart. In other words, leave the hubby at home if he is not a shopper! For me, bargain shopping is a sport that I LOVE. I get a high, a drunken giddiness, when I find good deals. Just knowing I find a $50 shirt for $5- yee-ha! Now, there is a disclaimer that this place can be hit or miss, so I have not found a single good thing on some shopping excursions. Also, shoppers can be...not so courteous. Kids are screaming while the mother completely ignores them. There are times I can stomach and other times I just leave because it pisses me off. For your first visit, I would suggest going during the weekday if that is feasible. At lease you will get your feet wet without having to completely dive into the experience, plus they won't be very busy. Good stuff. read more

I love the half-price sale days! There is a lot of items to choose and they keep restocking all day. They employ a lot of clerks for those sale days, so the line moves at a pretty decent pace. Prices are pretty fair, even on non-sale days. read more

I suppose it's because I went on a sale/holiday weekend but everything seemed picked through and though they have a HUGE women's selection, the men's section was very small in comparison. Prices are all over the place, depends what they think is popular that week. Employees are beyond rude and will run over you if they have a cart or rack and won't bat an eye or apologize. Depending on what you're going for, I really like this thrift store. The clothes are all in really good condition and well organized by size, but the prices are a little high. Home accessories are a great value. We got a brand new Rachel Ray pot for $4, and a set of 4 high-end drapery panels in fantastic condition for $10. Most of the styles of home textiles are dated, and the pillows are generally worn, but curtains are a good deal. The handbags are fantastic, with a lot of recognizable names for nothing, and no one buying them either. I got a like-new Liz Claiborne for 1.50 (2.99 on half off blue day) but there was a blue leather one (not my style) for $5 and a really cute Fossil satchel for $9. Ew, this place was nasty and not in a "freak nasty" kind of way. The parking lot is horrible, pot holes all over the place and janky then I walked into the store (after practically climbing on children sitting on the floor by the doors) and it was like a war zone. There was no clear indicator of sections, prices, where the line began and it smelled like pee. I drove about 20 mins to get here because I just moved here and looking to find some legit thrift stores and immediately walked out. My daughter saw a ballerina Barbie doll she felt in love with it played with her while I was picking her also some dresses to play with, price came off a little because price of the Barbie doll was on the leg, at the cashier lady there refused to sell doll exolained the policy on a rude way saying if we can't see the price clearly we cannot sell it, I asked for the manager, and this "manager" named Olga refused to sell the Barbie doll as well even though you could see a 3 something on the leg I told her sell it for 8.00 dollars or any price I will pay for it she told me waaay too angry I can't and I won't put other price she put the doll down at this point my daughter was crying, I refused to buy anything else I selected, and my message to the owner is this: Please if you have a camera on the store watch it this happend at 11:40 am , please came out with better ways to put a price on a Barbie like if you have to write it on the leg do it also in the feet with permanent ink, put the doll in a bag with price, or with a hanging tag etc. Because of this you lost a customer and because of the tears of my daughter I will make sure I post this on every social media I have and sites about the patetic and useless not empatethic employees you have at the store I'm pretty sure if this happend to their daughters they will not be happy as well, they have to remember that customers are the reason why they have their jobs in the first place read more

I usually come to thrift giant when there aren't any sales, so I can try on the clothes. #1They don't allow customers to try on clothes when sales are going on #2 They are just too packed to wait in their long line Today I came in and 1 dressing room was vacant and there was a line. When I asked the cashier to open another, she didn't respond until I asked her the third time. She never opened a dressing room, so I waited. The clothes are newer than in other thrift stores and less expensive. They have fun specials like "everything with green tag 50% off", which makes it exciting. The staff is nice, had a little conversation with the cashier, most of them are bilingual, it can be slow and they don't fold the clothes prior to putting them in the bag but it's because they're young and they're learning, give them a chance! They're good hardworking people. I dropped a donation in the donation center and the man received it with a smile and saying "have a nice day!" unlike Goodwill where all the employees have an attitude. Then I did my shopping and was a very pleasant experience with nice clothes in good condition and fair prices (I got a New with tags Forever21 dress for $8!). read more

I was in Irving for work, all the way from Pennsylvania. This is a great thrift store, but make sure you give yourself enough time to actually browse through everything. This place is such a headache. Mind you, they have a better selection and have great prices. It's typically my go-to thrift store. It's always a mess when I go (late evening) but nothing too crazy. My problem is always with the employees. I have never once heard so much as a "Hi". They just take the hangers off, turn and talk to each other (rude af) and tell you the total. This is still customer service. Even if it's a thrift store, you still have to service the customer. It's the same thing every time I come. I cringe every time. Sigh. read more

I will not be coming back to this thrift. I may only come back because they have reasonably priced Levi's but that's a big maybe. First impression was it was pretty small, freezing in the middle of fall like it felt like a freezer. The selection was not that great, and no one spoke to me, smiled nothing as far as the employees.
