Asked at the one in Conroe where to buy around here as I am from out of town and she sent me to the one in Tomball. This location is directed by a lady name Gina whose customer service could have been a lot better. But the main reason this review gets a one star is because of the owners horrible customer treatment. When sharing my experience on google he tried to make it seem like my experience didn't happen or wasn't valid. He even had jokes. Can't wait to post the proof that this location is crap. This lady really tried to tell me $2200 for a 1 OZ gold bar and I said 2200? And she said yes that's the price of gold. I buy gold every month the current price is $1785 so it should sell for about $1875 after incurred feels. They are clearly used to selling to idiots. I will never enter foot in this store again. Total scam artist. I buy 1 Oz bars every month and they are never more than $90 over the current price of gold. read more

I have calling to get prices for standard coins and GW won't discuss pricing over the phone. When I asked why, they gave the non-answer 'because that's their policy'. When I asked if they could tell me why that's their policy they relied 'I gust did'. Shady, shady shady. That conversation made me far to nervous to step inside their store. read more

They play games with metal prices. Can never give you a straight answer on the price they pay based on spot, they make you go in to see how much you have and lowball you on what you have but when it comes to selling they charge the highest premium I've come across. If you know the metal market this place will make you laugh but for the ones that don't know it or understand it they will take advantage of you. Be careful. read more

I had an urgent financial need to help my good friend, so I decided to raise the money. I found a place in my neighborhood to sell my scrap gold. Gina, the owner of the store was truly helpful and very knowledgeable about precious metals. She gave me a crash course on how she determines metal quality and hints on what to look for. It is hard to feel comfortable selling personal items to someone, but Gina made the experience believe there are still decent and honest business people. I will certainly do business with her again. I went to sell Gina some scrap gold today. She was nice and paid a fair price.

Only 1 star because I am forced to put a star. Honesty? Don't count on it. If you have to sell to them (which a pawnshop may be slighty better) go in knowing what you have. Even when you have a diamond certificate they will try & tell you it is not true from size to inclusions! They use a laughable templete to "size" your diamond. Then scoff at you when you tell them the quotes for it from other places... then not want to even quote. Why, because the want to give me 1/10th of 1200-1700 for a certified 1ct diamond with 2 inclusion that diamond alone retails 6k. While yes, I know i won't see that price, not even expecting to come close, but 1/10 of 1200-1700 is not even gold value! Yes, I went to 2 other places after leaving. Both said def 1 ct, even 1 inclusion is feather. 1 did pull the stone out and WEIGH it and COUNT the cuts. 1.04ct... so your standard Goldweiser of template measuring screws unknowing ppl out. It does not take in consideration of depth of the diamond... If you must sell jewelery, do not go here! There are better places in Conroe & The Woodlands! I need to sell but I am not so desperate I am stupid! Even implied that the original jewelry store gave wrong cert... pretty hard to do since the diamond is lazer inscribed with serial #. They will give you a high premium almost double of what the item is valued at and will keep a straight face and explain there is a shortage. Please stay away, again they will charge you a high premium so that when you come back to sell they will charge you half the premium that you had first bought the investment for. Win in the front and on the back end. Do not trust, I repeat do no trust, buy at your own risk. read more

Very approachable and very friendly, she is very knowledgeable. I went to a couple of places with a coin collection that I inherited before I found Goldwiser - they were unhelpful and didn't want to spend the time to go through everything. when I finally took my coins in to Goldwiser, they went through every single on and gave me prices, which took several hours.
