There was a few mishaps during my time here so truthfully I want to give this 3 stars but I'll explain why they get a 4 instead. First my dad did the "call ahead" reservation online which just basically puts you in line for a table. We expected to wait on a Saturday night! I check in with the hostess, she confirms our name and says it'll be about 10min. Well 38mins go by and they keep calling tables of 2 before us. At first I thought they were just waiting in their car or something but then I got up and asked about our wait and they claim we received a text for table 30mins ago. We did not. And it looked like our name was put into an online section? Idk but essentially they seated a bunch of people before us. That part was annoying. They seated us immediately after our conversation which was good. Unfortunately got seated in the back corner right up against the bathrooms The food took awhile, again I get it because it was a packed Saturday night. We both ordered our steaks Medium (pink inside). My NY strip was definitely over cooked more like well done but I was starving. My dad's cook was grey inside. The manager asked us how our meal was so I explained the steak is over cooked and she agreed and offered a refund or a new steak. We went for the new steak. After a few minutes it came and was very good. Overall, it was an annoying experience! If we didn't advocate for ourselves it would have been a terrible experience. That being said, as we did advocate for ourselves, the staff had an opportunity to fix things the best they could. And for that, I'll give 4 stars instead of 3. I won't need to return anytime soon but I'll try it again eventually.

We visited this Texas roadhouse on Mother's Day. Keeping that in mind, I'm a little surprised myself that I'm about to give a five star rating, but they earned it. Lots of parking around the whole restaurant, including Veteran's only parking on one of the corners. Very clean inside with lots of decor to match the restaurant theme. The entire staff was very helpful and amazing from the start. Shockingly we only waited about 8 minutes for a table. Pricing was cheaper than I expected, including the steaks. The food was great. Lots of delicious menu choices. You are given buttery rolls with cinnamon butter tWe started with the fried onion. Very crispy with a nicely season batter. The dipping sauce had a little kick to it. The country fried sirloin was delicious. Cut thin and fried perfectly. The gravy on top was also delicious. Looking forward to my next trip here.

I brought my family here out for a late lunch / early dinner on a Friday afternoon. We were seated immediately. Our server was great, very patient with my kids and polite. Unfortunately the restaurant had an issue with their CO2 system so most of the drink options were not available. We had an appetizer of fried pickles (a family favorite) which were served hot and were delicious. My wife had the grilled shrimp dinner which she said was good. I had the beef tip dinner. The gravy was very well made but i could have used more steak and less mushrooms. ( still, delicious)

This is my family's absolute favorite chain restaurant! Everything is always fabulous! Great quality food (always cooked to perfection), friendly staff, great prices and a really fun atmosphere! I wish they would open a location closer to my house in NY lol! But until then, this is my favorite location. Our favorite things to order are: 6oz Dallas Filet (I always double the salad vs the other sides just because I loooove their salad with the Italian dressing). The Andy's Steak & Chicken Critters and my kids favorites. And the hubby always gets something different but is always happy with whatever he ordered. Also, we all order med-rare and have never had anything over cooked! We love you Texas Roadhouse! See you in the New Year!

I am never disappointed when visiting any Texas Roadhouse restaurant, and I am glad to have this one in Danbury, Ct just 10 minutes away from me. The food is excellent and cooked perfectly the way I like it. They have a variety of stakes all cooked to one's delight. My favorite is the Stake and Shrimp with a choice of two sides. I chose sweet potato and the house salad. Both did not disappoint. The drinks were a good selection from the bar or just iced tea or water. The waiter was very attentive and checked in every couple of minutes. The atmosphere in general was comfortable and enjoyable. The seating was also very comfortable and very Child friendly with crayons at the table to keep the young one busy while we ordered. I love that sweet hot bread, and to top it off, Paying at the table was convenient and easy. This is the place to go especially when family is visiting from out of town. The prices are reasonable and well worth the food portions. Expect to pay approx -- $90. for three people with a good tip of 25%. That is without the entre'e. This is my all time favorite as my nugget in the pocket. I can't wait to go back again. ;)

My best friend and I just left this establishment and this is the best restaurant experience we've ever had. The happiness that my friend and I have experienced at this Texas roadhouse is unmatched. The food was amazing. The service was spectacular and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Everything was cooked to perfection and was brought to the table in a timely matter. I was so happy there were a little tears streaming from my eyes because of how genuinely happy I was to be here. I ordered a 6 ounce sirloin steak and a side of shrimp and everything was cooked so well that I took a home with me so I can continue to have this amazing experience at home. Our waiter Jimbo was extremely kind and extremely professional and made our experience so much better. He periodically checked to make sure that everything was good and that we were having a good time, and the manager also personally stopped by and checked in on our experience as well. If I could, I would get married in this restaurant.

We have been to many Texas Roadhouse Restaurants & it's the same, great food across the board. They all serve those warm rolls w. The cinnamon butter, at the same time ur being seated! For us it's a huge plus when the kids r hungry! Very kid friendly!! they always give a new box of crayons, w. A "rangers coloring book" On the menu theres, 2 options "kids & Ranger Meals" which is perfect bc our little one is only 4yrs old! As u walk-in they have, what they call "perfect hand-cut steaks" u can select ur choice now, or from the menu! One of our go-to's has always been the 12oz New York strip steak! & we have never been unhappy! Seasoned perfectly! The rib appetizer w fries! I swear once we have the bread & appetizer we r full & ready to go! So we always ask for to-go boxes & our meal gets packed away for the following day!! When celebrating a Bday, they will bring a saddle, no matter the age, & have everyone participate in the "YEE-Haw" super cute!! Brian is the dining room mgr & checks in to make sure we enjoyed our dinner, super nice of him to do!! Prices are also reasonable, & they're always sending out coupons, in my email! This place is definitely 5 stars across the board!

First time in a Texas Roadhouse and it won't be my last. Been wanting to try a Texas Roadhouse location for years and finally got the chance to. Inside is casual with a good atmosphere. If you like steak, this is a place for you. While they do have other options on the menu, the steak is the main event here. The menu has enough of a variety to appease most. On the table, there is a bucket with a bag of peanuts for you. As much as I wanted to have some, I declined as soon as I had the rolls. The rolls were excellent as was the butter. Honestly, I could've eaten an entire large bowl of just the rolls and been content. Ordered the combo appetizer (you can choose up to 3), which included the spicy boneless Buffalo wings, twisted Mozzarella, and tater skins. Everything tasted great. For the entrée, I ordered the porterhouse T-Bone while my companion ordered the filet medallions. Everything was cooked perfectly. Sides were good - I had ordered the broccoli and mashed potatoes - both good. I had wanted to take a picture to post here, but everything looked so good that I forgot to take the pictures of my dish. Maybe next time. The Hurricane margarita was tasty. Staff was overall friendly. Our waitress Sam was wonderful and absolutely perfect. I'd come back here again just for her. Plenty of parking. The place can get VERY crowded during a rush, so if you know you're coming here, be sure to leave yourself some time and expect to possibly wait. We got here right before the rush and upon leaving there was a lot of people waiting for seats to open up. Unsure if they do reservations here, but if they do it's recommended. Overall nice and fun place. Been wanting to try them for years and finally got the chance to. I will be back here (or any location) again and look forward to doing so. Come with an appetite, because you're going to need it.

Good Texas Roadhouse location, steak was cooked perfectly if a bit underseasoned. Appetizers a bit cold. Service was excellent. Great place to get a steak without breaking the bank.

Sitting at the bar I was offered service right away and handed those amazing rolls of bread! I ordered the New York strip with baked potato and rice. The entire meal was delicious and the steak was cooked to my liking. The bartender was very nice and checked in just enough to be sure I was good with everything.

I absolutely love this Texas Roadhouse location! The staff are always friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. My fiancé and I always get the same dishes each time- Country Fried Chicken and Country Fried Sirloin with a side of seasoned rice and a loaded baked potato/loaded mashed potatoes for sides. I also order an extra side of gravy. The margaritas and Long Island Iced Tea are also really good but they don't load it with alcohol (you have to order extra tequila for your margaritas). This is a great place for comfort food and a fun time! (Shout out to our waiter Josh who warned us about the downpour outside in case we had our windows down in the car. He was awesome throughout our meal)!

Throughout the meal, we were consistently overlooked by the staff. Despite being clearly visible, we had to repeatedly ask for assistance while employees stood nearby without offering help. What made the experience particularly upsetting was the sense that we were being treated differently based on our appearance. We hadn't been there since their re-opening, so we were looking forward to it. Upon entering, the manager greeted us by saying Merry Christmas, and asked if we had a reservation, we did not, but he said it was no problem. Our uncle had recently had a hip replacement, and asked where we would be seated, (I'm assuming he asked because he was still having difficulty walking, and might have wanted to ask for a close table.) The manager replied, "you'll sit where I put you." Okay, we chose to take it as a bit of humor, and we wound up sitting close to the entrance anyway. We get our menus, and the "specials" menu was a little confusing, because it was Saturday, and the specials menu said it was for Sunday. The manager happened to be walking by, and my husband asked if the menu we were handed might have been given to us by mistake. The manager assured him that EVERYTHING on the menu were the specials of the day. We were still a little confused, because the menu specified certain days when other meal options were available. We then all decided to order the prime rib (Monday - Prime Rib), it may not have been Monday, but it was a specific day on the specials menu. So, when placing our prime rib order with the waitress, she informed us that the prime rib was only available on the day indicated. Derp. Okay, we moved on from that, and we all three decided on the "cowboy rib-eye". From here on, I can only tell you what I experienced with my meal. I ordered the steak and a side of creamed spinach. The $46.00 steak was huge, but very difficult to cut. I had to saw at it, and in trying to do so, ran into so much gristle that it was almost inedible. My creamed spinach was extremely watery and had no seasoning at all. My uncle was sitting next to me, and I saw him repeatedly removing the steak he was chewing, and putting it onto his plate. I was having the same trouble chewing my steak, but I just kept chewing until I could swallow it. Creamed spinach is my very favorite side, so I was willing to overlook the tough as nails steak to enjoy the spinach, but the waterlogged side I received failed that simple assignment. I wish I could have been able to give a positive review, but I just can't. I will never want to go back to Chuck's, even if invited. From the manager's odd greeting and very loud gruff voice ordering the staff around, to an extremely disappointing and expensive meal - this place gets two thumbs down from me.

It took an hr for us to be allowed in the salad bar. I ate a small amount so not to be spoiled. When it came time for our meals it was a weird buffet style meal. The "fillet mignon", onions and mushrooms were just regular beef. Juicy meat but some of us were expecting a big piece of meat to cut. The tongs were like those old school hand resistance training thingies. The pasta hardly had any taste, the best thing was the chicken parm and mashed potatoes. The servers were okay. But they were spilling drinks around the tables. It was very cold and uncomfortable inside from people opening the door. They could have closed the door to our party room so it wouldnt get so drafty. I would've liked ice cream instead of Costco cake for dessert. It was also full of drunk people shouting all evening. But what was more important was saying goodbye to a very kind colleague. It's unfortunate that the food wasn't so memorable.

The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, and the staff was attentive without ever being rushed. It gave us a great chance to really enjoy the space and the food. We started with the two-cheese crostini, which ended up being one of the highlights of the night. The bread was perfectly crisp, and the cheeses had just the right amount of richness without being heavy. I also tried their seasonal non-alcoholic Spiced Apple-Lini, and it was surprisingly delicious--refreshing, slightly sweet, and very "fall in a glass." For my entrée, I ordered the chicken Milanese, and I have to say it might be the best I've ever had. I'm usually very particular about chicken dishes, but the flavor and texture were spot-on. The breading was light and crispy, and the chicken itself wasn't dry at all. The plate came with a beautiful mix of seasonal vegetables--roasted squash, shaved fennel, cranberries, and arugula--topped with an apple cider vinaigrette that pulled everything together. It tasted fresh, balanced, and really thoughtful. We ended the meal with their cheesecake served with a house-made pistachio crème. The flavor was fantastic, especially the pistachio topping, which really made it unique. My only tiny note is that I personally prefer cheesecake a bit colder and denser rather than closer to room temperature, but that's purely personal preference and didn't take away from enjoying it. The owner also came by to chat with us, and he was incredibly friendly--clearly someone who cares about his guests and the quality of the experience. Between the great service, thoughtful menu, and inviting atmosphere, we're already looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes. Definitely a strong addition to the Danbury dining scene.
