Loaded Baked Potato
Amy M.

Stopped by around 11:30 on a Friday and even though it was pretty crowded, we were seated pretty quickly. Our server was super friendly and helpful and very nice, which is always a plus in my book. I ordered a sirloin steak with baked potato and sweet potato (things I am generally too lazy to make at home, they take soooooo long to bake!) and the steak was done exactly how I wanted it, so the temp was perfect on mine. The sweet potato was great and my only complaint with the potato is that they apparently coat the skins with salt during the cooking process, so it is soooooo salty. I generally prefer to eat my potato skins and not only was it inedible, it also drops salt all into your potato so it gets way too salty too. I only wanted butter and sour cream on mine, but I could not imagine how much saltier it would be if I also opted for the cheese and bacon like my brother did. I'm not sure if you could even get the potato without the salt, so I would definitely just have to opt for something else next time. We split a cactus blossom between the three of us and it is huge and delicious. Four people could have comfortably shared it. Some of the petals closer to the interior can be a little underdone, with some of the batter still being wet, so I did eat around some of those parts, opting for the outer layers which crisp up much faster. I'd probably still order it again since it is still a pretty huge appetizer for the price, and it tastes pretty good. You can smell it cooking from the parking lot and it definitely made us want to order it. The decor is pretty classic patriotic and military inspired, which I obviously love since I am retired military myself. I do find it very comforting to be surrounded by murals of aircraft carriers and military bases and such. Might not be everybody's thing, but I much prefer it to taxidermy animals, which tends to be the other theme of steakhouses for some reason... Also, the rolls and butter are awesome. We will definitely be back when we are feeling carnivorous.

We had a part of 10. Excellent service, everything was correct, tasty, and served correctly. Bottomless rolls were epic and the food was excellent considering it being a huge party as well as a chain restaurant. Great location! I've been to a few underwhelming locations but this was not one of them.

Roadkill and over 3/4 still left on the plate! No thanks tooo salty

Service was ok. But don't bother complaining that your food is too salty because the server and the manager won't care! The server blatantly told us they get many complaints about the salt!! Then the server asked if I wanted a to go box---ummm NO IF IM NOT EATING IT HERE I WONT BE EATING IT AT HOME-it's too salty! The only other thing I have to complain about is the fact that the server didn't ask if I wanted a refill she stated would u like a to go cup?! Ummmm nothing like being pushed out! Definitely not going back! Knowing full well ur kitchen staff is heavy handed with the salt and doing nothing about it just makes sense to me right?!

Visiting the Battlefield- dropped in for some eats. This is a casual roadhouse that serves everything from steaks to burgers. The menu is quite large. I see it has a steakhouse as they offer a great selection of hand cut steaks. Burgers are huge !! They also offer seafood, chicken, and pork chops. Decor is mostly booths with very bright lights - the atmosphere is roadhouse - music playing and above average loudness. In the center is a bar area and there are some televisions. They offer complimentary roasted peanuts at the door if you have to wait. We were seated quickly. They give you a basket of fresh baked rolls and a house butter with sugar and cinnamon when seated. Service was very quick - above average overall. We ordered a basket of boneless wings for starters and a couple beverages- they always have great drink specials. The boneless wing basket was filled - nicely cooked and covered with a mild hot wing sauce - which I thought was a little spicy. They have Hot for those that want the extra kick. Fir the main course we order sirloin steak- which comes with 2 sides- we opted for baked potato and salad. They brought the salad first - it was nice sized and they have great choice of dressings. The steaks arrived with huge baked potato's. The steaks are seasoned so you probably do not need sauces but they do offer for those who like. One of our steaks was super good very tender - cooked to a perfect medium- the other not so much- was very chewy and little under cooked. I tried a few different slices but to no avail. I mentioned to the waitress- she quickly offered to have another prepared. I guess that happens - I think they handled it very well. We also had one of their Long Island Ice Teas - very good. All in all the food was very tasty - less the tough steak which they offered to replace and the service excellent. This place was casual and fun - the food and drinks are great. We will return. Check them out ! I hear the chicken fried steak is awesome!!

Food was good and service was quick. The waitress was nice and helped us with a debate we were having at the table.

In the middle of February, they had the air conditioning on! We had to change or leave. It was that cold. We changed tables, and it was tolerable. I still didn't feel warm enough to remove my coat until I was done eating. It is a loud restaurant. It is difficult to have a conversation with those you are dining with. A lot of yelling. The dining room was dirty. Service was good. The kitchen was fast. The food was okay, just okay. One of the things Texas Roadhouse boasts about is their fresh, hand cut steak. Based upon taste and texture, I would disagree. My steak had previously been frozen, not fresh. It's no better than a cheap steak at Applebee's. This is several times and multiple locations where I have low quality meals from Texas Roadhouse. Dining room cleanliness was an issue too. I am done with this chain.

We were traveling through Richmond and were looking for a place to eat since I had to stop for gasoline. Texas Roadhouse popped up and my passenger said let's go! So, we did. It was lively environment inside. The noise level was atrocious with banging of plates and people raising their voices to compensate. I had to get some ear protection because it was giving me a headache. (Tissue in the ears could also be used.) The family diagonally from us had a cute little girl smacking her ears in an attempt to deafen the sound. As for the food it came within a short amount of time even though they were busy. Our server was Damiyana and although she said she was still in training, was outstanding. Good job on your training program Texas Roadhouse! The food was very good. I got the Ribs and she got the Grilled shrimp and steak combo. Great portion size and very tasty. We topped it off with apple pie and ice cream. Now the apple pie did not meet my expectations. It was heavy and dull tasting. Overall good experience eating here. However, no military discount and so close to Washington, DC. So, 4 out of 5.

The service from Calib was AWesome! Calib created a welcoming atmosphere, fun and real customer service! I would give Calib a 5star review. My food and drink was ok. I did not know the catfish was cut into strips I would've ordered 5! My baked potato was good, I could've used more bacon and cheese for a loaded potato. The Burger/steak fries were good as well. Drinks were GREAT & packed a punch. I would return to see Calib! The hostess was new and training, she had a welcoming personality as well! She even let me use her personal hand sanitizer because the restaurant hand sanitizer was empty! That was VERY NICE & kind of her It's the personal touches for me! I was overly pleased with the staff and their pleasant demeanor. Keep hiring friendly people

Tonight was a hit compared to all other visits. Super cheerful hostess. Seated in a room all to ourselves even though they were packed. Fantastic, quick waitress. Refills, cold fresh salad, hot delicious chicken fingers, ribs, and steak...only blip was regular butter for the rolls which I actually prefer. Best experience at any Texas Roadhouse!

Since we were informed that we couldn't make reservations on the same day, we did have about a 45 minute wait when we got there but we didn't mind. We were sent a link to track how far we were in line, which I thought was very helpful. Once we were seated, our server came over right away with waters. She was extremely nice and gave us time to look over the menu. The Potato Leak Soup was on their March Specials Menu so we decided to order that with a Bread Basket to start. The bread was delicious, very soft and warm, it was served with a whipped, honey butter and herbed oil. Unfortunately, the soup was cold when we received it. I'm not sure if it had been sitting a while but we did have them returned. Oddly enough, they were returned in a larger bowl, not the same size cup, but with the same amount of soup lol. It definitely was weird but it was indeed piping hot and the soup was delicious. The Crab Stuffed Mushrooms were great as well. I decided on the Crab Stuffed Shrimp, my daughter chose the Chicken Marsala and my sister went with the Hand Cut NY Strip. I thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp, the flavors were great and the NY Strip was cooked perfectly. My daughter wasn't a fan of her Chicken Marsala but they did switch it out for some Salmon. Overall, my daughter had a great birthday dinner yet again. Our server was new but we couldn't tell because she did a great job at making sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious! I will always recommend Sedona Taphouse for anyone looking for a great meal and dining experience.

Estate Restaurant - Colonial Heights, VA 1/5…read moreI visited Estate Restaurant on May 5, 2026 for Cinco de Mayo, but called ahead the day before to confirm what specials they'd be offering. An employee told me they would have $5 margaritas and a 3-taco deal for $10. Based on that, I made plans and brought friends. When we arrived and tried to order the taco special, we were told it didn't exist. When I explained that I had called ahead and been given that exact information, our waitress simply said she didn't know why we were told that. We weren't the only ones -- a table next to us had called ahead and received the same false information. When the manager came over, things went from disappointing to unacceptable. Instead of apologizing for his staff's misinformation, he became combative -- raising his voice and using profanity toward me and my friends. His attitude seemed to be that we were the problem, simply for expecting what we were promised. To make matters worse, the restaurant was severely understaffed with only two waitresses on the floor. Drinks took an unreasonably long time to arrive. When I mentioned this to the manager, he cursed at us again and snapped that he was busy helping other tables. No apology. No accountability. No special. I would not recommend Estate Restaurant to anyone. Poor communication, false promises, and a manager who responds to valid concerns with hostility is not something anyone should have to pay for.

We intentionally ordered something to share. We both highly recommend the ahi tuna and we added asparagus and a blue cheese walnut salad. All of it was absolutely delicious. I was freezing so we decided to go run a few errands and told our bartenders we would be back. Which we did. Troy decided to get prime rib French onion and wedge salad. As soon as he started on the prime rib he said it's the worst he had ever had. Full of gristle and way over salted. They did comp his meal but boy he's still feeling all of the salt a day later. The soup and salad he said was delicious as always. There was another lady at the bar who order a baked potato and steamed broccoli. She had to send it back several times. First couple times the broccoli was yellow. Then way undercooked almost raw. Our bartenders and the servers were great and on time with food. And as always we will probably go back because every place has off days. The bathrooms were so gross this time though. I literally took hand sanitizer to clean the toilet seat I wanted to use. She was also very overwhelmed with all the tables she had. We ordered our food and got bar drinks pretty quickly. I got the new crocodile cocktail and it was delicious. My husband never got his water he asked for. Once we got our food my potato soup was missing so I asked the food runner about it and they apologized it didn't come out before the meal and I said it was fine. The steak was cooked perfectly and the Alice chicken was delicious. By the time I got my soup I was already done eating. The bartender was busy and we didn't see her much at all. Eventually we tried to pay on the machine at the table but it wouldn't accept our giftcard. My dad went and found her and asked her to come over so we could pay. While she was there I also asked for a box, a ramekin, and a soup cup. She ran the gift card and brought back a box saying we could pay on the machine now. I asked about the soup cup and ramekin again. After paying she finally came back with the soup cup but no ramekin. I was getting ready to just leave with the bowl of soup had it taken any longer. The food was cooked well but it wasn't a great experience.

They were nice enough to bring it out to the car once it was ready. So we wanted pizza and I think that was the best item that we had. The pizza was piping hot with plenty of cheesy goodness. The sauce was slight sweet and the ratio of sauce to cheese was good. The crust was a good thickness and it was light and slightly chewy. Everything else sort of missed the mark. The wings were ok but not very crispy. The stuffed tater tots tasted like a loaded baked potato, which was great but they also weren't crisp on the outside, which was what I was expecting. The garlic bread bites tasted stale. They were overly chewy and the garlic parmesan topping was inconsistently covering them. The beef patty looked like a frozen patty from the grocery store that had been sliced open with pepperoni and cheese stuffed inside. It looked pretty pitiful and wasn't worth $2 extra for the pepperoni and cheese. I would come here again, but next time, I would only get pizza.
