Each step of the process was seamless. The staff is treated well, and it shows with how they treat customers. I observed them going above and beyond for myself, as well as other patients. In particular, Des is an absolute stand out. She is excellent in her role and clearly knowledgeable. With that said, each member of the staff was noticeably engaged in their job and eager to help. In regard to Dr. Davoodi, her expertise and communication skills stand out. She understands how to speak and engage with patients in a way that makes them feel comfortable and well taken care of. After discussing with my husband his experiences, we noticed that it was different from mine where his optometrist placed the photos on the screen and deep dive into his eyes, while I never discussed mine. I had an overall good experience and I understand if people make mistakes. But it rubbed me the wrong way when I had to reach out days later when I wish it was proactive on their part to make sure I was getting the service that I paid. I wish they called me to inform me first about the mistake versus finding it out by my husband days later that I had to call. Imagine if other people paid for the service without even getting the true service done. I still overall had a good experience with everyone with the friendly staff and I'm glad the optometrist spoke with me over the phone about my eyes, which then informed me I needed to see a referral. When you do go to him do not expect him to answer much of any question you might ask ? He just doesn't ? He is an [ eye machine doctor ] In other words he is a robotic Machine that does exactly what he Terms best for medicare ? He does not care about what you think nor about questions you nay ask ? He doesnt have time for that ? " getum in getum out dr. " Fast as possible ? But then this us our medicare system that tells doctors what they may do or may not do ? And what they may not do is anything above standard in an out that might cist them a dollar ? If doctors do not do as medicare tells them then they are dropped from the list of preferred doctors and even more are blacklisted among the medicare companies ? However that still does not explain his behavior pattern ? He simply does what he does and if you try and ask anything it just goes ignored ? His one main nurse there, will jump in and take the load off the old doc very quickly and when you go to deal with her : " she is a trained assualt tiger" Yes, youll loose every time and go away with howsoever this clinic wants you to go away ? And they do want you to go away ? But not before they do just enough to get what money they can from your medicare ? She was very pleasant, professional and thorough. She has been at this location more than 10 years and is well established in the community. When I asked for a refund, I was told they would have to clear it with the home office, and a check would be issued. It took me a week of trying to get my refund, finally I reached out to TSO main headquarters, and was told that this TSO is a franchise, so the home office lie was just to delay giving my refund. I called again while I was out, again the lie was repeated, we haven't gotten the check from the home office, so I had to go to the TSO, and make a call in front of them to Mastercard explaining that i was getting the run around. Then the girl who had been lied, told me they close early. I said I;m not leaving, she finally went back to who ever owns this TSO and came back very mad and handed me my check, I sat in the parking lot and deposited it ASAP.
